Wow! This is exciting to see so many new participants and some from the past.
I am looking forward to this new year with some goals set for myself. My first goal is to return to my lowest weight of 129 pounds. I know that I need to prelog and track my food consumption. I did pretty well last year maintaining in the 130-133 range until I hit October - December. I did a lot of travel, including 21 days of cruising. While I was active during my travel, my eating habits were indulgent.
Running goals are to complete a half marathon this year and to log at least 600 miles. For me this seems pretty ambitious. A year ago I was worried about completing my first 5k in March 2018.
This is not just a slow journey for me, it is a total life style change with intermittent set backs. My highest weight was 188 pounds. I started this challenge in 2017 to have a way to hold myself accountable. I've recognized the bad habits and misconceptions I had and gained inspiration and encouragement from many. For me the simple CICO (Calories In Calories Out) formula has worked.

This is so typical of me not being aware of my weight: at the beginning of the challenge I posted my weight without weighing myself and I am 15 pounds more than I thought/believed/realized/accepted.

Successes this week: fruit salad daily, walking, stopped eating any gluten free bread and dairy free cheese, finally faced the scale4 -

I would like to be added. I will weigh myself tomorrow and post my stats. I did this last year throught June, and lost about 10-12 pounds, but then I dropped out. And subsequently regained 7 lbs. in the 2nd half of the year from not logging.2
