06/02 …..195.6 ….. First weigh-in after travel. Using this as my Round 78 ending weight & Round 79 starting weight. It is slightly up from prior weigh-in. Lots of work to do today to catch up after being gone. Sundays are always busy at the cabins after most guests leave. I slept very well last night and am ready for the day. I will be overworked today & exhausted later, but I am committed to cooking myself a good meal to use up some acceptable veggies before they go bad. Feeling strong today & glad to be home! All is well with my family.

Recovering from abdominal hysterectomy and benign tumor removal on 4/02/2019. I see a nutritionist since my activity is low to non-existent with 12 week recovery. Round 78 was my first round and I enjoyed the accountability and reading everyone's posts. I'm looking forward to round 79.

06/02 - 181.2 - I had a 2.2 lb loss on my first round. I have areas to improve and weekends tend to be the most challenging for me. I'm slowly getting used to being back at work and need to increase my stamina to walk in the evening.

Round 8! I'm looking forward to walking outside more this round. My goals are to track at least 10,000 steps a day, drink at least 45 oz of water (not including non-calorie drinks like coffee or Coke Zero), and weighing in one pound less than I did at the beginning of the challenge.

35th Round for me: Female 66, height 5’ : Decided 3 rounds ago to start posting in the evening. Guess I had trouble making that switch 
Goals this round: Get back to the 150’s by cutting the LNS. I’m getting a lot of exercise these days landscaping in the yard but tend to come in tired and sore and LNS my way through the evening. House is untidy because I’m always outside and also my office is still torn apart waiting for me to finish painting. So today am doing a reset and getting the basics done in here. Still want to try posting in the evening (after today) but if that doesn’t work will switch back to morning. We are planning to go away as soon as youngest daughter has her baby – she is due today but I have a feeling it will be at least the end of the week. So I will likely miss the end of the Round. 06/02 - 136.1 (-0.7) - still expect fluctuations. I am feeling bloated and retaining water. TOM weight should shed in a few days or so. Food was healthy and within cals, exercise cardio (lots of it) and strength training, 16 glasses of water. Staying on track regardless of the scale. My body shows a lot of changes even though the scale doesn’t reflect them.

Goal: Maintain between 135 and 140 lb. and increase muscle mass
I started Round 54 and Keto WOE on September 24, 2018.
Cumulative weight loss for Rounds 54-70 = 44 lb.
I started and finished the last few rounds below my maintenance range. I’ve grown accustomed to the keto WOE and, mostly, stick to that, but I add extra carbs when I’m under 135, which is almost daily. I’m in my third week of a strength training program. I already feel stronger. My loose skin may be irreversible, and, if so, I’ll strive to be content with being strong and feeling good.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.Stick with the process. It DOES work! But it does take time, effort, and most of all, patience!- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Back again 35th Round for me: Female 66, height 5’ : Decided 3 rounds ago to start posting in the evening. Guess I had trouble making that switch
Goals this round: Get back to the 150’s by cutting the LNS. I’m getting a lot of exercise these days landscaping in the yard but tend to come in tired and sore and LNS my way through the evening. House is untidy because I’m always outside and also my office is still torn apart waiting for me to finish painting. So today am doing a reset and getting the basics done in here. Still want to try posting in the evening (after today) but if that doesn’t work will switch back to morning. We are planning to go away as soon as youngest daughter has her baby – she is due today but I have a feeling it will be at least the end of the week. So I will likely miss the end of the Round. 06/02: 145.7 Had been bouncing around from 145.8 to 147.x last 10 days week so happy to see a drop again. Today was my "rest" day but still did a slow routine on the elliptical using the Zone app to target HR, then lots of stretching and some ab routines. Swam a couple of laps (actually feeling better getting in a bathing suit in public) and realized that default workout app in Apple Watch does not track laps with a kick board, so looking into alternatives. Still trying to loosen up quads after the HIIT workout yesterday, so won't be surprised if weight does not go down or actually goes up tomorrow! Ate well today - dinner was grilled grouper, homemade guacamole & chips (measured to control carbs!), cabbage slaw with pumpkin seeds and rose.
