My therapist suggest that I have a large brunch and light snack for dinner since I work 2pm-10pm. So those would be my only meals for the day. Would this help me lose weight?

Weight loss happens when you are in a calorie deficit. The number of times you eat eat day and what time you eat have nothing to do with weight loss.9

I understand that. I’m asking since I’m eating less meals a day and healthy meals at that, will eating only twice a day cause me to stall in weight loss?1

You have to count the calories. If eating this way puts you in a deficit then you will lose weight. If you are eating at maintenance your weight loss will stall and if you are eating at a surplus then you will gain weight. Like @apullum said, you have to be in a deficit to lose weight. What time you eat and how many meals you have is irrelevant.6

Eating fewer meals and eating "healthy" don't have anything to do with weight loss. If you take in calories equal to or greater than the calories you burn, your weight loss will stop and you might even gain. If you're consistently in a calorie deficit, you will lose weight. The number of times per day you eat has nothing to do with weight loss.9
