Egg beaters are a name brand liquid egg. You can find coconut oil at most health food stores. I get expelled pressed, which means they take out the coconut smell and flavor so it's like plain oil.

    Yeah....no to the uncooked eggs

They are pasteurized and as safe as milk.

It's too bad, egg beaters are also great in shakes. They add thickness, flavor, and almost zero carbs.

Bump. Tried it and it tasted amazing!

    Two thoughts:
    - Made it with chocolate protein powder, egg beaters but no oil.
    - Need to find a way to make a larger amount with less calories!

Okay, these may be dumb questions, but...

    1. Does putting this in the fridge firm it up enough to be like a protein bar? If not, is there a way to do that?

    2. What happens if you bake it? Someone mentioned adding "a touch" of baking soda and microwaving for a "brownie", but I'm not sure how much "a touch" would be. Could we possibly bake this until it turns into a muffin? Have you or anyone tried this yet?

    Any thoughts?

Egg beaters are a great idea, thanks! I used to drink Rocky Balboa-style egg shakes all the time as a kid, and egg beaters would be safer and leaner.

Is there such a thing as caramel protein powder? (sorry, I'm new to this) I have been thinking that this would make a phenomenal apple dip made with caramel protein powder.

I need more protein today.... I'm totally doing this. How long to micro for a "brownie"??? Think I might add some PB2 to make it chocolate peanut butter flavored. Yummmm.
