Leggings/Tights.

Anybody have a favorite brand of tights/leggings for running? Mine all seem to slide down on me with too much movement. I’ve tried Nike, UA, Lululemon. I’ve tried sizing up and down in these brands with no luck.

I love the USA Pro 3/4 length leggings. For some reason the full length ones from the same brand are horrible and really short (maybe they're meant to be 7/8 leggings? They're still only more like 5.5/8). I'm searching for full length leggings that don't fall down or get that weird gappy/loose bit in the crotch. The only other place I've found full length ones that are half decent is Primark.2

I have always stuck with Nike, maybe look for a pair that have a tie on the inside waist band that you could tighten?1

Sorry off topic but wow is that you in your profile pic? You look incredible. But do you log everything you eat?! I can't imagine looking that good only eating 500-1000 calories. I am interested in how many calories you eat to maintain and what your workout is like!
Thanks!! And oh my gosh no I don't log everything! When I remember to log I usually get breakfast, maybe lunch and then it all goes to pot! I keep track of my weight/measurements and I've maintained for the last year or so without logging properly just having three meals and a few snacks a day so I figure I'm eating about the right amount. I eat more like 1700-1900 a day (not including days around Christmas when we can double that!).
A day might look like: porridge with berries, nuts and honey for breakfast, a pack of popcorn mid-morning, lunch might be a small tuna sandwich with savoury snacks of some kind (today it was pretzels and cream cheese), fruit, a yoghurt and something sweet like a cake bar. Mid-afternoon is ALWAYS a cup of tea and biscuits. Then dinners range from something like a vegetable packed, home made cottage pie to a pizza that takes 15 mins in the oven. Followed by dessert (I'm a chocolate lover through and through although recently discovered belgian sugar waffles topped with honeycomb icecream and sauce....). Drinks wise it's tea (black with milk and no sugar, green and peppermint) or water. I'm not a massive fan of fruit juice except orange juice and don't really like fizzy drinks, milky drinks or alcohol.
My workout is currently non-existent but that photo was taken in Summer when I was more active. Running (well, trying to run...mostly just walking whilst breathing heavily...), yoga and pilates. I've been meaning to give weights a go for ages but can't bring myself to pay for a gym membership!6 -
I got some full length leggings from My Protein today and they fit like a dream! Thick enough to not show you're underwear and they don't feel like they'll fall down. I've looked at the website and they appear to ship worldwide3

I have an old pair of Victoria’s Secret ones that are my fave. They are black and pink. I wish they were all black, high waisted, thick, hold me in, and do not move. They are at least 6 years old and washed and worn weekly but look new. I have no idea what quality their current tights are made to but maybe worth trying? They were not cheap but cost less that lulus if I remember correctly.1

90degree brand at TJmaxx is actually great. Also, swear by Nike tights2

PS- the Lulu “all the right places 2” have the most compression for running. Did you try those?1 -
I've been wearing the same 3 pairs of danskin workout capris for about 4 years and love them! I should probably get some new ones soon, but I'm not sure if I'll love the new designs as I'm not a fan of the new mesh fabric trend1

I've some Victoria seceet plaid leggings I love the feel of. But my cheapest leggings offer the best fit or ones by dance companies like Mondor.1

I've never had issues with Nike Epic Lux, but some of the cheaper Nike leggings do tend to fall down for me when running. H&M running tights also seem really good, bought a couple of those now, and much more affordable.1

Anyone know of leggings that can survive a squat test? Because I check my local Marshall's when I go there, and none have passed the test.1

My wife and her trainer both wear Lululemon and have never had issues and they squat, deadlift, etc...0 -

I’ve been meaning to try sweaty Betty. The lulus I’ve tried are the Tight Stuff ones. Maybe I need a different type. thanks!2 -
Old Navy has some good tights. The high waist especially won't fall down. They have sales a lot too. Active wear goes 50%off quite regularly.3

I mostly wear fabletics high waisted for running. A lot of their new ones have a large horizontal pocket in the back waistband for a phone, which I love. Once I believed I was actually the size I am (kept ordering too big) they stay put. Also have a few different weight fabrics with different levels of compression.
Once it gets hot I tend to switch to shorts. Got some from old navy I really like.2 -
I like the Under Armour compression tights. They work for both my runs and deads and squats.2

Lululemon and Sweaty Betty are great but expensive.
Decathalon are good and cheapish.
I recommend Tikiboo if you are in Europe.0 -
I have three brands I love that I can get at Marshall's and TJ Maxx - 90 Degree by Reflex, Marika and their other line Balance Collection. I have one pair of Nikes. I can run in all but the Balance Collection ones which I think are more geared towards yoga type stuff. The 90 Degree ones in particular I love, I think I have about 8 pairs.0

There's a brand called Lucy (I think they were bought out by North Face) but they make a Core Legging that is amazing! It doesn't slide down or move with running or squatting, even when you have a belly like I do. I highly recommend.1

Girlfriend Collective leggings: the high rise compression ones. Fit like a dream, don't move, incredibly comfy and they are in great shape after two years of constant use. Highly recommend. Their online reviews are excellent too.0

You have a legging gremlin that hides in your leggings and pulls them down while you run. Only obvious answer here.
I know its not the same but I have a pair of Nike like 3/4 length compression/leggings pants that I wear under shorts when I play bball. Never had an issue with them falling.0 -
Second Fabletics and Old Navy. I also have good luck with the C9 Champion compression high-waisted and RBX. All pass the squat test. High waisted seems to be the key for me to have them stay in place.1

I just got a pair of Nike tights that are great. I have a quite bit of tummy floof though so that might help with keeping them up lol.
Have you tried sizing down? (assuming you're not the smallest size) I always feel if they're a bit tighter they have less chance of moving anywhere.

Cotton On Active Core leggings.
They're an Australian brand, but apparently it's available in the US - I have stopped buying my $100+ leggings and now exclusively wear these. They flatten your tummy, never ride down, squat proof... love them!1
