Success/ struggles of the week/month: i wish i had a better control of my cravings for sweets and peanut butter. Kids visiting somehow ends ip being free gor all to me, although this time i didn't even add any extra treats to our stash, almost none, lol. Anyway, going to try to limit snacks a bit to come back down to my preferred weight. I saw 142-143 for a few days and it went up shortly, can't seem to make it stay there. Wishing everyone a good week, and hopefully we will continue this thread. It helps me too.

Successes/struggles: Major struggle this week is a nasty injury. I fell while running and injured both knees, shoulder and elbow. Activity down as a result and I’ve really struggled on sedentary calories! But I’m still within range and healing nicely so fingers crossed I’ll be back to my usual routine soon.

    Have a good week x

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: It's been another gorgeous week outside and I've tried to take full advantage after a wet and cold spring, averaging way more steps than usual. Still drifting down a little, but with a 2-week vacation coming up at the beginning of July that will involve being more sedentary (driving) than usual, as well as opportunities to enjoy a few different regional cuisines, I'm not going to make any major corrections.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: A fairly quiet week, with a day out on Friday which ended with a meal out in a pub. I had a really nice salad, very unusual in a pub, they are often very poor with too much oily dressing and cheap and nasty coleslaw.
My weight has continued to drift down over the last couple of months since I hit my “goal weight” of 50 kg. But I feel good and my BMI is still over 20 so I’m happy with it. I may increase my protein intake to protect muscle strength.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: I celebrated my 5th anniversary with my boyfriend this weekend, so we went to a beautiful restaurant to have an awesome lunch. I tried to choose a healthier option and it didn't do much damage either. :) My weight was pretty low this whole week just to jump up 0.5 kg for Monday morning, but I didn't really care about it. :) I won't freak out from 0.5-1kg up or down anymore... This is my biggest success for now :D

Success of the week: I have been trending up a bit lately, but I kept it within my maintenance range.

Struggle of the week: The last half of may was a struggle - I don't like being so close to the top of my maintenance range. A couple of days I was less than a half pound from going over, and my trend looks like I'm gaining.

Success/struggles of the week: Not very happy☹️... I've been workingout consistently and hard for 2 weeks, no drinking, and my eating is totally spot on... And I've GAINED weight. I'm now over my range. It's so demoralising because I don't actually know what more to do, except just wait it out and carry on. Any advice would be very welcome if anyone's for some insight!!

Ps- as I'm only 1lb over my range I've decided to keep tracking here, unless it creeps way higher. 😉

You said you've worked hard for 2 weeks. Does this include new exercise? That can cause water weight gain due to muscle repair.

@firecat1987 yeah, some are new moves, but I'm also just coming back from a workout break in general, so even my usual stuff is new-ish again.
I've been reading and found out it might be the repair/water retention from getting back into training.

It's just weird that it's never happened before after a break. Hmm.

Successes/struggles: Almost healed from my injury last week and managed to get back into things with some exercise every day since Monday. Generally doing ok with food choices but still need to be careful about restricting too much to bank for weekends or special events because if I get too hungry I don’t make the best decisions!! Like yesterday when I did a 10 mile run before work, didn’t eat enough all day and then got into the treats last night. Still under calorie goal for the week but I didn’t feel like it was a planned and enjoyable indulgence. Still striving for a bit more balance in maintenance.

Have a good week everyone x

@faebert Still striving for a bit more balance in maintenance. This! I think my goal is for my 'maintenance way of eating' to become as normal for me as my bad eating patters were before I started this process. Not there yet, but can see progress happening.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: A good, active week. Lots of activity has meant needing to refuel, and while I've done a pretty good job of eating near goal, it tends to be catch-up at the end of the day/week. I'm not that concerned, given I'm on point with hitting protein and other nutrition goals, but it would probably be wiser to spread it out more.

Looking ahead, I'll be starting a new job in a bit over a month that will involve long night shifts. Beyond the impact on sleep, I know that exercise on those days will be a lot more challenging, and I'm thinking about ways to adapt.

@Faebert Glad that you're feeling better - I know it must be a relief to be able to get back to your usual routine!

    Have a great week, everyone!

    June 7 Avg 154.56 Trend: 154.65

Average in 2019 so far: 153.42
    <153? No

Successes: Tracking all, getting more sleep by changing habits slowly, wt lifting 6/7 days, feeling leaner & stronger, cut sodium back, things are good.

Challenges: working to figure out what I should be eating with vastly increased weight training & Ex bike versus 10-11K steps a day.

Wt is up .6lb in 159 days, clothes fit, but I’m above 153. Figuring muscle gain is worth it. Cautiously watching the whole constellation.

After 6 weeks, Looks like My deficit is 100-125 calories too low per day. Am adjusting...

Things I need to improve in June:
Continue to make baby changes to get more sleep

Trim a few calories each meal.

I hope you all have a great week’

Struggles this week: Food has been my struggle. The licks and bites. But though the scale says otherwise, I have been improving with my eyes open. I am not doing as good a job as I would like with stretching.
Successes: I have done better in the gym. More full body type work outs with sprints. I started the 30 day shred and convinced another family member to try it with me. I am hoping the weight gain is water and new muscle formation. I have hope.

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: Another quiet week at home with a day out on Wednesday – to the theatre in Bath. We finished the day with a meal at our favourite Chinese buffet restaurant. Lots of delicious food including dessert. We had friends round to dinner on Saturday evening so I had three days of lots of activity – housework, cooking, even mowing the lawn (before it started raining). The net result is another small weight loss.
I think I'm still in weight-loss mind set and finding it difficult to let go.
However, I'm away in the motorhome again this week, so that will be another test.
