Hey everyone.
First time I've ever done anything like this. I've had the app 3 days now.
Trying to lose the belly fat because I look like I'm pregnant!
I've been a skinny guy all my life and therefore never had to exercise. But then I hit my mid-thirties! And we all know how that goes.
I'm 42 now and finally decided to try to get rid of bowling-ball stomach.
I'm 163 pounds and want to get down to 150. I've been working out since May 19th.
I haven't really seen much change in my weight so far.
I find that I'm, according to what the app says, eating about 250 - 300 calories short of what I should be each day. But I've always been a light eater (just a really unhealthy eater).
Anyway, hope everyone is well and enjoying their journey to getting healthier.
Have a great night.

Hi there and welcome!

welcome.
if you used MFP set-up you should not be eating "250-300" under the number it gave (assume you selected "lose weight". it gives you the number TO LOSE at the requested rate. Ensure to select 0.5lb/week rate of loss if you are only looking to lose a few pounds.
We can't spot reduce, for many the stomach is the last weight to go and sometimes requires being quite low on the scale unfortunately. You may want to read up on recomp VS weight loss

here is a great post on how to get started (weight loss)

use a food scale, especially close to go. small errors matter

and eat a reasonable estimate of your exercise calories if using MFP calculations
