Appetite stimulants anyone?

Anyone taking appetite stimulants to open your appetite and help you eat more.
I’m on a mission to gain weight and being a picky eater doesn’t really help my situation.
I need to know if you’ve tried something what were the results and was it worth it.
Please leave details.
Xoxo

I've tried some appetite stimulant pills for a while, i can say that they dont havs any effect whatsoever.
If you dont eat much per meal try eating many smaller meals spread out over the day.

Caffeine can be an appetite suppressant so maybe cut the caffeine if you drink a lot?

One cup per day, that’s it! If I don’t have my coffee I’m walking miserable zombie lol. Can’t have the kids living with that now lol

Well if drugs are off the table what is left is food.

Make a list of foods you find appealing. Stock your fridge and pantry and carry the sturdier food items with you at all times.

You might also try making up a protein shake with extra oil blended up to sip on through the day.

I agree with another poster to eat small meals frequently throughout the day.

Caffeine is a stimulant drug and may be interfering with your goals.

Caffeine works by encouraging the release of adrenaline.

What follows is a “downer” when the adrenaline is used up. You end up chasing the high with another shot of caffeine.

But you will never get the same high as that first shot of caffeine.

If you can tolerate two weeks of misery without caffeine you will have your natural energy reserves restored.

Instead of stimulants you could always have food you like readily available. That way you have no excuse not to eat it and you can set reminders on your phone to have a snack. Do some research and discover which of your favourite foods are high in nutrients and kilojoules!

I've found that heavy, weight lifting workouts stimulate my appetite. I feel depleted after a workout and my body signals my brain: eat, eat, eat!

I’m actually taking apetamin and it works wonders. I used it once before and gain about 20lbs! You can get it from your local African shop. Look it up on YouTube ☺️

Very skeptical whether it's a legitimate product or not...cyproheptadine is Rx only in the US

Based on the success rate on this board, its pretty low and most don't achieve the desired results (i.e., most the weight goes to their stomach).

Hi I'm new here, I've been trying to gain weight for years. Trying to get some curves and just feel more womanly. Not much has worked in the past. Although i eat loads some days i found it hard to reach a 2000 calorie daily goal.
I have started taking Apetamin 4 days ago it helps boost your apetite. For the last 4 days I've gone over my daily goal, which is great.

As far as the label claims, content, dose, "it is what it is", etc.

How is your digestion? Slow? If food is taking it's time moving through your system, and your system is "full" you wont have much of an appetite. If you get the food moving out more quickly, you'll be hungrier. Improve overall digestion and you should be able to eat more.

if you get it to move quicker that could mean loss of nutrients and so on. of course you will be hungrier. but that doesnt mean you can eat more. digesting is supposed to take a certain amount of time its how the body works. just for some its too slow or too fast due to health issues. improving digestion doesnt mean more calories.

Both?? Omg how do manage to even stay awake. I’ve heard the stories on these both and have experienced the peritol effect but it doesn’t work for me anymore. Unfortunately.... I’m gaining weight slowly by increasing my intake and it’s working for me. U don’t need to take both. I don’t even think that’s healthy but whatever works for you Hun.
