Nice one! Like a pro!2 -
I have MANY of these today. Having been told but multiple coworkers today alone (not to mention in the last couple weeks) that I look great, being called skinny multiple times, so on and so forth with peoples' compliments! Don't know when the last time someone besides my husband called me skinny was.
I fit into a skirt now that I have never fit in since I bought it three years ago and it's actually loose on me now, which makes me smaller now than I was on my 23rd birthday, which is what I initially bought it for!15 -
My oldest son just came in and I said "Hi" and he said "Hey Slim" ! This means so much to me. I have a lot of children and none of them EVER saw me slim--they only saw me obese & overweight all of their lives. YAY, I like LOVE being slim and called slim too. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!21

Having to tighten my bra straps for the first time!! Also, being able to slide into the golf cart comfortably at work rather than the side bar on the seat poking me in the bum because I can't quite fit getting in.11

1) I doubled the weights on one of the machines I use at the gym . . . . in error. I'd been using another machine and just set the the next one at the same weight without realising. Made me sweat like crazy and think that I had gotten weaker. It was only as I was going home that I realised what I'd done.
But there's no going back from that adjustment, I shall just have to keep sweating it out until I can cope with it!
2) Have been to the gym on eight of the last nine mornings (a record for me!)
3) Completed my 80th parkrun on Saturday.

Back into 36" waist trousers.15

Bought a summer dress in size L off the rack. And I even wore it out to the store! Never, ever did that before. Was a tight size 20W

Wow what a milestone I'd kill to be able to do that. Really inspiring

The pants I'm wearing today are a foot smaller in the waist than when I started36

Last night, I made a spaghetti and meatball meal for my weekly meal prep and didn't use a recipe. I'd really been craving it but couldn't find a recipe that fit well with my calories, so I decided to make one up.
This might not seem like a big deal, but I was elated because I had never taken the time to learn how to cook in my entire adult life until I started meal prepping last December...even then, I was mostly buying frozen meat and vegetables that I could steam in the bag. The fact that I now know enough about cooking to create a marinara sauce from scratch was amazing to me, and definitely not a point I thought I'd ever get to. It makes me feel like this really is a sustainable lifestyle because I'm learning skills that I'll be able to utilize for the rest of my life.37 -
Only a week in but the diabetic clinic are delighted I'm back on track, I already feel better and more positive and I love their positive reinforcement.19

I am fully transitioned from 5x into 4x, I was also finally able to fit in some compression socks to get my lymphedema swelling under some semblance of control, and was able to go from huge, specially made custom shoes to some simple extra wide ones from walmart. Basically means I have had to buy several complete new outfits to suit my size change, but it's definitely worth it.41

My weigh in this morning continues a trend I have been on for well over 1.5 years... not moving. My NSV is that my self talk is "we will get there girl...just keep doin what you are doin" No feelings of desperation because I KNOW I can do it. And forward I go....26

Two things today -
1. In the past month, I have added about 7 or 8 lbs of muscle
2. My 46th Birthday was in June - as part of the celebration, some friends bought me a cake from a grocery store. Because I did not want to seem ungrateful, I took the leftovers home - and I figured out the best way to deal with them - I did think about throwing them out once I got home, but I used them to carb up right before three different workouts. I knew if I ate it any other time, I would regret it, but that plan worked out really well. I had so much energy in those three workouts and they were high quality workouts.
Note- I absolutely do NOT condone this as a regular practice - I only did it out of respect and appreciation for my friends.25 -
Yesterday my gym class involved the use of weights, and I initially used the light weights I've been using, but then decided to double it, because everyone else in class was using at least 3X the weight I was...double was totally fine, and in fact I'm sure I could do even more the next time!20

Go you! Transitioning to heavier weights does feel really good like..."Eh-those aren't enough of a challenge anymore. Gotta step up my game."6 -
I came to the conclusion that what I kept thinking was stubborn back fat (around my bra band) is not back fat at all, it is my increasing lats.21

Practice...and accepting that failing and falling is all part of the journey. It was a milestone for me too. This pose is so much harder than Parsva Bakasana/side crow pose. Something about the fear of lifting that bottom leg off the ground is really hard. I get into it from a bound chair pose.4 -
Got 3 sets of knee high boots which at the start of the year I couldn't zip any of them up fully. Tried them on the other day and 2 out of 3 zip right up. So happy. (I love boots even in Summer). Now just to get that final pair zippitty doooh darring.16

I used to have similar issues with ski boots. Had to wear mens ones partly done up.
Gumboots too never used to fit ladies gumboots.3 -
Been a week alcohol free, feeling good, sleeping better and feeling happy.28

I got my handstand and actually had a little hang-time...it's taken forever for me to not be terrified of only being on my hands.

My latest NSV was trying on some short shorts, that looked really cute. I would only wear them around the house, but now I can see some tangible physical results, although my scale has not gone down much in the last six months while I have been working out consistently. Also kind of an NSV, some smoking hot guy at the gym has started talking to me, apparently he was paying attention to one of my sauna conversations and he knows my favorite football team - works for me, lol.16

Cake fueled workouts are awesome. My last two deadlift PRs were giant chocolate chip cookie fueled workouts 😆11 -

Brilliant! You two are an inspiration. I am known as the "COOKIE MONSTER". I may have to try a pre-workout cookie once in a while!

My family has season passes to a local amusement park, and this year they changed the "look" of the passes. When we went on Monday for the first time this year, the woman at the entrance had me get my photo taken again, but didn't have my daughters get theirs taken. When I asked why, she said "You look a lot different, so I thought you needed a new photo." I proudly announced "Thank you! I've lost 50 pounds." She proceeded to tell me that I look fantastic...totally made my day!28
