I like to Log food in advance, also. Is it helpful to weigh food? I need to

it is IMPERATIVE to weigh your food. Do not use the "cup" measurements, always use the weight. weigh everything, even your drinks (well - use a cup measure millilitres thing for that), but yeah weigh weigh weigh!!

I'm over 60 too. Weighing is the way to go, you will be shocked at what a portion of cereal looks like! I had success when I weigh stuff, I no longer guess the size of a portion.2
