Hello, i'm new to calorie counting, have done WW & SW but don't want to go back there! I've started a gym programme but just can't seem to get my eating habits under control! I'm my own worst enemy! How do you all get started, do you literally count everything, even salad items & veges? Any help/advice greatly appreciated, think this is my last resort! Thank you.

Yes I log everything including vegetables (I use a food scale for all food). However, to get started that can be overwhelming, my dietician had initially recommended logging one meal for a few days/week until I was comfortable and that was easy then added snack/another meal and eventually building to a full day.
It's a lot more work at first as you figure out the app and find your foods, screen/double check entries for accuracy. but after a few weeks once you have searched for most "go to" foods you can just find them in your history and make meals/recipes for easy reference. It gets better/faster with practice.

Thank you so much for this. I definitely like the idea of starting off with tracking one meal a day, takes quite a bit of pressure off from the start, i have a small set of scales. Thank you also for sharing the other posts, i will have a good read of them.0
