A day late but ready for the challenge! I've been slacking a little bit workout wise lately but my food has been relatively healthy so I'm maintaining for the most part. I have 2 weddings coming up, one of which is a beach wedding so I need all the motivation I can get!

Thoughts: First Friday weigh-in promising. Feel off to a strong start. Had that unplanned 2 miler last night (yay me!). That put me off my eating plan with a late dinner, but I stayed at calorie goal and got 2 more bottles of water than usual.
I picked up produce for a big pot of soup on the way home. It's a variation of that viral Mayo Clinic soup. I know the "diet" is a fake - I just love the soup. Cabbage, onion, bell pepper, chopped tomato, and vegetable broth with fresh herbs. Lean burgers on the grill tonight. That gives me time this evening to focus on meal plan for next week, and hit farmer's market in the morning 😊

Decided to wait on the meal planning until after the farmer's market. Came home with a bounty. Corn, green beans, new potatoes, yellow & green summer squash, cucumber, tomatoes, and a small eggplant. Also splurged on a small loaf of spinach feta bread. Obviously I'm not doing Keto, but I have a healthy start for the week's meals.4

69 years old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
Had back surgery June 18th. Just getting back into walking and controlling what goes in my mouth.

Notes : ❤️Hey everyone. Hope you are all doing well and still crushing all those goals. I’m sorry I’ve been absent for so long. I’m still checking in and reading you all but have not been the best with commenting and encouraging etc. I will try to do better.
Needless to say that when I go MIA, it’s usually because I am not doing well on my journey. Since I’ve gotten back from holiday, we’ve had a week of guests which came with its own side of over eating and drinking.
BUT, there is one thing I am extremely proud of, I am on my final week of the C25K program. I’ve kept at it despite of the over eating and weight gain I have kept on top of my workouts. This is the first time I will ever complete the program. I think I have started it 6 or 7 times and for the first time I’ve gone all the way. 2 more workouts and I complete the program!!! I will most likely start over once I’m done as I want to improve on speed but I am so incredibly proud of my progress. I love running. Who would have thought I would be a runner. 🤷🏻♀️ 💪🏻
