    turn offs
    - dark arm hair
    - doesn't wear glasses
    - short hair (kinda negotiable)
    - can't cook (not saying i want her to babysit me, because i do my own cooking, i just want someone who can do *something* in the kitchen. like one time i knew a girl who didn't know how to fry an egg)
    - slovenly

    red flags
    - keeps her read receipts turned off

way too easy to try and play games if you keep 'em turned off. this ain't even just for relationships tbh. i just inherently don't trust people who keep theirs turned off. 9 out of 10 times they're gone be the ones who screenshot your convo for the group chat.

I’ve never had that happen to me (I think). I don’t know people behave like that. I keep mine turned off because I can’t always respond right away and don’t want to come across like their text doesn’t matter.

way i see it- they're my friends or sometimes more or whatever. and they gonna have to know that sometimes I'm gonna read their text and I'm just not gonna respond. either I'm busy or tired or with someone else and i don't wanna text back.

so if they're an adult they're gonna have to accept that and it won't be a big deal. and in return they know I'm never gonna hit 'em with that "oops i JUST saw this sorrrrrrry!" response you know

did u know read receipts auto turn off when you put on “do not disturb”? i learned recently i had to manually put em back on

idk if I've ever used DND mode before. it actually makes me happy that you keep yours on though.

When you text someone it says delivered
Some have their settings so it’ll say “read” and at what time

idc if i’m left on read tbh, the best thing about it imo is u know someone isn’t dead if it says “read” but if it’s just “delivered” then they could be in a ditch somewhere

But maybe the kidnapper read it and decided not to respond.

Android user - do I even have read receipts? I don't think so. I can't see when other people have read my messages, either. Is this really a thing? Are people actually getting all het up because someone may or may not have "read" their message at 12:53 but now it's 1:04 and they still haven't responded? This is what I hate about texting. Remember back when you wanted to talk to someone and you actually had to call their HOUSE and if they weren't there, you were just out of luck until they got home and called you back. Now everyone in the world thinks that everyone ELSE in the world is at their beck and call 24/7.

I know. I'll get back to looking for my teeth and shaking my cane at whippersnappers.

    Yeah agreed.
Or when you try to break it off with someone they give you a list of your pros and cons.

Lol I dont think I have ever been in that scenario. :D would love to see how that one would pan out.
That just feels odd in thought. What do you do with that? Take it as constructive criticism? :D ........ I have however been in a scenario where an ex tried to give me advice for my next partner. That was awkward. 😂

😂😂 My reaction was, "OK. Bye!" It was ridiculous stuff as well, like, "I don't lie it when girls wear their hair up"
Good god. Giving you advice, bit presumptuous.
