for the driver in front of me at McDonalds...thanks for buying my breakfast I was so surprised and moved by what you did.3

To the Mom at school drop off yesterday, who told me what a good kid my son is, who said you’re doing a great job mama, thank you, your words came at just the right time ❤️9

To the other Mom who told me I’m looking hot today, thank you too, it’s always nice when it comes from another woman.6

To my running group peeps, who heard I sprained my ankle pretty badly: It means so much that every one of you messaged me to see if I'm okay and if I need anything. And that 2 of you offered to bring me meals, and that one of you (the physical therapist) offered to look at it and suggest exercises for rehab. I didn't ask anything of you, but you all jumped in and offered support. Thank you.2

My ex husband passed away last September, my kids lost their father. Although I've been doing the best I can to stay strong and trying really hard to not fall appart at times, it's not been easy.
My staff at work put me in a contest a few weeks ago to win a photo shoot with my kids, without me knowing about it. The contestants had to write a story and say why they think the family deserves to win. The story they wrote about me and my family really touched me. We did win and it's not even about winning. What touched me the most is how they noticed how much I'm trying even if I don't talk about it much..because at times I ask myself if I'm doing enough and hope my kids see everything I'm doing. When I read that story it made me see that maybe I'm too hard on myself and I am the best mom I can be. Sometimes seeing yourself through other people's eyes is a eye opener. So I thank them... for seeing everything I do.24 -
My wife and I split back in July after 18 years of marriage and 20 years together and 3 kiddos - I’ve never before felt pain like that and likely won’t again - to my friends and family who called - texted - listened to me complain and moan about the situation offered words of encouragement- I say thanks to them - I have a saying that ‘friends are overrated ‘ and ‘humans will always let you down’ but some of these folks have shown me maybe that’s not always the case .16

No man is an island. Humans are flawed and will certainly let you down at times. But the good outweighs the bad, if you find the right (ie healthy) friends/people to surround yourself with.2 -
Today I wore a tank top with no bra. I walked through a parking lot wearing only a narrow tunic, along with the braless tank, which highlighted my jiggle splendidly. For exactly the man who I thought ought to see it in order to brighten his day. And I'm sure it made an impression and took his mind off his troubles if only for a moment.7

As weird as it can sounds, to the rude and unfaithful people I met in my early life, for making me growing stronger. They had something to do with the self confident person I became, being at ease to stop anyone crossing the line. Sometimes when we fall we stand up stronger.

My puppers had a really bad allergic reaction to a bee sting and my hubby was hours away with the car. I was posting about it on Facebook and a neighbor I once helped offered to drive me all the way to the vet to get meds. A couple months ago I helped her corral her 3 dogs when they got loose on a walk and she wanted to repay the kindness. I was so grateful.5

Sometimes a random compliment or kind gesture can mean SO much and I think we could all do a better job of doing this.
I have had a real bad week, doubting everything I have done for my entire "adult" life, feeling like an enormous failure at so many things and randomly @_Deadman_Walking_ said the sweetest thing to me, having no idea what I have been through. I needed it right then and he didn't even know. Thank you. You have also inspired me to step up my game and brighten other people's lives, even when mine isn't going so well.
When you don't see the sunshine, BE the sunshine ❤☀️5 -

Aww, aren’t you sweet 🙂2 -
Sounds cheesy but my husband and my parents and my kids.
My husband because he pretty much rescued me from a very very bad situation and we moved in together and started our life together and it’s been wonderful and he’s given me my beautiful babies I care so much about. He’s given me everything under the stars and taken care of me through all of my medical issues.
My parents because I mean they’ve gave me life. Gave me a real opportunity growing up, loved me. And still to this day I talk to them on the phone multiple times a day plus we all text in a group chat between my husband, sisters and parents. We are all very close. I see them about twice a week, they’ve taken care of me through all my medical issues even as an adult. They’ve been there through everything. When I was 17 I tried to kill myself and my parents are the ones who changed me into this person I am today. When I cried and cried and told them about bullying going on in school and out of school, they laid with me and cried. They weren’t mad or disappointed in me they were just there for me and felt my pain. They’re always on my team. When I go through my surgeries (going on my 26th surgery) they are there. They drive me to my appointments that are far away because I hate driving. They take care of my kids when I can’t. Been there for my labors and everything. There’s a lot more but just an idea of how amazing they are.
My kids because they showed me what unconditional love and happiness really is. Showed me what it’s truly like to want to give up everything for them, give them everything. If it weren’t for my kids and husband I don’t know where I’d be right now.
There’s a lot more I could add but I think this is enough to show my gratitude for each of them.5 -
As for someone doing something nice for me or complimenting, I’m always super self conscious when I’m out. Just very insecure of how I look. Whether I look fat, or etc. So whenever someone gives me a compliment, I’m always like in a cloud of happiness. No one really knows how happy it makes me2

@tinkerhellraiser I see the love you send me. Thank you. ❤️2

When I was 16 and pregnant one of my high school teachers threw me a surprise baby shower in class one day. It was the kindest, most supportive gesture. So many adults were so rude to me at that of my life, it meant a lot to have someone go out of their way to show support and love to me. So to my grade 11 Foods teacher who will never read this: Thank You! ❤️4

This is one of the sweetest things I’ve heard in a long time. What a gem, that lady is.3 -
My neighbour cooks for me quite often. She gave me a key to her garage fridge and she leaves a note on my door when there is food for me. There really isn’t words to explain her, she’s just an incredible person and I’m really lucky to have gotten to know her. She knows I’m very busy and tries to help with food and I’ve never asked, she just does. Recently my son was inches from being attacked by a mean dog that broke loose. I couldn’t get to my son in time he was on his scooter and already at our house and I was walking about 5-6 houses away. This lady jumped in front of my son and protected him from a 100+ lb Rottweiler. She got hurt, but not too badly, she was okay. I really don’t want to think what could have happened, I’m just really thankful for her.11
