Weeding is hard work and N.E.A.T. exercising. It could have been so much easier to weed whack outside and/or put weed killer on the weeds...pulling all the millions (okay, I'm exaggerating about there being a million weeds, let's say 500,000 weeds all around the house) BY HAND, is so so old school and makes me feel like a 1st class champion. No longer doing/thinking/being an "all or nothing" type is so freeing. Little by little, step by step, slow and steady will slowly but surely win the race. Making myself do the right thing in every area of my life is totally life changing. Taking the bull by the horns and doing what MUST/NEEDS to be done (AND WITH JOY THAT I DON'T HAVE TO...I GET TO DO THESE THING) in eating, drinking, exercising and THINKING is hard, but so not impossible. Such an NSV...such a "good thing"--BOOM!
Yup, one little NSV at a time!! Nice. 👏👏👏

My fiancee bought me a tank top for Christmas two years ago, and it was significantly too small on me. Pulled it out because laundry day, and it's actually kinda loose now.14

I injured my knee and back almost 6 weeks ago. I've been feeling kind of frumpy since I haven't been able to do anything at the gym. I was going 3-4 times a week and was really seeing results. Just when I was starting to get depressed, not one, not two, but three of my co-workers gave me compliments on how wonderful I look today. So I guess it's all in my head.18

I completed day 2, week 7 of my couch-to-5K program today and felt strong and good. I finished the 3 miles in 40 minutes, which is a personal best for me. Go me!21

My husband, period. Today we were at a store and I forgot something and went to go get it...he was watching me as I left, when I got back he said: "you're looking younger and younger more each day". I was just thinking to myself earlier today that I'm looking older (cause honey I AM an older woman) Now, my wonderful and beloved husband has been saying a lot of nice things to/about me since the weight has been blasted off of me (and he NEVER complained when I was obese, he loves me for me--he's a tall slim super handsome studly YUMMY looking man too), but the way he looked at me and told me this, especially with me thinking the way/what I was I was thinking about myself earlier, sent chills (the good SUPER GOOD/butterflies kind) down my spine and I've been thinking about it all day. I've said this a million times, but here goes a million and 1...getting this "weight" off of/in/around me is blessing and helping me (and those around me) in so many, many ways....BOOM!19

My blood pressure yesterday was 131/68. It was about 145/90 to 150/95. This low sodium diet is paying off!14

Tied my own shoes without help. this probably seems ridiculous, but its been 2 years since I could do this. Thank God I've had someone willing to help me, but someone else never ties them exactly like you would yourself.31

@tthickens637 I’ve been doing yoga for over ten years. I was 35 BMI last September. I reached normal BMI about four months ago and started working with a trainer. She has really built up my upper body strength. On Jan 1st, my goal for the year was “an arm balance”, and now I’ve got several. So I’ve upped the ante to “headstand in middle of the room”.
Today was the first time I tried this pose, called “Fallen Angel”. The whole class clapped for me, something I’ve never seen at this studio. I was really touched. Many of them know me from 70 pounds ago, probably as “the fat chick: at least she tries really hard”.
I feel like my body is a new toy. It does so many things I could never, ever have asked it to do just a few months ago.
I asked someone to take the pictures after class so I could share them with my trainer to thank her. She is amazing- so supportive and motivating.
Got grasshopper pose, too!

I got sick last week and went to the doctor. Nurse taking my vitals said she wished everybody had those numbers. Blood pressure, pulse, respiration, all great. I had been running a slight temp, but it was down. Later all labs, including glucose which usually comes back high, came back normal.
It may have been a little bug. Or it may have been my food intolerances surfacing.
I'd been looking forward to being able to go to the doctor about anything at all, and NOT be lectured about my weight and body size being the cause of it. That day seems to have come, because absolutely nobody had anything to say about it.27
