Not a runner anymore, but when I was, I loved running in the rain unless it was also cold. Nothing like a good summer rain to cool you down.1

yeah but our rain is cold... I wear glasses and can't run without.. so for me, i'm not motivate going... Even if it's for a wlak...0

Use an umbrella on your walks? Don't let a little rain stop you.

I thought about that but I'm talking about motivation.1 -

The motivation is that a little rain can't stop you from achieving your goal of getting out for a walk. It's a mindset thing.
I guess the difference is that I love going for my walks and don't see it as a punishment that I have to force myself to do, regardless of the weather. I live in Canada, and if I let a little bad weather stop me, I'd never get out!4 -

yeah you're probably right.
i think it's because i thought of that as a punishment for my body to be fat

I'm in the UK, you kind of have to get over it....!
Get the right kit, a waterproof hat or cap can help keep it off the glasses, and waterproof trousers in the winter.
I'm running because I want to, not to punish myself.
Besides, feel proper hard core after a run in the rain in the winter. It's invigorating.1 -

Unless it’s lightning out rain jacket and/ or umbrella. Running may be more difficult keeping the water off your glasses. I t seems colder than walking when it’s snowing. At least when it’s snowing you don’t get wet.0

I did get a treadmill a few years ago so I could continue my walks in the winter without breaking a leg. I much prefer doing it outside, though, and will use the treadmill only if I have no other choice. I don't mind bundling up against the cold or the rain, but icy sidewalks are a deal breaker for me.2

When I first started walking, I could barely make it around the block. What motivated me was how quickly I found I could extend my range without getting tired and out of breath. I never viewed it as a punishment. It was more of a get moving, old girl - let's see how far we can get today kind of thing.2 -

My favorite triathlon trainings were swimming, biking and running in the pouring rain. It made me feel like a bad *kitten*.0

I did not write “kitten” but that’s funny. 😂0

I guess that word that rhymes with grass is not permitted on here. Oops.0

I walk to get places.
My appointments are still on even if it is raining outside.
My lectures are still held on days it's pouring.
Work doesn't close up if there's a bit of drizzle.
So ... I walk.
Fortunately, I also enjoy walking and walking in the rain can actually be quite pleasant.1 -

I'm in the UK. This is my approach as well. I don't mind a bit of water. Here is a photo from my London Loop walk, where around 2 miles near Heathrow was underwater:

Where I live it rains often. I actually enjoy it, although the rain on my glasses makes me crazy frustrated. I took a chance on bifocal contacts this year. It took a little time, but I found some that work. Now rainy days are that much more pleasant.0

I live somewhere where it rains or drizzles and is overcast 6-8 months of the year. Finding motivation can be difficult on a dreary day. Discipline and habit-making is important.
One of my new habits is checking the weather everyday to see when the rain will start and if it's set to start later in the afternoon and go into the evening, it motivates me to get my walk in early so I miss the rain or to make a plan for when it's raining later if I can't start my walk til then. This simple habit of checking the weather means I'm already putting myself in the mindset that walking is part of my plan for the day. Once I feel like "it's part of the plan for today," I'm much more likely to succeed in actually following through.
Discipline: Sometimes, I suck it up and I walk in the rain because otherwise I just wouldn't go at all. I never regret it. Having waterproof gear helps (try a baseball cap if you wear glasses). The thing about motivation is that it comes and goes and therefore it isn't reliable. I find that if I just push through those first few moments when I don't feel like doing exercise and JUST START, I find I can keep going. Sometimes just starting means telling myself that if after 5 minutes I'm absolutely miserable I can always turn around and go home. That alone makes me feel like I can at least start. I usually never turn around and if I do, that's 10 minutes of walking I wouldn't have done and still managed to get into my day.
When it's really pouring, I do some walking videos at home via YouTube (Jessica SmithTV) or I go to a mall. Just starting the video or getting in the car to go to the mall pushes me through the feelings of "not wanting to." Mall walking is underrated. As long as you can keep from spending tons of money...it keeps you distracted, the time passes quickly, and most importantly, it keeps you dry. Once you're on the way there you can't really "un-motivate" yourself to get some movement in.
I've managed to walk every single day (barring illness or an extremely busy work day) rain or shine since December. It started with just 20 minutes a day now up to 60-90 minutes a day. It definitely helped that I started my weight loss journey in the dead of winter when it was raining every day.1 -
Everyone has given a lot of great advice here.
Rain-proofing your attire is important. Rain-proof baseball cap, rainproof jacket and pants and shoes - very important.
Alternatives: you could buy a second-hand treadmill for not too much - something to think about. OR - you could drive to a mall (if there's one by you) and mall-walk.
Motivation: something you have to bring - but hopefully if you have some alternative plans for when it rains, this will help you.
Good luck!0
