A few years past 50, but staying active. Run, golf, and whatever physical to keep moving. I too have a few more lbs to lose. Nice to hear from you. Much success in your goals.

I need friends who are inspiring and also those that are struggling too. I have lost 20 lbs in 3 months and 35 over 1 year. I cannot figure out how to add people to follow. Help please.1

To add friends: From here on the Message Boards, you click on a person's photo. A gray box appears. Click on person's icon inside the gray box. That will take you to their page. Under their name, you will find the Add As A Friend button. Click. A message will be sent to them. It's polite to let them know how you found them and a little bit about yourself. They will receive your message in their MFP mail and can accept or decline. IF they decline, you will not receive any kind of message from them or MFP. But if they accept, you will be seeing their icon on your page and can communicate there. Hope this helped.1 -
Well over 60, but active and have found that having friends here to be key in staying committed. Nobody understands like someone going through it with you.1

I refuse to put myself in the over 60 since I am but damnit I need to get back where I was! OK anyone want to check up on each other friend me....this is my last time that I'm coming back to this app! I got to get this weight off I feel like crap! Rant over, off to go find something to do!1

I'll be 56 on March 17th! Started my weight loss journey on 3/18/18 and I've lost 30 pounds and built a lot of lean muscle through weight training. I also teach and take spin classes which helps. I honestly did not think that I'd be able to get in this kind of shape at my age, but I'm in better shape and healthier than I was in my 30's. So yes...when people say your age is just a number, I believe it.1

67 year old Aussie here, busy wife & grandmother of four. I was on MFP from 2012, and lost 25 kgs, but 15 kgs have snuck back on when I wasn't looking (what the!!) when I left MFP for a while, and have had to set up a new profile. Looking for some like-minded people for support. Not into cleanses/detox/stuff, just controlled portions of good food, and some exercise (will have to warm up my Misfit shine as well!). Going to start with walking / exercise bike, and maybe some weights, as I remember that was meant to be a good way to get fitter.0

I'm 58, have been here for 4 years, lost 28lbs and found I have to stay here to keep it off...Currently trying to lose the last 7 again. Besides, I'd miss my friends here now if I ever left. Feel free to add me if you interact regularly. I'm active, but more some days than others. I walk all my dogs as my main exercise.0
