Shrimp is one of the very most cost effective protein sources one would serve. Here, a 2 lb bag of flash frozen tail on raw shrimp costs $22. It has 220 g of protein. About the same as Amazon house brand protein powder.

    You are wildly mistaken.

A 2 lb tub of ON Whey (middle of the road price-wise) is ~$25 and contains over 700 g protein per tub.

2 pounds of chicken breast costs ~$4-$6 and has over 220 g of protein...

Shrimp is a great source of protein, but to say its cost effective is laughable.

I think you have made your point. An incorrect one, but noted.

I was disappointed to find scallops have carbs.
