Did an interval run on the treadmill today and did my fastest speed ever! For 45 seconds but still that was the interval and I felt so great afterwards! Don't forget to step out of your comfort zone 😊16

A couple of months ago I bought some jeans in a smaller size for the future. I've been trying them on every few days and today I ripped off the tags and am wearing them!26

This afternoon I found a total thrift gem, a store with racks and racks of newer (secondhand) name brand jeans for $3-8. Since losing a lot of weight I have always fallen between size 10 and 12 so I never know which sizes will fit. I took a mix into the fitting room and then had to come out and get 10s and a couple of 8s. I'm basically maintaining for the past 5 years so this was huge to me because last summer I'd gotten to the point where I was only a few pounds heavier than I am now (like 4-6 lb) but was definitely just going for the 12s.15

I have three 😯- first is that I've been under in my food diary for 7 consecutive days this past week for the first time since before Christmas and second is that I actually lifted 3 times in the week (Body Pump) after not doing a consistent strength workout since November last year! I'd completely lost the drive to do it and was worried that I'd never get back into the routine I'd worked so hard to develop in 2018.
Finally I signed up to my first charity fundraising event as an adult to walk 10,000 steps or more every day in March to raise money for Cancer Research UK! I was in two minds about it and almost didn't go ahead as I was worried that I can't commit to going out everyday but after 2 days I've already raised just over half my sponsorship funds goal and I've surpassed the step goal both days.
(The first two NSV have also led to a long awaited SV but that's by the by here lol).20 -

I've been doing all of my riding in an all purpose saddle since after our memoir barrel race as I wanted to work on balance. I put my mares out after the barrel race for a well deserved break and brought my partner's gelding in to get my fix in the meantime. Breaka is a little spookier than my mares due to the fact that I've never had the time to put into him to help his confidence grow. This afternoon I took him out for a trot and as we were coming along the fence about to cross the dry creek bed a kangaroo went through the fence. The noise it made spooked Breaka and he jumped sideways. I thought for sure I was about to eat dirt, surprisingly I managed to stay on, I did lose 1 stirrup, but managed to stay pretty well centred.
Also I completed week 4 day 2 of c25k this morning 😁 and this afternoon I done (?Did? I suck at grammar) a body weight workout as well.12 -
This is a real NSV - since I was being annoyed at my scale! I've gained a couple pounds since January, still within my maintenance range but definitely a real gain, measured as a trend over time. Every month on the first of the month I photograph myself without clothes so I can see my progress. Couldn't see any evidence of weight regain, measured my waist and it was the same, compared my tummy from different angles, fretted, showed the pictures to my husband and asked if he could see any difference between the two. He says, "Your upper arm muscles are bigger." And they are! I was so busy thinking I must have gained fat that it never occurred to me to even look at my arms. I've been working on the "Bring Sally Up" push-up challenge among other things, for about two months now, and it seems to be making a visible difference! Which is amazing to me, I have a hard time gaining upper body strength.14

The other day I met with my coworker and she was eating microwave popcorn. I told her I appreciated that she didn’t ask me if I wanted any of her popcorn. She said “I did ask you but you said no like you always do so I didn’t ask again.” 😀 The habit is so strong now that I didn’t even remember her asking me! And popcorn is my favorite snack!10

I hit a 295lb bench press max last week. My original goal was 300 when I bought the 300 pound weight set about 15 months ago. Just 5lbs more to go.16

Last May, I was wearing a pair of jean shorts driving to a cruise port. They were so tight I unbottoned them in the car. Not wanting uncomfortably tight shorts on vacation (all the shorts I packed fit the same), I stopped at a store and bought bigger shorts on the way.
Today, I put on those uncomfortably tight shorts. They’re so loose I can pull them up and down without unbuttoning!34 -
I’m in the process of training to run a half marathon, and I think I may have been overworking my legs because I’ve been having some killer knee/hip pain. Instead of giving up or ignoring it and making it worse, I’m taking a week off of running(though I’m not happy about it), and if the rest doesn’t help, will be seeing a physical therapist. The NSV here is that I’m not giving up! I think I’m officially a runner, cuz I haven’t run for a few days and I’m itching for a run!24

@amirahdaboss You should be very proud of this NSV. Not giving up is maybe the most important thing on this journey. Everyone has roadblocks and not letting those derail you is vital to success.10

I finally got to make the switch from "weight loss" to "Maintenance"54

I've gone from 38 waist to 36. Time to buy more pants31

While on vacation, I was shopping with my mom and grabbed 2 small tops without trying them on (I was lazy and the store was about to be closing so I figured eh, if they didn't fit, they would eventually!). I merely eyeballed them and they fit perfectly when I modeled them for my mother and aunt.
Hot diggity!24 -

Great insight, @shunggie!10 -
I went to work today.24

A pair of pants actually buttoned this weekend compared to 3 weeks ago when getting them to button would have taken a crane and a vice grip14

Ran 3.22 miles
Walked 7.87 miles
Cycled 12.12 miles
I Mondays!
(and I never thought that I'd be able to say that)22 -
C25k week 5 day 3- 20 minute jog, no breaks! Slow as a wet week, but I'm totally ok with that, because I jogged for 20 minutes without stopping and I didn't die! Yew! #SetAGoalAndSmashThatSucker #RoadToFit18

I think if I did 1 burpee I would die.7 -
My most recent NSV was the fact that I now fit into a size Large shirt. A comfortable fit!
A year ago, I was pushing 5XL. Today, a Large. I shake my head in disbelief writing this, but I'm glad I got to this point.
WOW! 5 XL JUST last year? Thats quite impressive Ryan! Im soo happy for you..🌹7 -

Thats Great!1 -
Was visiting family and did some touristy things with my hubby. I kept insisting we take our pictures. He was so happy “I’m glad you like getting your picture taken now.” Years of our relationship with no pictures because I was so ashamed of how big I was. Now I’m like “hold on let me just put on a little lipstick”. Oh yeah, I wear lipstick again and spend more time with my hair and make up. Lol and keep my nails done, I look so damn good I just want to gussy up!
Honey I know thats right.2 -

Honey thats big!!! You are not letting another person have control over you in that way and make you fat.5
