Safe approach

Hi!I'm looking to slim down/tone up a bit, since I'm not happy with where I'm at right now.
However, having had an eating disorder I want ro be cautious of the way I do it.
I'm currently around 128 lbs and 5"7, about a year ago that number was more around 120.
I know weight doesn't mean everything, but I have noticed fat gain. I see it and my clothes are tighter/some jeans barely fit.
I average about 10k steps daily and want to make it a habit again to workout at least 3x/week. I don't enjoy the gym however, so these workouts will be bodyweight.
Right now I have my calorie goal set 1800.
Would this be a good approach? Maybe anybody else who is/has been in a similair situation?
My focus is not necessarily weight, but rather fitting into my clothes as I used to and feeling good about myself.

Since you are at a healthy weight for your height, I would focus on body recomposition. So eating at maintenance and lifting to build muscle. See this thread

Also you want to follow a program, especially if you are doing a bodyweight program

Good luck and tread carefully. If you are having any issues and feel like your ED is coming back, do not hesitate to contact your treatment team.5 -
