Hey guys, total noob here. I thought I’d give this macro counting thing a go. I know a couple of people that do this and they look great!

What I've learned about IIFYM is that it takes some trial and error. The best thing I found to help is to pre-log my entire day. Then I can see that I'm going to end up short of protein (it's almost always protein. Sometimes fats, but usually protein. Never carbs!
) and can make adjustments.

For me I worked out what the minimum recommendations were for my Protein & Fat intake, and then worked out what split helped me feel full.
So whilst my minimum Protein & Fat is 87g (348 calories)/66g (594 calories) respectively.
I actually aim for around 120g Protein (480 calories) /90g Fat (810 calories) and let the rest fall by carbs. I look at these as averages over the week (week view in nutrition).2 -
I’m winging it at the moment! Whilst it’s working I’m always massively over my carbs 😩 it really is trial and error!0
