    Ofcourse this happens but only with people who are rich to begin with, they wanna hold on to their money...

    And on a date, i would never, ever, no matter how horrible the date was, let the woman pay for anything

    Why are men so weird about this? Not all men. But some men are really insulted if you even think about offering whereas others are just.. i don’t know, easy going about it. They don’t take it personally. WHAT BUTTON AM I PUSHING WHEN I WANT TO PAY

    If they don’t want to pay I get big sad eyes and whisper, “you don’t think I’m good enough for this steamed broccoli and baked potato, do you?” Then just whimper sadly to myself the whole way home

    You should try going out for a night with the guys. For some reason, if one check is delivered, every guy at the table is going to pull out a bill that’s way too large and throw it on the table and say “that should cover mine“ and nobody ever wants change. I was at a paintball game once where the guys I was with ended up leaving a 138% tip

    Is it wrong to want a women who has her own place career track and finances in order before we meet so I am getting involved with a team mate, a partner, and not someone who wants to ride behind me or be babysat? Like we can run towards goals side by side? Someone who wants to chase after growth together?
