I want to be smoking hot and pose as a pin-up holding knitting with a caption that says, "Grandma and her knitting."
When I was younger I thought pin-ups were terrible. I guess turning 50 changes you. LOL
My petty reason at the moment is a family holiday in August. I've never been the largest out of my group of friends, but I am out of my extended family.
1. I don't want to be the fat executive that works for a sports team where pretty much everyone is in moderately decent shape if not an athlete (currently I'm the fat executive that works for a sports team where everyone is in moderately decent shape if not an athlete)
2. I like to shop designer second hand - I want to be able to buy more than just handbags and sunglasses
3. I want to be in better shape when I turn 40 then I did when I turned 30

Yes on the designer second hand. The best stuff is always size S or XS (probably because fewer and fewer people can fit into those sizes!).
- To get the man I've been dating casually for 1.5 years to look at me as a keeper.
- Fit into my cute wardrobe again and look good this summer
- to look better and weigh less than my snobby "friend" who likes to always point out that I am fatter (by 20lbs) *Healthy competition.
- to do a lingerie photo shoot and LOVE it
To be able to do things that have a weight limit that I currently exceed (like ride a horse)
To not have an issue with airplane seatbelts - I’ve actually never had a problem with this AT ALL until last November and it was embarrassing and uncomfortable cause let me tell you I 100% sucked it in and maneuvered myself until that stupid thing buckled without an extender.
Either the clothes, or to piss off my sister (who thinks she's the pretty one, bc God forbid more then one family member be attractive? But she deadass went on a diet after our mother had wls bc her spot was being 'threatened'), not sure which comes out on top.
I'd like to weigh less than my husband (within reach now) and I'd really like someone to say to me "you're looking a bit thin - maybe you should stop now!"
My sister lost a bunch of weight several years ago and my aunt/uncle/cousin all oo’d and ahh’d at her when my sister and I went to visit them. I had lost more than 20 pounds but nobody gave me any compliments. Next month the same aunt/uncle/cousin - who live in a different state and who we haven’t seen in several years - are coming here to visit my sister and I will be there also. I want some compliments this time.
My oldest son is getting married in October. I hate having my picture taken the way I look now, so I want to not shy away from the photographer at his wedding.
Because growing up I’ve always been the “gross ugly chick” who people didn’t want to be seen with. It’s weird I’ve already noticed a difference of how I’m treated only just being halfway through my weight loss journey alone.

You're not ugly. At all.
