Don't forget the make easy for yourself (as easy as possible while changing things for the better).
Don't give up things. Find alternatives that suit your goals and satisfy you enough that moving forward they will displace previous "go to's" that are less suitable.
Do not aim for too large of a deficit that makes you feel miserable or famished or barely hanging in there.
Do experiment and stay engaged, flexible, and ready to step over sacred cows!!!
Your start is actual excellent. Regardless of how you feel.
Btw: weight trend apps are a thing of beauty and so are "before" pictures when you look back later!1
