  • WOODCHOPS

    Please make sure when doing the woodchops that you are Squatting down and not bending over. This can cause undue strain on the lower back and has the potential to harm your lower back. Your back should be straight at all times and squatting down face forward great posture!

    Water = Check
    Under calories = FAILED
    Squat Kicks = 100 (day 2 and day 5)
    21's = Check (day 4)
    Swimmer Presses = Check (day 4)
    Extra crunches = Check (52)

    I had to move around some of the exercises today because I will not be at home enough to get in the global jumps and tuck jumps. I am going to make myself stay up late enough after the ballgame (minor league, surprising my son) to get in the extra crunches then I will pass out :wink:

    I plan on starting tomorrow with the tuck jumps or the global jumps.... maybe both!?

    ~2 Sets of 20 Tuck Jumps
    ~50 Squat Kicks
    ~20 Squat Kicks in place of globe jumps
    ~4 Miles to add to the team challenge (mostly walking, some running) C25k bout killed me to run tonight from 3 minute to 5 minute intervals now. WILL GET THROUGH IT!
    ~300 Ab crunches
    ~100 Jacks
    ~8 Water
    ~Under calorie goal

    Joyful . . . in . . . the . . . Journey (phew)!

    As of this post - we have done:

    599 crunches
    595 jumping jacks
    10.5 miles

    Also, our team as a whole has lost 63.9 pounds in the month of August!! I think that's pretty amazing!!

    I dont remember if I checked off on Monday or not, but I did everything! And everything for today as well. Sorry not as detailed as usual, but I started back to school myself yesterday and I'm already a little overwhelmed. But I am making the time for the exercises and I'm doing my best to at least let you know I hit my goals for the day.

    i didnt get to do much of anything after work i went to a friends house whos husband died I just got back
    so i did my logging of food under calorie goal
    I had all the water
    2 sets of 20 Tuck Jumps, 50 Squat Kicks,
    20 Globe Jumps
    And i did it pretty fast so i dont think i had great form but i did sweat a little.
    I will do better tomorrow because i dont have to work. Im gonna make up for lost time.

    Under on calories today (barely!), drank all my water and did the following:
    55 ab crunches (I do them in sets of 5, so I finished the set)
    50 squat kicks
    30 Swimmer presses
    40 zig zag hops

    Sorry, didn't do anything today. I did stay under calories and drink my water, but I had a crazy busy day and didn't have the chance to do any exercise. I am going to have some serious catching up to do later in the week. Good news is that I have a bike ride scheduled with a friend tomorrow evening, so I should be able to rack up some miles. :)

    Really sorry, i was at work till 5, i went out with the girls for a meal at 6 and didn't get in till 10.30pm, really gutted i let you down, will make up for today

    I wasn't very good at these either... only four before I thought "this can't be me doing them right". Let me know what I can do in place of them.

    I will be taking my rest day today. I will do my 52 crunches but that is all. I will make sure I get everything taken care of during the rest of the week.

    Also, I just found out that if we are going to change the name of our team for the September Challenge to something more "tribal", I have to let Gary know by this Friday .... so please let me know if you want to change the name of the team and what you wanna change it to....

    Trying to catch up as much as I can tonight. Here is where I am at, for now. I have to stop and get ready for my bike ride, then I'll be back for more later. But I want to get this logged so I don't forget what I did! :)

    Windshield Wipers - Done. Finally got them done, had to split them into 4 sets of 10, instead of 2 sets of 20, but they're done.
    200 jumping jacks - puts my total @ 350 out of 500 promised.
    100 crunches done - puts me @ 100 out of 500 promised.

    Crap i did the wrong exercises on the wrong day agian. Can i just do todays tomorrow? and tomorrows today?

    and i did reg exercise today in addition to walk 1.5 miles and i ran 1.8 miles
    and i did sit ups. I was making up for not exerciseing my reg yeaterday for today. lol

    Sorry I didn't log in yesterday...it's been a heck of a week so far!!! Two fights between some of my students (not in my classroom thankfully, but one in the cafeteria and the other in the principal's office. Both boys are in my 3rd period -- can you tell which period has all my behavior problems????) But...

    Tuesday:
    water - ck
    under calories - ck
    exercise: 100 jacks; 25 ab-crunches.......none of the rest

    Wednesday:
    water - ck
    under calories - ck
    exercise: 3 miles walk/run for challenge; 100 team jacks; 50 team ab-crunches.......also, 3-21's from Monday; squat kicks for Tuesday; tuck jumps for Tuesday; split squats for today and wood-choppers for today. Too sore to try the glob trotters .... I'll get them in tomorrow........ I also had my first Zumba class today, so I'm worn out!!

    btw: I'm still in the Biggest Loser Season One!!! Woo hoo.... this is definitely helping =)

    10.5 miles on my bike for the team.

    150 jumping jacks
    400 crunches
    4.5 miles

    I might do a little more a little later. I'm so exhausted from those Tuck Jumps and Woodchops that I could just collapse now. Need a break! lol
