My clothes are looking better on me.😀36

I have a tote of jeans under my bed that don’t fit, I’ve had this tote for like 5 (or more) years. Some of the jeans in there I’ve never worn because they never fit and I never took them back to the store.
I haven’t done laundry and all my jeans are dirty so I decided to dig those out and give them a try. I only tried on 2, but they both fit! One used to be my favorite jeans until they got to small and they even had a little room in them. You best believe those are the ones I wore!49 -
I was able to carry all the groceries into the house in one trip! 😂33

NSVs (need the motivation this week )
- I haven't had any 'fast food' (McDonalds, KFC, Greggs, supermarket sandwiches etc) for almost an entire month.
- I haven't had any Diet Coke for almost a month
- Avoided fried breakfast at my nana's house and McDonalds when I had to take my mam and little brother there for lunch. Didn't even have my usual cappachino!
My progress has slowed a lot (been sticking to healthy food other than one night off on a weekend - planning on not having a night off this weekend). I am feeling a bit frustrated that what I am doing isn't enough as I feel like I have made so many changes. But no one said it was going to be easy!39 -
The bad news - I fell on the ice this morning. The good news - it was in the parking lot of my gym. After laying there for a few seconds assessing if anything was broken, I dusted myself off and worked out (albeit with slightly lighter weights than usual and running at a slower pace because my ribs are pretty banged up!)46

Tried on my non-maternity pants for the first time in months - they're still way too snug, but they buttoned!!41

I love a good cold weather walk as long as I have a scarf over my mouth. I'm kind of jealous of that temperature, to be honest. Our wind chill this morning was -6F, temperature of 7F. Supposed to snow 9 inches. Not really outdoor walking weather. xD15 -
Since I made the first decision to change my life in 2012, I have lost 90 inches overall between 2012 and 2019. This is hard to fathom, and my inner self wants to cry in disbelief, happiness, and excitement, because I did that. No one else did. Me. And that's worthy of a moment of joyful contemplation.59

In two weeks ive lost 3.25 inches of fat and gained 1.25 inches in muscle. Today has been a good day!

I thought to myself yesterday while running on the treadmill, "I really actually like doing this now".29

Got upset earlier over family issues. Normally this would cause a binge but not today. I refuse to self-sabotage because someone else is trying to make me feel small.36

Bought three pants today.. All size Small. One of the pants was bright red..
I was almost an XL 6 months ago..34 -
I prepared smart snacks for a time when I knew I would be inebriated and would want fatty, cheesy, sugary snacks.
Huzzah for prepping ahead and smart snax!31 -
I’ve reduced by ldl cholesterol by 40 points and increased my hdl by 5 thru diet and exercise.33

Non-scale victory. Where we celebrate all the other wins related to our health and well-being that aren’t a number on a scale11 -

You are awesome! It would have been so easy to let the accident be an excuse not to work out. Hope you aren't too sore tomorrow!9 -
So I've been having no SV and NSV recently, it's been a toughy recently.
And then I finally had a NSV today. So after doing some semi pistol squat exercises in our judo warm up last night, which I was finding fairly easy there, I had just washed my hands in the empty bathroom at work and looked in the mirror and thought I wonder how close I was to be able to actually doing one. And then I just did one on my left leg, and using the wall to balance was able to do one on the right.
I'd never even tried to do one before because I didn't think I'd be able to do it...36 -

The seat on my stationary bike has suddenly become uncomfortable. I’m pretty sure the seat hasn’t changed, so I must have less cushioning in my “seat.” 😀23

Had to wear a suit to work today for the first time in a few months. Suit and shirt made to measurements in July 2017, within 5lbs of that scale weight but fitting a little snug around muscles and across the chest but loose at the waist. I've been feeling like my progress was a little stagnant but my lifting consistency is definitely doing something. Could still stand to trim some fluff but I'll take it.29

Today I decided to go to bed earlier last night and wake up and go to a class at the gym this morning so I could get a good workout in, instead of just a marathon of sleep.
LOVE this!6 -

Love this. This made me tear up 💜
Thank you!!! It was such a great feeling to not immediately want to cry when I saw my own picture. I’m still having to get used to this! 💕💕💕
I love the picture and you look great in it!!4 -
Starting BMI was 45.1, currently it's 30.9! My wedding rings are too big, I had to buy a simple "Placeholder" ring so my hand wouldn't feel weird without a ring
I bought a skinny 1mm ring off Etsy and I just wear it in front of my rings. The others are a bit big but it's kinda fun to wear them that way as a reminder as long as they don't tumble off!12 -
My wife lost her wedding band because her fingers are slimmer.
I bought her a new smaller band for Christmas but she says it's not the same thing.
I told her the marriage is still on even without the old ring.

I was getting dressed today and looked down and noticed how much smaller my tummy has gotten. And while I was putting lotion on my arms I noticed they are noticeably smaller 😁
I keep making small slip ups with my diet but I move on quickly and forgive and move forward. In the past I would completely give in and binge for days and then take months and months off from focusing on living a healthier life. I'm finally making myself a priority!32 -
I just applied to become a cycling ride leader.42

I haven't had any sugar, and very low carbs since January 1, 2019! Pretty proud of myself!26

I'm so happy for you.... on a couple of different levels. Not only do you have the skill to be a ride leader, but now you have the confidence to do it too. Have you ever sat back and reflected on how far you've come in this journey? You're such an inspiration on this forum. And to your family16
