I turn 27 in three days. Today I'm wearing a size 0 dress I bought to 'slim into' when I was 21!30

My BP being 119/79 for the first time in decades!!22

Today I felt like a runner. I was doing C25K on a treadmill in January and got to week 5 then broke my toe. I started back week 1 today but running outside in hilly neighbourhood, and I loved it, wanted to keep running on walk breaks and hardly broke a sweat. I was passed by other runners and felt a sense of belonging. I’m a long way off being a proper runner but felt like it’s within touching distance. Also pleased the fitness I built up in the gym hasn’t gone completely to pot when I’ve been unable to workout. Can’t wait for my next run, I think the bug has finally got me lol19

Low BP win! I just had a lowered BP win today too! Got checked at the dentist and I was 112/78.10 -
My nsv today is just taking the time to find my food scale (technically my sister helped me find it, but it is something I have been putting off) and actually weigh my food. I haven't bothered weighing out my portions so far in this attempt at weight loss, but I have been eyeballing my portions for the most part and I think it has been really slowing me down of late.15

Sorry, couldn't let this one lie.
You choose to run, therefore you are a runner.
Times, distances, size and shape, everything else is irrelevant.
Climbs off hobby horse and wanders off.....21 -

And let's broaden that out: If you plan and work to improve your physical performance, you're an athlete: Own it.
I hate to read "I'm not an athlete, but . . . ."

I went for a check up at the Dr's and for the first time ever I wasn't overweight or underweight, I was just right my blood pressure is perfect too so nice to come away feeling healthy!20

So I was drying my hair and I had flipped it upside down, bent over to form my curls and I noticed that there is starting to be a tiny tiny gap between my upper thighs. A couple of months ago it was a tight shut xD19

One of our vendors at work sent out an invite to all staff for free zipline rides at an event this summer.
From about 50 people, only 6 of us were unafraid and under weight limit. I'm included in those six. I love this because 7+ years ago I would have been very afraid and very much over the weight limit as well.32 -
I feel like my NSV are just piling up lately:
It seems everyday I'm adding another piece of too big clothes to my Goodwill box.
I'm wearing a pair of white pants that I haven't worn for over 10 years.
My legs look amazing in shorts!
And I can't stop staring at my belly. It's still a little fat but man it seems like half the size it used to be.
Woo!22 -
I just bought a size 16 Kate Spade dress to wear to my daughters college graduation next week. Most of my friends would probably die if they had to wear a size 16 dress but I'm psyched!! Could it be I won't be shopping in the plus size department??? I can't believe it!!29

Love the inspiration!2

I finished week 5 day 3 of C25K today. It includes a 20 minute jog. I FINISHED it.30

And according to my unscientific Google research, Kate Spade actually runs a little small so you're doing super great!14 -

That is one of my weird pie-in-the-sky hopes...... thigh gap. good work!8 -
Today I ordered food at a food truck, sat next to it on a very busy shopping street all alone, ate my meal and didn't freak out (well at least not too much) about people seeing me eat. This may sound very weird but it's such a nice small victory for me. When I was morbidly orbese I avoided eating out. I would do it in a restaurant sitting in a small corner with friends but out in public (alone!!) on a busy street where hundreds of people could see and (in my head?!) judge me? Hell no. But today I did it. Yay. \o/
Also I went shopping and tried on many dresses and didn't feel horrible. Some looked even nice (and they actually fit ) I didn't buy anything, because I wanna wait 'til I hit my goal weight before I buy new (awesome) clothes. However it was still nice trying on a bunch of stuff and see that I at least already look better in dresses than a year ago.38 -

What a great day and NSVs!6 -
Started wearing some pajama pants I found in my closet that were way too tight to wear a while back.19

I can see my feet as I go down the stairs. So, THAT’S where they’ve been!25

Three years ago I had an ACL surgery on my left knee. When I restarted losing my weight in late March the differences between left thigh&right thight and left knee&right knee were over 1.5cm. After a month of losing weight and sporadic weight training, right now they are only 0.5cm different!19

Love this thread!! So motivating!

I'm currently on vacation, but my friends and I decided to do a nice hiking trail the other day. Well little did we know it was actually a 10+ hour roundtrip hike that included many many stairs, bouldering, and use of every muscle.
Even though there were a lot of times that I wanted to give up, I finished it! It's been three days since and my body is still very sore, but I did it!36 -
Got another Garmin bump in the VO2 Max department.

YES! I was gonna say this too based on personal experience. Both Kate Spade and Banana Republic, I wear a 14. I wear 10 and 12 everywhere else.7 -
Finally gave away my fatboy clothes to Goodwill yesterday. Today , I finally went shopping for new clothes. I’ve never developed a joy of clothes shopping so it was work. Went by myself.
$388.39 and three stores later, I’m the proud owner of two pair of new shoes, two pair of Van Huesen dress kaki’s, two pair of Levi athletic-fit jeans (no more of the relaxed fit cut necessary) and three Van Huesen ling-sleeve shirts. Could have gone for a smaller size on the Levi!s but don’t like the feeling like my crotch is in a straight jacket.
Also got a haircut. Life is good and I’m blessed.38 -
After almost a year and losing over 80lbs, I hit goal today. I did the happy dance I've been looking forward to for so long! 😄 My NSV was that I went to the supermarket this afternoon, filled up my basket and didn't buy a single treat! Not because I didn't want to reward myself, but because I didn't want to use food as a reward and I really want to make a success of maintenance!39

Life is good, isn't it?
I went Thursday and bought a selection of clothes AT Goodwill (probably not yours ) I'm wearing one of the shirts right now, it looks so good. I haven't been wearing shirts that fit, because we don't have a lot of money for clothes right now. I found a pair of Gap washable wool work pants that look fantastic on me and a few other workwear pieces.
It does feel good to get new clothes. I am also feeling blessed24
