Trying to put myself into my oldest boy's shoes after I just stumbled onto the Instagram account he's not supposed to have. They didn't cover this in "What to expect when you're expecting"3

i just heard mark zuckerberg is going to change IG’s name to Facebook IG and imo that rebranding should make IG so uncool everyone under 30 will get rid of accts so maybe bide yr time and let that play out?
Fingers crossed1 -

Both scenarios are wrong, but the lack of involvement in the first scenario breaks my heart. I wonder if it’s the ramifications of calling child social services that affects one to get involved in the first scenario?!1 -

Blood pressure medication is supposed to help with stroke prevention/high blood pressure/heart attack prevention, but can cause RAPID WEIGHT GAIN, which is why someone would be at risk for stroke/high blood pressure/heart attack. What in the heck?!?!0

Ah yes - I’ve been down this road with my oldest daughter man - it’s rough cause you can’t keep the leash too tight forever and gotta let up a bit and tell yourself you’ve raised them well enough to this point to make good decisions - but they are kids and gonna make dumb *kitten* decisions in the process - and just gotta get through those with having a stroke lol0 -
Brownies with big ole nuts in them. That's right, big ole nuts. Walnuts preferably2

It’s fascinating how no matter after how many years that may have gone by, mistakes still linger in our minds.3

Yes and we forget the good things or they are as clearly remembered1 -

So true. Sometimes just a smell or a sound will bring back a memory so vividly I could almost be time traveling. Unfortunately those memories are not always so pleasant, and bring back feelings of pain or guilt.2 -

most folks get consumed by them from time to time. waves of time. its natural but not "only natural". i'm of the opinion you have to turn up your self perception to either prevent them from happening again, or not be afraid of owning them when they do.
it's like links in a chain that lead from back then, to now.
if you're lucky you can use the chain to pull yourself up out of the dark tide- but if you're unlucky or weak, it can just as easily drown you instead.
depends on how you see the chain really.7 -

I definitely agree with this. It can make or break you depending on your perception.2 -

I picked up my car today from the dealership service dept.
Mostly maintenance issues.
Finished maxing out my credit card to pay for the work done.
I was grumbling all the way home.
I started thinking though, considering the mileage and the amount of the bill, it calculates to 1.5 cents a mile.
Money well spent, even though it hurt.0 -
