When you workout at home...

I'm either barefoot or wearing my VFFs... which is pretty much barefoot0

Barefoot for everything but plyo. I guess I'm more concerned about wearing down the carpet than protecting my feet!0

Always in trainers except for my yoga workouts. I fear I'll damage myself with the high impact I do particularly as any weight you carry will impact your joints greatly. I'd rather not run the risk of severely damaging myself when just wearing trainers provides me with comfortable support.
Plus the resistance of carpet on trainers means I have to work harder. How can that be a bad thing!0 -
I wear tennies - can't do plank position stuff barefoot. If it's yoga, though, I'm barefoot.0

I wear shoes for everything but the yoga & stretch type stuff that I do.0

I usually start out with shoes on but I end up kicking them off about half way through. I have yet to make it a whole workout without being bothered by shoes and my feet. I have flat feet and while I have good shoes and wonderful arch support insoles they still make me made and I like bare foot....then again I have ALWAYS enjoyed being barefoot since I was very young. The bottoms of my feet are like leather0

The only time when I don't wear shoes is when I'm doing yoga or stretching.0

I used to wear shoes when I work out, but I had an epiphany a few months ago and have gone barefoot ever since. My ankles and knees have gotten a lot stronger since they're not depending on shoes for support and I also have better balance. I abhor shoes, so I'm glad I don't need them unless I'm outdoors.0

Glad to know I am not the only one that hates wearing shoes! lol0

I don't wear shoes with a lot of my workouts at home that involve weight work.0

It depends on the workout fr me, really. For TurboFire/Jam/Kick, yes. Weight training, yes. INSANITY or plyometrics, yes. So "standard" workouts, I'm in my comfy Nikes. For yoga, dance, stretching, balance work or things of that nature, I generally don't wear shoes. I have carpet at home though, so I slip easily. Back in college, I never wore shoes for my cardio workouts, but my feet would grip a little bit easier on our hardwood floors.0

I wearshoes when I workout inside. I notice my ankles and knees hurt if I don't. We have Italian tile so if I was on carpet I would probably go barefoot.0

My ankles twist easily so unless it's yoga I wear shoes0

For my Turbo Fire, and yoga workouts I don't wear shoes. No mattter what pair I've tried my feet end up cramping and I just can't finish a workout with them. I do wear my crosstrainers when I do Chalean Extreme and when I'm lifiting weights. I'd hate dropping a weight on a barefoot.0

I always have shoes on, ever since I broke my pinkie toe catching it on the leg of a sofa during a particularly uncoordinated dance move...but thats just me, clumsy...I also broke one of my lightshades doing an overhead stretch!:laugh:0
