Ran 3 miles in under 30 minutes today! A new personal best for me!34

I fit into a size 14! I was in a size 18/20, didn't even know my size dropped that much until my mom bought a pair of juniors 14s and they were to small for her. She asked if I wanted to try them and when they fit with room I was so excited.40

This will probably sound odd but I have a medical toilet in my bedroom since I don't have a master bathroom and have a few medical conditions that make it necessary. Anyway, I just noticed this morning that when I go to sit down on it, my legs/side of butt don't scrape the arm rests anymore! When I first got it 37lbs ago it was hard to squeeze onto. No I just sat down with no issues! Crazy!34

My seatbelt went around me without issues today. And my belly doesn't touch the steering wheel. Small yet big victories.39

My spouse grabbed my butt this morning and said "Damn, that is firm."36

My hubby told me last night "you're really getting some great back muscles".33

Walked outside for my walk this morning and it was spitting rain 😁 (where I live is in the middle of an ongoing drought, so we love the rain), went to check the radar in the hopes that just maybe it was back up (it's been out since Saturday), nope still down. Normally if I didn't know if there was rain coming I would go back inside and back to bed. (I've got a crappy immune system and am usually prone to colds and flus so dont like to be out in the rain) this morning I told myself that I would still go and if I got rained on I'd have a nice hot shower when I got back home. So I done week 2 day 1 of c25k again. I didn't work on speed this morning, this morning I just worked on getting it done. There was one moment on the way home where the rain drops got a bit bigger and heavier, but nothing major.
No ride or horse work this morning since it was spitting and I didn't want to be getting my shoes clogged up with mud. Will see what this afternoon brings, but I would say the horses will get a few days off while this rain is hanging around 😁14 -
Went to Trader Joe’s. On the wife’s list was Biscotti. Used to eat them and always knew where they were in the store. Had to work to find them.21

I cancelled my BodyPump class this morning.
...because I hiked 18 miles yesterday, felt terrible all week last time I did that and then tried to make the class, and now have enough faith in my new self that I can, occasionally, skip a gym class without fearing that I will immediately become 380 lb and immobile once more.51 -
I slept in instead of working out this morning. I'm a little afraid that I might let this become a habit, thus letting my workouts slip. But I am aknowledging that sometimes listening to your body and taking an extra rest day is the best thing you can do. Since I got a little extra rest today, I hope to have better performance tomorrow.31

I went to my cousin's birthday party this weekend. I haven't seen her in months. She has always been the super healthy, fit, and skinny member in our family. She commented 3 separate times during the party about how great I looked and how much weight I lost. She even asked me what I was doing to look so good. I never thought that my cousin, that I grew up idolizing for looking so great, would ever ask me for weight advice.36

I'm wearing pants from before I had my babies. So, at least 7 years ago. They are linen suit pants and have no stretch or give whatsoever, so they're the real deal. I never thought I would wear this size again.39

My weight isn’t moving, but the non-scale victories are piling up!
1. I look forward to running!
2. I’m a penny-pincher, but I am super excited about my $14 running socks! They are amazing.
3. I started lifting weights again and I like it.
4. The weather finally turned and my 4 year old wanted to ride his bike to the park so I walked/ran with him. I was able to run whenever he wanted to go fast and I never had to tell him to slow down for me!26 -
My wedding ring has been loose for about 6 months now, I could slid it off with my fingers and flip it around, not really thinking about it. As of today, its just fallen off on its own twice. It's even too big for my thumb!21

Be careful, my wife has lost her wedding ring.5

I accidentally threw mine into a dumpster when I was emptying my recycling. There are spacers you can buy until you reach your goal weight and have the ring resized or do what I'm currently doing, wearing a cheap ring until I hit my final weight and purchase a new ring.10 -

Yes, I am constantly afraid I'm going to swing my hand out and its gonna go flying. I went to feed the ducks with my son this weekend and I just had to use my other hand to toss.
That's awesome about the spacers though, I did not know anything like that existed. I'm definitely gonna see about those!5 -

I’ve been on a few dates with a guy and we decided to go to the gym together today.
He’s definitely in better shape than me, but I kept up. We have plans to go tomorrow after work too.41 -

I went to a music festival over the weekend, and forgot to put my Fitbit on before I got there. I realized at 8pm on the dance floor and ran back to my tent to get it. I still managed 12,000 steps before midnight! On Saturday, I did 30,000 steps. The best part about dancing and traipsing between the dance floor and our tent is that it didn't feel like exercise at all!29

I was in a restaurant last night, talking to someone about gravy (of all things). I mentioned that I can't eat onion gravy any more as the onion upsets my stomach and added that I must be getting old.
The woman looked at me and said, "What? Old? You're kidding, look at you, you're completely wrinkle free!". I am no spring chicken and I do have a few wrinkles - I thought more since I'd lost some weight, as the fat no longer acts like wrinkle-filler and I definitely have the "family" bags under my eyes these days. Clearly I am far too critical of my own appearance.
One of the nicest compliments I've received since starting my journey. I walked on air for the rest of the evening.33
