I will continue to weigh daily throughout March. It usually keeps me accountable from having that second helping, knowing that I will be weighing in the morning. I also like to look for trends, so daily weighing.

March goal 169.3 - 5 pound loss, and hopefully into a new decade finally.
February loss was 1.9 pounds
February 28 - 174.8 - burned off mega calories yesterday too, but still up in weight this morning. Low on sleep.
March 01 - 174.3 - I hope for March to be better than February.
March 02 - 173.7 - Unbelievable, I was so disappointed with February, being so diligent about burning lots of calories, eating carefully, and barely losing weight - that last night I had (in defiance) a giant steak, corn, sour cream, potatoes etc., way over my calorie allotment. I truly expected to see a gain this morning.
March 03 - 174.3 - So the steak dinner from Friday shows up?

I don't feel honest about starting this challenge on March 1. Why? Two reasons.
First, I ended the February challenge on the last day of that month, so if I stick to a weekly weigh-in schedule, I'd weigh a day earlier than the challenge dates. That's actually no big deal; I think for the past months I just reset my weigh-in day. No real problem, and in fact it's kind of fun to report on different days of the week each month.
Second, and more importantly, my weight was up almost a pound on March 1 from February 28. It might make it LOOK like a larger loss than I actually experience in March since it was just a fluctuation. I was up 2.2 pounds on March 4 over February 24. March 2 was even worse, but again; it's just a fluctuation. I do report my ten-day average weight, so maybe that would help make it ok, but I don't want to overstate my loss. I've been losing and gaining the same two to three pounds for a while, so with that in mind it doesn't really even matter. Hmmm..... Maybe I'll go ahead and switch it up again and just switch up to Friday weigh-in for March and stick to the plan.

Fitness Goals - Start Piyo 3x a week at least and walk 30 mins every day.
Challenges - Snacking and being sedentary.
Successes: So far I've met my walking. Starting Piyo on 3/6.2 -

Total loss for February: Scale says 2.6 pounds; ten-day average says only 1.6
Total loss for March: Scale says I was UP almost a pound in a day. Ten day average actually says I'm down a third of a pound in that same day. <shrug>.
I'm still a couple pounds over my ultimate goal. I am about ready to revise the goal since I've been maintaining very well at this level that actually is below the goal I set initially when I joined MFP.

Last month pretty much stayed a constant weight, now there is 6ish weeks till head on holiday ahh!

The fluctuations are just part of the journey. An average loss of 2lb per week may look like 3.2lbs, 0.8lbs, 2.0lbs, 1.4lbs, 0.6lbs, etc. If it makes you feel more “honest”, you can include previous months’ losses at the top of this month’s grouping. Over time it’ll clearly show those fluctuations.5 -
