Gorgeous......when being used to describe food.....please, if you can call your child that, its probably the wrong adjective for food. Would you call your child delicious?

Delicious...when being used to describe people....😆

The two 4 letter words that start with ‘C’ that refer to male and female private parts are so offensive and unappealing to me. There are much better words to use.

You should get ony the words you like but I love those you referenced when used correctly. They are old words with a rich history. It sounds silly to say that but it’s true.

Those other words are clinical to my ears or else they were meant to be euphemisms and soften the meaning. Makes me feel like people are afraid to say what they mean.

I also like the eff word.

I’m only commenting because I find our differences interesting and not because one is right and one is wrong. Just different. 😊

    there's a lot

    Can't think right now

"coffee" makes me cringe, be more specific - Americano or what?

I only hate it when someone says, "I need coffee" and they're talking about a frappuccino with pretty much zero coffee in it.

You mean pantyhose like stockings or is that a derogatory term I’m not familiar with?

    Dovetailed like in woodwork?

It grates on my nerves when people pronounce celebrities' names wrong. I am not sure why - since I'm not personally affected. But it seems like people who do this have MANY celebs whose names they butcher. A few that come to mind...

    Pierce Brosnan - Pierce Bronson
    Al Pacino - Al Pa-SEE-no
Halle Berry - Hollyberry like it is one word, and Holly instead of Halle
    Justin Bieber - Justin Beaver

A coworker today called an action/adventure actor Niam Leeson. But what annoyed me was, while she did it she was trying to sound so knowledgeable about his movies.

I guess my annoying words are mostly mispronunciations and non-words.

    Irregardless
    Supposably
    Flustrated
    Functionable
    Rurnt (instead of ruined)
    "my bad"
    "it is what it is"
    "could care less"
"no problem" instead of "you're welcome"
also, when people use the words "was like" in place of a verb. I was like, then she was like, and it was like....

Hearing this a lot more these days, ‘Oh my days!!’
Also, one of the worst prounounced words, especially by a lot of younger people is the word, ‘Ask.’ So often it’s pronounced ‘Aks.’
