I quit 30+ years ago cold turkey and have never looked back. It can be done, you just need to be ready and committed to quit. Good luck, you can do it!6

I made it through today without one cigarette. I feel fantastic. Now I just have to keep the calories down to make sure I don’t put weight on.13

Great job! I will be smoke free three years in February, I still crave them from time to time but know it's worth putting them die.

I have to be careful now. I started eating since I quit smoking. Time to start getting that under control.2

I put on 10kg in the year I gave up smoking, so yeah, watch the weight.1 -
YAY!!! This is the best decision you've ever made! You can do it! Go to places where you can't smoke- movies, stores, etc. Suck on candies or chew gum. Try not to spend time with any friends or family who smoke unless they can promise not to smoke around you. Keep us posted on your success.2
