08/31 - DNW - Was out last night with hubby for our 17th wedding anniversary - champagne cocktails, beautiful chateaubriand, bottle of red, cheese board and liquer coffees. Didn't log but guessing it wasn't within calories for the day !! Hubby brought me up tea in bed this morning too so didn't bother to get up and weigh in first - although would definitely be up after last night!! Back to normal today - a gardening and DIY day today so just need to remember to drink plenty of water as thats where I often go wrong at the weekend and its pretty warm here again today.

09/01 - DNW - got a long overdue lay in this morning and sat up in bed reading with my cup of tea - lovely way to start a Sunday.
09/02 - DNW - Tried to weigh but my scales decided to have a hissy fit and just show "Lo" - so need to get some new batteries for it today. I know scale would have been up though as not the best of weekends plus the usual Sunday night family roast. But a new week, a new month, kids all back to school and college this week, my work hours return to normal. Food planned and prepped for today, water bottle at my side on my desk.
09/03 - DNW - Got in from work yesterday and girls wanted to go to the cinema for a last day of the holidays treat so didn't get to sort batteries for the scales so still couldn't weigh this morning!! Work all day today then gym tonight so may not get chance today either! Waved my youngest off to secondary school this morning so no more school runs for me now and the other daughter heads off to college tomorrow... All change in our house from today - time to get focused on me I guess!
09/04 - DNW - no time to sort the scales yesterday. Plan to get sorted when I get home today. But food all OK and a tough gym session last night so feeling OK, water intake been pretty good and daughter loved her first day at secondary school - elder one headed to college today ....
09/05 - DNW - Still get round to sorting out scale batteries - has the worlds smallest screw head to change them, couldn't find a screwdriver anywhere to fit, ruined two knives trying to use that instead so will ask Hubby when he's home to use his tiny screwdriver set which is buried in the garage somewhere Feeling bloated today though - but food been OK but not great this week - so much going on with new the girls starting at secondary school and college, starting training with their new cheerleading team and me back to "normal" work hours and trying to catch up from holiday. Will take a couple of weeks trying to work out our new "normal" And hubby now away for a couple of days working so heading out for a girls treat with my daughters for a dinner of their choice (which I;m guessing won't be an overly healthy option!)
Will aim to get scales fixed and my head back in gear over the weekend and re-start afresh on Monday just in time for R89
09/06 - DNW but scales sorted!!! No work today so went for a 10 mile walk this morning (trying to do some prep for the marathon I've been asked to step in and do in a couple of weeks time!) so good exercise day and food so far good too with a decent dinner planned too
09/07 - 137.6lb (+1.0lb) Yay scales are back up and running. Wasn't looking forward to getting on them as don't feel its been a great week food wise (OK but not great) plus ended up eating out with daughters on Thursday and feel quite bloated. So only 1.0lb up is I consider a result! So back on track from now I guess
09/08 - DNW as was my turn to gt a cup of tea in bed! Luxury
09/09 - 140.3lb (+2.3lb) Usual Monday high weight after our Sunday family roast and dessert. Just unfortunate it comes at the end of the round ... Both daughters now at school and college form today so time to get properly back into it post holiday and no more excuses that the kids are off ... A nice time to reset and start a new round - see you all in R897 -
08/31 209.4. (+0.4). I had a very active day yesterday. Calories were logged & under maintenance. DS suggests a free day to get things really shook up, but I think I am just going to hold steady & eat at maintenance for the next couple of days until

9/1 159.4 (-0.0) 10.191 steps. Today will be hard as it’s my daughters surprise birthday and I made our favourite, a lemon meringue pie ice cream. I’ll treat myself to a little slice. Rest day sports wise as I went for a short run yesterday.
9/2 160.4 (+1.0) 3.056 steps, sooo yes…. That was a bit of a disaster for yesterday! A combination of a big family meal with yummy birthday desert and cheese for dinner, add no exercise as cherry on the cake and there’s no surprise there lol I did really (really really) enjoy it though
9/3 159.2 (-1.2) 7.888 steps, A good drop after the weekend gain. I didn’t get my steps in but I wasn’t feeling well, I had an upset tummy, probably after all the food from the day before! I’ll be going for a run later, I’m behind on my schedule for the C25K

I suppose it has to do with the run yesterday evening and I stayed in my 1200cal range so it resulted in a hefty calorie deficit. No exercise planned today except getting my 10.000 steps, my daughter (10) was given a fitbit for her birthday and she’s really into the competition so it’s motivating lol
9/5 158.0 (0.0) 9.891 steps, I hadn’t realized I was so close to my 10,000 steps yesterday, that’s a pity! Well tonight is a run night, so I’ll catch up then. Autumn has definitely arrived, with the good and bad, fresher weather making it nicer to run but also darker mornings and evenings! Food wise, I’m finding it a bit more difficult to stick to my 1200 cal as I’m exercising more.
9/6 158.0 (0.0) 11.368 steps, C25K done. I went over my calories intake by 250cal yesterday, but I was starving. I’ve been reading up on whether or not to eat exercise calories, there’s a big debate about this issue it would seem (if you’re not a pro-athlete that of course), I think I should at least eat a bit more on exercising days as I really saw the difference yesterday: I had a better run, I recovered much more quickly and I don’t feel as wiped out today. I suppose eventually my body will be used to exercising and then it won’t be necessary to compensate for it? Ok so it’s Friday, now not to give in to the weekend food splurge 😉

09/03 – 141 – Considering I had two picnics for Labor Day, I did really well this weekend.
09/04 – 141 – I didn’t get all my water in yesterday, but I’m fine with this weight.
09/05 – 139.5 – I’m a little surprised since we had a lunch meeting yesterday, although I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and only ate half, I expected the sodium to bump me up. It may hit tomorrow, but I’m still OK with my weight.

08/31 - 204 - started the day with a 2.6km walk with the dog. Plan another walk in the evening, tracking and drinking more water!
09/01 - 203.6 - busy day cleaning and organizing the kids for school. Not the best dinner choice and than indulged with some weekend drinks. Still took the dog for another walk to total 3.89km yesterday. Started today with another 2.4km walk. Drinking more water today too.

09/02 - 202.7 - I find the weekends to be the hardest to fit my workouts in. Didn’t get a second walk in last night but did stay focused on eating. Today’s going to be a busy day, family bbq and then getting the kids ready for school. Plan is a long walk this morning and then just staying focused on eating well and drinking lots of water for the rest of the day.
09/03 - 204.3 - fully expected to see a gain today, poor planing left me snacking late at night last night. Fairly active day yesterday and started today with my usual morning walk, lunch is packed, dinner planned... should be a successful day.
09/04 - 204.8 ???? Not really sure why the gain and it’s so frustrating. Had a really good day yesterday, in track with eating, lots of water, evening walk of 1.6km. However, despite what the scale reads I feel great, more energy etc. Not discouraged, regular morning walk, lunches packed etc.
09/05 -202.6 - that’s a bit better.... good day yesterday on track with eating, 2 good walks but not enough water. Today will be better. 2.6km down this morning.
09/06 - 203.1 - a bit lazy this morning, no walk. This week has kicked my butt at work just trying to get through the day. Lunch made and trying to not get tempted with afternoon treats at work.

09/04 197 - Ok I was expecting a spike. Camping weekend of carbs, snacks, alcohol. Also lots of hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing. I think this is all sodium/carb and my pre TOM water hike.

08/31 298.2 Interesting. I’m happy with this as it should mean that I’m staying on track with my plans. Yesterday I was hungry for no real reason, this happens to me near ovulation. However I didn’t expect that at higher calories it would still happen and it’s something that I’ll have to watch out for.
09/01 300.4 Eep. It’s okay though I was high sodium and high carb and I didn’t have enough water.
09/02 299.6 Better. I think the sugar, high carb, or something isn’t agreeing with me. I’ve limited sweets a lot over the last few months so several days of them has been a little much. Thankfully all the birthday cake is gone, but there will be more on Thursday for my daughter’s birthday. Next year I might split the recipe into two separate cakes rather than making two full cakes. Live and learn.
09/03 301.0 I weighed late, but I’m not sure I would be a lot lower. I over ate a bit yesterday so I deserve this bounce up.
09/04 301.6 One thing I’m trying during this break is some shifts to my breakfast and lunch. Yesterday they didn’t stay with me and I was starving at dinner time. I was in my calories, but it was a big meal. Needless to say I won’t be doing that again.
09/05 303.6 One week down, one to go. I know how I’ve been eating so I know that most of this will go quickly once I restart.
09/06 302.6 Oh that’s nice. It’s been a little rough seeing the higher numbers, but in addition to more carbs/food I also bounce up during this point in my cycle. Hopefully the next few days will continue to see the water retention go away.

9/2-168-Not bad after the weekend. Not much exercise lately. I’ll go for a big walk this morning and be back on track.
9/3-169-Hmm-I read about reducing visceral fat by walking so fast that you’re winded. I did that for 5 miles yesterday and thought I was going to die! My back was hurting. I am going to try for my normal 7 miles this morning at a comfortable pace and some swimming that stretches my back.
9/4-167-I got a big walk in yesterday and ate pretty good. I have been quilting a lot and I sit a lot doing that. 1/2 walk and swim today.
9/5-167–Whew! Yesterday I stopped in the quilt store they asked me to stay for a birthday party and I ended up eating cake for breakfast! After that I went home and got some protein. Birthday party at a Mexican restaurant tonight. Yikes!
9/6-167-Whew, again! Walked 7 miles yesterday, ate good, then went to a birthday dinner at Mexican restaurant. I did pretty good with food, and had a piece of cake and drank water instead of the pitchers of margaritas that were passed around.
9/7-166-Walked 5 miles and did a ton of housework. Glad to be down today (Saturday), I’ll probably behave myself.

09/01: 306.2 lbs (-3.6) … sweet, sweet uptick recovery. New low… with this weight I’ve now lost 80 lbs! Completed Couch to 5k Week 3 Day 2 this morning.
09/02: 305.9 lbs (-0.3) … it’s been a good 3 day weekend!
09/03: 305.8 lbs (-0.1) … I’m glad to see that these weigh ins aren’t a fluke! Completed Couch to 5k Week 3 Day 3 this morning.
09/04: 308.1 lbs (+2.3) … upticks happen, but I’m glad that I’m still under my round starting weight by a decent amount.
09/05: 307.5 lbs (-0.6) … bit better today. It would have been lower if I hadn’t ate closer to maintenance yesterday. Had a huge appetite for some reason.
09/06: 306.2 lbs (-1.3) … more uptick recovery. I’ve been eating more than usual for the past two days due to an increased appetite. Wednesday was still below budget when accounting for exercise calories and yesterday was a bit over budget. Glad to see that it’s not negatively affecting my morning weigh ins. Completed Couch to 5k Week 4 Day 1 this morning. Jogging intervals were pushed to alternating 3 minutes / 5 minutes, and I certainly felt those longer intervals in my legs.
09/07: 306.8 lbs (+0.6) … ate a bigger dinner last night, that’s likely all this is. Hopefully it’ll drop tomorrow a bit.

08/31 166.7 Up a little more than I had hoped. I'm sure it's sodium. I went to the gym and lifted weights, then rode the bike for 45 minutes.
09/01 Didn't weigh Went to a party and ate too much taco bake. Wasn't bad on sweets so that's something but again, the sodium.
09/02 Didn't weigh House cleaning was my only workout and I didn't track it.
09/03 167.9 This weekend was not good for me food-wise. I ate at weird times and not real meals but lots of snacks. Healthy snacks for the most part but not real meals. My stomach is really unhappy with my food choices and made this known to me this morning. I came to work an hour late, but I'm here. I went to the gym on Saturday but that was it for the entire 3 day weekend. I just can't get motivated to ride the bike like walking outside. Thursday will be 4 weeks with only one real walk. My leg is definitely better but not normal.
09/04 169.4 SODIUM BOMB. I went crazy yesterday on sodium. Today I weigh 2 pounds more than I did yesterday. I know it's water retention since I didn't eat enough to gain 2 pounds overnight. Water, water, water is the theme of the day. Even knowing it's not real "weight" I was not happy to see that number. Rode the bike for an hour last night, going back tonight for another hour. The weather has cooled down a little, I want to walk but I'll wait a few more days.
09/05 169.5 I was within calorie goal yesterday but didn't drink as much water as I should have. I went to the gym but had no energy and only rode the bike for 30 minutes, even that was a challenge. I don't know if it's MS fatigue or if I'm starting to get sick. Time will tell. Keep up the good fight ya'll.
09/06 169.4 No real change. I drank 70 oz of water so I had hoped that combined with eating at goal, that I might have a whoosh but I guess not. Weightloss is fickle. I did not exercise, I ran out of time with a meeting and getting dinner. Yesterday was 4 weeks since I pulled my hamstring. Resting for 4 weeks is the recommended period so I will be walking this weekend. I need it, my mental state is not good. I am stressing out about things that don't normally get to me. The bike is nice but doesn't have the mental recuperative powers that walking outside does for me.
09/07 169.0 Walked 2.25 miles Friday night and my leg hurt on Saturday. I have a doctors appt on Friday afternoon, I think I will just hold off on walking until I talk to him. It's so depressing.
09/08 168.7 Picked up the baby (toddler) and went to the park. She is a monkey girl! Climbed up the rock wall and wouldn't come down. I had to literally peel her away, she got to the top turned around and smiled at me like I am never coming down. That personality is challenging and I hope she never loses the attitude.

09/05 - 222.8 - Ugh, the first day in a long time I went over 200g of carbs. On a positive note, I made my step goal and had a great walk with my son.
09/06 - 222.4 - I can't wait to get out of the 220's. I'm frustrated because I know that I'm not making the best choices this week. I'm making mostly good choices with some not so great sprinkled in. Chips are my kryptonite and when I buy them for the kids I end up overeating them (I don't like to deprive myself, but I'll eat 2 bags instead of 1). Also, I've been so beat at the end of the day and unmotivated to exercise. I know that I'll feel better once I do, but I just don't....I know this will pass. It could just be my TOM making me feel this way as well. I should be proud that I've quit smoking and drinking for 2 months and have not been shoving everything I can in my face...
09/07 - 222.6 - Looking back on the week, I wasn't so bad. I'm entering this on Monday so I already know that I've blown the week over this weekend. I really think it's the TOM (TMI, but I'm never sure because of my IUD, I just know by how much I'm craving snacks, bloating and how emotional I feel)
09/08 - DNW - Went out for lunch and had alcohol for the first time in 2 months. I enjoyed my time with friends I haven't been able to spend time with in a while, but I know I went a little overboard with food.
09/09 - 226.2 - Aaannndd here are the consequences of my actions to close out these past 10 days. I'm getting back on track but I need to get it together on the weekends. They are ruining my progress. Also, I need to get back into exercising. I've taken a couple weeks off and cannot afford to take any more. I'm not feeling great about myself.6 -

@deepwoodslady It’s a lovely gesture by the neighbor but WE need to get up the courage to share that we don’t eat certain items. My issue is a neighbor who is only around one weekend a month and feels she must bring us food. Dates, figs, cupcakes, a bag of oranges - all not on my WOE. Glad you liked the article. I think @HoopsGuy72 should read it, too, if he hasn’t.3

09/03: 136.6 lbs - Still resting my body, no working out for me for a few days, maybe the whole week. The kids start back to school this week, it's going to be a zoo figuring out the new schedules. Going to eat well and get lots of rest.

08/31 - out of town DNW. Went to a friend's wedding and had a lot of fun. Managed to stay keto despite all the delicious looking temptations. Went for a hike before the wedding, so got a little exercise in
09/01 - out of town DNW. Went wedding dress shopping and the store had only three dresses that fit me 😭 most of their samples were street size equivalent 10 and below. I felt really crappy and embarrassed and also just stressed about how I'm going to find a dress I like if I cant even see what they look like on me. But I'm trying to move past it and start looking for wedding stores that carry bigger sizes. Made it home this afternoon and some friends stayed the night with us. They made cocktails and cookies and got a giant bag of peanut m&ms... All things I love and I kept wanting to give in but I didn't. So I have that positive to hold onto from today
09/02 - 204.4! First weigh in after two days away. A little bit up but not as high as I had feared. I looked so big yesterday in those dresses, I thought for sure I gained back. Now to hopefully make progress in the other direction! Doing lots of chores today but will try to exercise and stick to my calorie goals.
09/03 - 204.6 up again. I'm surprised it's not higher because I feel SO bloated this morning. I dont know why. Hopefully with exercise and good diet today, I can reverse this and start to go down a little
09/04 - 203.4! I can't believe it! So happy, I hope I'm able to keep this up and this isn't just a quick blip down before bouncing back up again. Had a lot of trouble focusing at work yesterday, trying to do better today. Sticking to my diet and hoping to get a good youtube workout in today. Yesterday I did a popsugar video that I liked, so maybe I'll see what other videos they have.
09/05 - 202.4! Wow, I'm so surprised but happy. Didnt exercise yesterday but I will definitely exercise today. Try to give my legs a break as they will get an intense workout tomorrow. Going to make healthy choices today and try to hold on to this loss
09/06 - 202! Oh man, was totally expecting to flux back up. Really happy that hasnt happened (yet!). Super intense workout today, can barely walk. Going to stretch a lot and take it easy tomorrow. Headed to a friends house for tonight and tomorrow. Will try hard to avoid the inevitable junk food temptations - packing lots of healthy snacks! Wont be able to weigh tomorrow at my usual time so fingers crossed I can maintain progress while out of town.

09/09 - 205!! Oy vey... Three pounds up. Not really sure why, I stuck to my diet while out of town. I had a couple glasses of wine throughout the weekend but made sure it was within ny macro/calorie allowance. I did eat all restaurant meals so maybe it's salt causing water retention or maybe I underestimated calories in restaurant salads. I'm really bummed out. My first challenge ending with a gain AND my first challenge where I achieved my several-year-lowest-weight of 202. *Sigh* Going to use this as motivation to exercise hard today and stick well to my diet. @arlak21 & @Anlaing016 Isn’t it great to have someone to do this with? When I was staying with @MBabydoll we ate the same things and went to the gym together. My gym buddy at home has family issues and has sort of pooped out on the gym.
