What I eat to stay fit?

Small sample of what I eat to stay fit. I include fiber and protein at every meal(protein waffles and air fryer chicken, spinach corn salad and protein bars).

So... you give all of your money to Quest?
You can get better nutrients without the fillers for a lot cheaper.37 -
I love my buff bake gluten free protein cookies but I couldn’t even imagine eating a supplement at every meal. It’s a supplement so I use it when I’m low on protein that day or craving something sweet but want to also make sure I grab something that will help me reach goals.
I stay fit eating a balance of whole foods with some treats mixed in and staying within my macro & calorie goals13 -
Those quest products are so good, plus you get the perks of getting your protein in.16

Looks like a body builder's diet to me! How many calories do you consume daily?11
-
That seems like both an exhausting and expensive way to eat. But if you enjoy it, good for you. I prefer to eat diet of a variety of foods I can buy at the supermarket.26

Where are all the fruits, vegetables and that other fresh produce? I love a yummy protein bar to supplement my diet but couldn't image eating them with every meal (nor could my budget). Most of my protein comes from things like dairy, meat, eggs, legumes and nuts. I get more than enough fibre with my fruit and vegetable consumption alone.20

My friend gave me her air fryer and chicken in it is becoming a staple for me. I couldn't do all the bars and "products" though, I don't find them very filling.5

Your spinach corn salad looks good. Care to share your recipe?3

Eat to stay fit or workout to stay fit? Or are you talking about what you eat to maintain your training schedule? Mind you, the vast majority of people here (likely you included) don't need to do anything particularly special to maintain their workouts from a nutritional standpoint. More protein and/or carbs, fueling properly, etc. But not to the extreme that you appear to be going to.
And yes, that's a ton of quest products and a sheer lack of produce. Also not a whole lot of variety, but then again there are people who are fine eating grilled/poached/sauteed boneless skinless chicken breast for lunch and dinner most days of the week.4 -
Looks like too much money spent on not enough value. Less quest product, more real food.16

Air fryer is all I use now. Saves me a lot of time.2 -

Cheaper than a medical bill.17 -

Cheaper than a medical bill and giving it all to a doctor.17 -

I use blue berries and raspberries in my oatmeal protein smoothie.5 -

Why would industrial crap (my opinion) prevent you from getting sick? Fresh fruits and veggies, good quality meat and fish, artisan bread, starches... I think I would be depressed if what you eat was on my menu.23

I'm happy with my nutrition. Keeps me full of energy to maximize my fitness performances.

Just FYI, how you look doesn't say anything about your health or even necessarily how nutritious your diet is.
Luckily, you don't have to eat a lot of branded protein products or calorie free dressings to be healthy or to stay fit. But if that's working for you and you can afford it, that's great!26 -

There are cheaper ways to avoid that...significantly cheaper. Your palate, and your wallet, will thank you. Also I don't think you understand the idea that eating xyz foods doesn't mean that you'll be fit. Exercising will increase your fitness, but eating in a specific way or buying Quest products will not.17 -
You don't eat to stay fit, you exercise to stay fit. You eat to stay nourished.
That said, that's a whole lot of Quest products, why not just eat real food?17 -

This.
Quest does not give some magical nutrition. There are far cheaper and more nutritious ways to get protein, and a lack of produce is not exactly the picture of health.15 -
this kind of post is disheartening for newbies. If any are reading this i hope they listen to everyone saying normal food is nutritious and all they need. No one has to buy all these overpriced protein products. And i highly doubt they are even that healthy let alone can be argued to stop doctors being necessary...?Its all very highly processed meant to supplement not live on.
If it works for you cool but i hope you dont make anyone think this is required25 -
Well...I think those boxes are bright and colorful. I bet they look really pretty in your cabinet.
Those waffles however...they are on the dark side. I can't be eating any burnt waffles. I did oatmeal and pumpkin waffles this past weekend. They turned out a really nice pretty color of desert orange.7 -

Looks like he added something to the batter, probably protein powder0 -

I believe there was a misunderstanding. My original message says small sample of what I eat to stay fit. I eat real food. Quest protein bars helps keep me from wanting high sugar sweets. I eat quest product twice a day. I'm also a weekend Vegan. Sometimes just a one day Vegan. Got to start slow.

The waffle are not burnt. I added special dark chocolate cocoa and Nutrex Muscle Infusion Advanced Chocolate Protein to the waffle mix. I only eat waffles when I plan to run 10 or more miles the next morning.3 -

Yes a protein powder and special dark chocolate cocoa.4
