Just ate an entire bag of broccoli

Good for you for side tracking your desire to overeat with a healthier alternative. Don't be so hard on yourself. It wont always be this difficult. You will probably fart like a crazy thing. Be kind to yourself Lots of people overeat when they are tired, stressed or anxious.2

OP--at your appointment with your doctors please show them these posts. You really need professional help and the right kind. The mind can play a lot of tricks. Don't fall for it, but you'll need help getting out of the maze. Wishing you the very best for 2019.11

IDammit there’s 100 calories in all that broccoli guess I really need to burn all that off at the gym today. I’ll go an extra 15 minutes on the treadmill (so an hour instead of 45 minutes)
Are you asking for advice, or just trolling the people trying to help you? It seems you are continuously posting new threads that show an escalating pattern of disordered behavior, and ignoring any advice to work with your dietician. What are you really looking for here?
I don’t know what I’m really looking for. All I know is I’m just really overwhelmed and frustrated and upset with myself. It’s truly exhausting being in my brain. If it’s exhausting seeing the threads I post, imagine what it must be like being in my brain. I miss feeling okay in my body and okay with myself.
Then get off the internet and get help. You posting about all of this over multiple threads is merely reinforcing the issue in your head. There's nothing anyone here can constructively do for you.11 -

I’ve been super hungry and today was super stressful.. but I didn’t want to turn to anything fattening, so I just polished off an entire big bag of broccoli florets. Will this cause me to bloat or gain weight? Or should it just go right through me?
I doubt anything will happen long term from a bunch of broccoli.
Did you log it? Did you eat 3,500 calories over your maintenance calories?
Did you dump salt or butter all over your broccoli?
Were you super hungry because you have been very restrictive or eating too low calorie lately?
Maybe work on your coping tools instead of using food for stress management in future.
My registered dietician told me not to log for a while which is making me go nuts... I keep imagining how fat I’m going to get in this period. I’ve been pretty restrictive, yes (about 1200-1400 calories a day while I was logging and burning off 600+ at the gym which I went to 3-4 times a week). I’m eating more or less the same now. I had three eggs with 1/2 cup egg whites for breakfast, a banana, some coffee with milk, a red bell pepper and snacked on some raspberries (maybe 1/2 cup?) for breakfast. My breakfasts are pretty big. For lunch I had an rx bar. For a snack I had a Kevita lemon cayenne drink, also some Smartfood Delight popcorn (rosemary flavored). I also just started my period today which is probably why I was so hungry/stressed. I should be eating less though, I feel ashamed.
Tell your RD that you are having intrusive thoughts that are keeping you from successfully following their advice. They can help you find a therapist who can help you get to a better place.7 -

He didn’t listen to me when I asked to be weighed in the morning instead and not tonight after I just started my period and ate all that broccoli and drank a bunch of water. He doesn’t understand what I’m freaking out about... I’m just so mad I’m not losing weight and i’m “overweight” as per my BMI and nobody seems to care except me. It’s exhausting and so frustrating and I can’t take this anymore.
Your husband physically picked you up and put you on the scale and stopped you moving?
If not, you could have just said no.
While he is obviously trying to help, he has no qualifications in dealing with an eating disorder
Also, you mentioned you just started your period. Are both you and your husband aware that women can temporarily retain a rough average of 5 lbs of water weight, which has *nothing* to do with fat and will dissipate over the next few days?
And why is your husband in control of when (and if) you get weighed?12 -
your husband may have been trying to show you that not logging your food has not resulted in you becoming fat overnight. your weight is unchanged.
He probably should not have weighed you, though. I agree with that statement. I also agree with all the comments that you need to get your butt off here and reach out to your therapist. Do you have a phone line you can call for someone to talk to you right away?
For me, when I cannot get control of my thoughts, or when they're too loud in my head, I find if I can get to a water source (fountain, lake, river) - for some reason that helps my mind settle. You need to find a process to help quiet the voices in your head that are churning.
If water doesn't help... classical music often does - focus on the various parts, try to pick them out... meditate.
The biggest thing is getting your brain to shut up for a bit. The problem is not your body. It's your brain.4 -
There are many of us that eat 2lbs plus of produce a day... volume eating... I am one of them.2

In one of your earlier threads I suggested you see a therapist who specializes in eating disorders and bring your husband to a few sessions so he can learn how to better support you. He was probably trying to decrease your anxiety but inadvertently only increased it.
You probably did lose weight. You just got your period so are likely retaining water. In general, women should weigh in the AM and compare themselves to last month, not last week or two weeks ago.
For you, get professional help and follow whatever weighing protocol they suggest.6 -

From other threads, OP has said he is supposed to be "blind" weighing her, so she doesn't see the actual reading. It does kind of give him some control in when she gets weighed, although if they were both behaving like adults, it would mean either could veto a weigh-in, not that either could force a weigh-in. And from previous threads, it seems to me he gives her too much information. Not her actual weight, but enough information in relation to previous weigh-ins and time to goal at current weight-loss rate that figuring out her current weight is a pretty basic arithmetic problem.2 -

Thanks for the clarification. I haven't read all of the OP's threads and posts, but the ones I have read are concerning to say the least.
