Weighing food?

I like to Log food in advance, also. Is it helpful to weigh food? I need to
Lose 50 lbs and I am over 60. I am hopeful

    I'm over 60 too. Weighing is the way to go, you will be shocked at what a portion of cereal looks like! I had success when I weigh stuff, I no longer guess the size of a portion.

    exactly this. it was a very sad day for me when i saw how much 45 grams of cereal really is.
