Newbie to dieting

Just started dieting, or watching what I eat to lose about 40 pounds. Have not been able to be very active due to new physical limitations so really have to pay attention to what I'm eating.

    It's easy. Get and use a kitchen scale. Weigh and log everything that you eat. Stay within your calorie budget. Be patient.
