Well if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black, I'm not sure what is.6

I'm sorry you are so angry and bitter, but I'm kind of glad you don't want to be around people right now. Especially glad I don't feel obligated to expose myself to all that angst.1

Regarding people that talk about you behind your back - it says a whole lot more about them than it does about you. If they say vile things about you, it doesn't mean it is true - but perhaps a wee bit of jealousy is motivating them or perhaps they are the judgmental type, and who needs them? it's not just women who can be quite catty. You cannot take these things to heart and let it make you feel bad. On FB, I had 17 people that I considered cyberfriends for multiple years, suddenly unfriend me because of my politics. Suddenly, in that group I was persona non-grata. Yes, it stung a little - but I am still going. It made me feel sad that they weren't the people that I thought they were. As they say, what other people think about you is none of your business.
As to what I would like to say to someone but never did:
Charlie - you are a complete fraud and a sick one at that.
Lisa- You are a petty tyrant and are fit to lead anyone or anything.
Orest - you are a pathetic excuse for a human being.
Beth - your lack of concern for anything that doesn't bring you face time, and your pathetic social climbing make you a laughing stock. You are just not that good.

If the "gossip" is true - then it is not really gossip; however, what kind of friends discuss you behind your back - I wouldn't consider them "friends". And then you have to ask yourself why their opinion matters to you since they clearly aren't your friends to start with. Remember junior HS with it's cliques - and one person is in one day and out the next? I would never let anyone have that kind of power over me as an adult. If your perceived friendship only exists in cyberspace and not in real life - you have to yourself who these people really are. Sometimes people create a friendly online personality, but in person they are unhappy passive aggressive people or manipulators. You can't let it get to you.1
