9/2-168-Not bad after the weekend. Not much exercise lately. I’ll go for a big walk this morning and be back on track.
9/3-169-Hmm-I read about reducing visceral fat by walking so fast that you’re winded. I did that for 5 miles yesterday and thought I was going to die! My back was hurting. I am going to try for my normal 7 miles this morning at a comfortable pace and some swimming that stretches my back.
9/4-167-I got a big walk in yesterday and ate pretty good. I have been quilting a lot and I sit a lot doing that. 1/2 walk and swim today.
9/5-167–Whew! Yesterday I stopped in the quilt store they asked me to stay for a birthday party and I ended up eating cake for breakfast! After that I went home and got some protein. Birthday party at a Mexican restaurant tonight. Yikes!
9/6-167-Whew, again! Walked 7 miles yesterday, ate good, then went to a birthday dinner at Mexican restaurant. I did pretty good with food, and had a piece of cake and drank water instead of the pitchers of margaritas that were passed around.
9/7-166-Walked 5 miles and did a ton of housework. Glad to be down today (Saturday), I’ll probably behave myself.
9/8-165-good food choices and no alcohol over the weekend.
9/9–166-salty food.

09/01: 306.2 lbs (-3.6) … sweet, sweet uptick recovery. New low… with this weight I’ve now lost 80 lbs! Completed Couch to 5k Week 3 Day 2 this morning.
09/02: 305.9 lbs (-0.3) … it’s been a good 3 day weekend!
09/03: 305.8 lbs (-0.1) … I’m glad to see that these weigh ins aren’t a fluke! Completed Couch to 5k Week 3 Day 3 this morning.
09/04: 308.1 lbs (+2.3) … upticks happen, but I’m glad that I’m still under my round starting weight by a decent amount.
09/05: 307.5 lbs (-0.6) … bit better today. It would have been lower if I hadn’t ate closer to maintenance yesterday. Had a huge appetite for some reason.
09/06: 306.2 lbs (-1.3) … more uptick recovery. I’ve been eating more than usual for the past two days due to an increased appetite. Wednesday was still below budget when accounting for exercise calories and yesterday was a bit over budget. Glad to see that it’s not negatively affecting my morning weigh ins. Completed Couch to 5k Week 4 Day 1 this morning. Jogging intervals were pushed to alternating 3 minutes / 5 minutes, and I certainly felt those longer intervals in my legs.
09/07: 306.8 lbs (+0.6) … ate a bigger dinner last night, that’s likely all this is. Hopefully it’ll drop tomorrow a bit.
09/08: 306.4 lbs (-0.4) … kind of hovering around the same weight now, which is fine. Completed Couch to 5k Week 4 Day 2 this morning. Still very tiring. I may end up needing to repeat a day before W5D3’s 20 minutes of jogging with no walking. We’ll see how the rest of this week goes.
09/09: 307.8 lbs (+1.4) … missed my goal by 0.1 lbs. Oh well, this fluctuation will likely drop off in the next day or two.

08/31 166.7 Up a little more than I had hoped. I'm sure it's sodium. I went to the gym and lifted weights, then rode the bike for 45 minutes.
09/01 Didn't weigh Went to a party and ate too much taco bake. Wasn't bad on sweets so that's something but again, the sodium.
09/02 Didn't weigh House cleaning was my only workout and I didn't track it.
09/03 167.9 This weekend was not good for me food-wise. I ate at weird times and not real meals but lots of snacks. Healthy snacks for the most part but not real meals. My stomach is really unhappy with my food choices and made this known to me this morning. I came to work an hour late, but I'm here. I went to the gym on Saturday but that was it for the entire 3 day weekend. I just can't get motivated to ride the bike like walking outside. Thursday will be 4 weeks with only one real walk. My leg is definitely better but not normal.
09/04 169.4 SODIUM BOMB. I went crazy yesterday on sodium. Today I weigh 2 pounds more than I did yesterday. I know it's water retention since I didn't eat enough to gain 2 pounds overnight. Water, water, water is the theme of the day. Even knowing it's not real "weight" I was not happy to see that number. Rode the bike for an hour last night, going back tonight for another hour. The weather has cooled down a little, I want to walk but I'll wait a few more days.
09/05 169.5 I was within calorie goal yesterday but didn't drink as much water as I should have. I went to the gym but had no energy and only rode the bike for 30 minutes, even that was a challenge. I don't know if it's MS fatigue or if I'm starting to get sick. Time will tell. Keep up the good fight ya'll.
09/06 169.4 No real change. I drank 70 oz of water so I had hoped that combined with eating at goal, that I might have a whoosh but I guess not. Weightloss is fickle. I did not exercise, I ran out of time with a meeting and getting dinner. Yesterday was 4 weeks since I pulled my hamstring. Resting for 4 weeks is the recommended period so I will be walking this weekend. I need it, my mental state is not good. I am stressing out about things that don't normally get to me. The bike is nice but doesn't have the mental recuperative powers that walking outside does for me.
09/07 169.0 Walked 2.25 miles Friday night and my leg hurt on Saturday. I have a doctors appt on Friday afternoon, I think I will just hold off on walking until I talk to him. It's so depressing.
09/08 168.7 Picked up the baby (toddler) and went to the park. She is a monkey girl! Climbed up the rock wall and wouldn't come down. I had to literally peel her away, she got to the top turned around and smiled at me like I am never coming down. That personality is challenging and I hope she never loses the attitude.

09/04 - 222.6 - See? Plus I was home yesterday and feeling particularly lazy. Getting my butt in gear as of today! I want to get close to my weight goal this round
09/05 - 222.8 - Ugh, the first day in a long time I went over 200g of carbs. On a positive note, I made my step goal and had a great walk with my son.
09/06 - 222.4 - I can't wait to get out of the 220's. I'm frustrated because I know that I'm not making the best choices this week. I'm making mostly good choices with some not so great sprinkled in. Chips are my kryptonite and when I buy them for the kids I end up overeating them (I don't like to deprive myself, but I'll eat 2 bags instead of 1). Also, I've been so beat at the end of the day and unmotivated to exercise. I know that I'll feel better once I do, but I just don't....I know this will pass. It could just be my TOM making me feel this way as well. I should be proud that I've quit smoking and drinking for 2 months and have not been shoving everything I can in my face...
09/07 - 222.6 - Looking back on the week, I wasn't so bad. I'm entering this on Monday so I already know that I've blown the week over this weekend. I really think it's the TOM (TMI, but I'm never sure because of my IUD, I just know by how much I'm craving snacks, bloating and how emotional I feel)
09/08 - DNW - Went out for lunch and had alcohol for the first time in 2 months. I enjoyed my time with friends I haven't been able to spend time with in a while, but I know I went a little overboard with food.
09/09 - 226.2 - Aaannndd here are the consequences of my actions to close out these past 10 days. I'm getting back on track but I need to get it together on the weekends. They are ruining my progress. Also, I need to get back into exercising. I've taken a couple weeks off and cannot afford to take any more. I'm not feeling great about myself.6 -

@deepwoodslady It’s a lovely gesture by the neighbor but WE need to get up the courage to share that we don’t eat certain items. My issue is a neighbor who is only around one weekend a month and feels she must bring us food. Dates, figs, cupcakes, a bag of oranges - all not on my WOE. Glad you liked the article. I think @HoopsGuy72 should read it, too, if he hasn’t.3

09/02: 135.6 lbs - Probably dehydrated and still not eating much. This will most likely go back up a little but this is my favorite number, it comes around every now and then to get me excited but it never sticks around. Yet .
09/03: 136.6 lbs - Still resting my body, no working out for me for a few days, maybe the whole week. The kids start back to school this week, it's going to be a zoo figuring out the new schedules. Going to eat well and get lots of rest.

09/09: 136.8 lbs - avoided the scale all week. Been sick and fell off the horse, ate pretty much whatever I felt like eating and just worked out on the weekends. Think I might have to bite the bullet and go to the doctor but I'm betting she will just say it's a sinus infection and it'll be gone in a few more days. Pretty ok with the end result of this challenge since I expected it to be worse after my week.

08/31 - out of town DNW. Went to a friend's wedding and had a lot of fun. Managed to stay keto despite all the delicious looking temptations. Went for a hike before the wedding, so got a little exercise in
09/01 - out of town DNW. Went wedding dress shopping and the store had only three dresses that fit me 😭 most of their samples were street size equivalent 10 and below. I felt really crappy and embarrassed and also just stressed about how I'm going to find a dress I like if I cant even see what they look like on me. But I'm trying to move past it and start looking for wedding stores that carry bigger sizes. Made it home this afternoon and some friends stayed the night with us. They made cocktails and cookies and got a giant bag of peanut m&ms... All things I love and I kept wanting to give in but I didn't. So I have that positive to hold onto from today
09/02 - 204.4! First weigh in after two days away. A little bit up but not as high as I had feared. I looked so big yesterday in those dresses, I thought for sure I gained back. Now to hopefully make progress in the other direction! Doing lots of chores today but will try to exercise and stick to my calorie goals.
09/03 - 204.6 up again. I'm surprised it's not higher because I feel SO bloated this morning. I dont know why. Hopefully with exercise and good diet today, I can reverse this and start to go down a little
09/04 - 203.4! I can't believe it! So happy, I hope I'm able to keep this up and this isn't just a quick blip down before bouncing back up again. Had a lot of trouble focusing at work yesterday, trying to do better today. Sticking to my diet and hoping to get a good youtube workout in today. Yesterday I did a popsugar video that I liked, so maybe I'll see what other videos they have.
09/05 - 202.4! Wow, I'm so surprised but happy. Didnt exercise yesterday but I will definitely exercise today. Try to give my legs a break as they will get an intense workout tomorrow. Going to make healthy choices today and try to hold on to this loss
09/06 - 202! Oh man, was totally expecting to flux back up. Really happy that hasnt happened (yet!). Super intense workout today, can barely walk. Going to stretch a lot and take it easy tomorrow. Headed to a friends house for tonight and tomorrow. Will try hard to avoid the inevitable junk food temptations - packing lots of healthy snacks! Wont be able to weigh tomorrow at my usual time so fingers crossed I can maintain progress while out of town.

09/09 - 205!! Oy vey... Three pounds up. Not really sure why, I stuck to my diet while out of town. I had a couple glasses of wine throughout the weekend but made sure it was within ny macro/calorie allowance. I did eat all restaurant meals so maybe it's salt causing water retention or maybe I underestimated calories in restaurant salads. I'm really bummed out. My first challenge ending with a gain AND my first challenge where I achieved my several-year-lowest-weight of 202. *Sigh* Going to use this as motivation to exercise hard today and stick well to my diet. Hopefully next challenge goes better!7 -

@arlak21 & @Anlaing016 Isn’t it great to have someone to do this with? When I was staying with @MBabydoll we ate the same things and went to the gym together. My gym buddy at home has family issues and has sort of pooped out on the gym.

8/31 181.5 (-1.5) level was very low. Food intake was good, managed to hit the gym and give it my all.
9/1 181.5 +/- 0 Went to the gym with SIL, some cardio, shoulders, and back. I was craving carbs today.
9/2 182 +.5 Gym day included cardio and legs @anlaing016 has strong legs and pushed me to the limit. Who needs to walk on arm day right?
9/3 180.5 (-1.5) Boot camp in the morning and 45 minutes of cardio. Meal prepped early in the day to keep myself on track.

@untrachelable Between the salt and the wine carbs, lots of water retention. The 1 cup (8 oz) of wine left behind by my DGD had 19g of carbs! That’s almost my daily limit. I tasted it and dumped it down the drain!5

8/31 NWI Up before 5AM! BPC on board. Back to Long Beach and fly home. Will add final weight on 9/1 which might be up due to travel but will be fine. Still fit in my size 4 shorts - good thing because that’s all I brought! El Pollo Loco double chicken avocado salad. Half for lunch when we got home and half for dinner after picking up DGD and her friends at the airport, taking them for groceries and dropping them at their hotel.
9/1 122.0 Back home in my own bed last night. Ship’s beds are comfortable but there’s no place like home!
9/2 122.0 I didn’t drink enough water on the ship last week because I failed to take my larger water glass. Now need to get back at it. I’ve caught up on the posts from the time I logged in last night. Missed 137 posts in the last round but c’est la vie.
9/3 DNW Three 22 year olds in the house (DGD#2 and 2 of her high school friends made there annual girls trip to Las Vegas.) We gave them the hall bathroom which is where the scale is. It was in use when I got up early. My tummy is very grumpy this morning. Yesterday OMAD at Golden Corral, no snacks except cream in my coffee.
9/4 122.0 Realized in the evening that I had not had my BPC in the morning as one of the girls was sleeping on the couch. Bouncing back is harder when you get older- even a few months older. All of this travel is having an impact also. Being with Mbabydoll was the BEST! I know I can do this. Making good choices with an occasional treat works. I did drink more water.
9/5 123.0 UGH This is the result of fries at lunch with the kids on Tuesday and the potato chips I DID eat on Tuesday night before they went in the disposal! Drank at least a gallon of water. Had to get some groceries so now I can make a salad again. Recover begins today!

9/7 122.0 Ugh, I was up several times during the night with diarrhea (sorry if TMI) Yesterday was a good day - recalled airbag replaced, went to Arts & Crafts at our community center.

@quiltingjaine Yes, I love that we are on this journey together, I’ve been going to a boot camp type of gym for the past 2 years. I’ve gone with @Anlaing016 a few times to 24 hour fitness, starting to feel a little more comfortable with that.4

08/31 - 123.4 :: was very active and unintentionally ate far lower than my calorie limit because of being busy through out the day. Made healthy choices. Last round was slow progress. This is a kicker to start with.
09/01 - 124.4 :: last drop was surprising, seems numbers evened out. Over calorie limit by < 100 cals. Not very active. Ate healthy.
09/02 - 124.4 :: ate a bit higher than calorie limit, <50 cals. Decently active. Ate healthy. Breakfast choice of Sago was very calorific, be cautious next time.
09/03 - 123.6 :: Ate in calorie limit, ate planned snack and controlled portions. Not very active.

Round 88 – August 31 to September 9
Female, 5’, 66 years. Fall always seems more like the beginning of a new year for me than Jan.1. Summer is pretty much finished and time to plan what I’ll be involved in for the winter. So I looked back over the last year to see how my weight ups and downs had gone. It’s pretty obvious: stress = weight gain, increased activity = weight loss, for me. I’m not ready to go back to the gym till October but goal this round will be to add exercises at home + more yard work (want to be finished with that so much that I can almost taste it – but just have to keep plugging). Other goals – finish log each day, only yogurt or fruit in the evening and nothing after 9 p.m. SW – 162.4, GW – 161.4, UGW – 140. (This really should be 125 or 130 but that seems like such a long ways to go and 140 would be a huge improvement.)

09/02 – 162.8 – Relax day yesterday and did not manage to track or exercise but ate fairly reasonably. Today is already better – made myself do some exercises before breakfast, seems that is the only way to get them in, and decided to make that my habit goal. It seems the only way to keep my waistline from “relaxing outward” is exercise that area. Otherwise my posture goes and waist is bigger even if my weight is the same and I’m getting other exercise like walking.
09/03 – 162.6 Pretty good day for calories but sadly did not log all. No LNS though, even though I was tempted. Ten min. stretching exercises but not abs. Three hours yard work.
09/04 – 162.8 Logged all, only a peach with fat free yogurt in the evening, warmup exercises but didn’t get any further. About 4.5 hrs. digging out old flower beds. The one spot is such slow going – grass, thyme, moss, lilac suckers, etc. Suddenly had an idea last night after supper – work in a different bed – it went so much faster and could keep working as it got dark because it is under one of the house lights!
09/05 – 163 – Did do my morning exercises but then had to do a ‘quick’ writing project before working outside. Ended up spending the day on it with a little left for today so no further exercise. Did not log all cals. but most and kept them reasonable.
09/06 – 163.8 – Thought I might have a drop as got a lot of exercise yesterday. Did eat back some of the cals. though. Logged all cals., warmup exercises, 4+ hours digging out flowerbeds. Rainy today and my arm is sore so taking it easy and tidying house.
09/07 – 162.8 – Warm up exercises, no LNS, kept track of eating but MFP would just show the basic screen for logging stuff and would not record so gave up on that. Raining so no outside exercise.

09/09 – 162.2 Was so happy to see this number again even though it is only a miniscule amount down from my start weight. I guess I was scared the 1.5 lb bump up in the middle was going to stay. See you all next round.6 -

I quickly ate EXACTLY what my doctor recommended, 1 slice of bread with peanut butter & about 8 oz milk (2%). It definitely felt like I was saving my life when I was poking it in and drinking the milk too. So I am up a bit which feels pretty unfair. Otherwise I had a great day – on point with diet and exercise that I’d planned. Yesterday’s stats before the small & quick carb snack: 1118 Calories In / 2460 Calories burned. 32 Net carbs mainly spaghetti squash casserole. 11,850 Total Steps & 5.01 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 12 minutes. I walked at moderate pace for 36 minutes, I did misc yard work, painting & general outdoor chores for 67 minutes. I danced last night for 17 minutes, Sample Song “Jealous” by Nick Jonas. Total extra calories burned 616.
09/08 …..193.4 ….. It may have dropped if not for that zucchini bread my neighbor baked & brought over. Oh my! Yesterday’s stats: 1987 Calories In / 2907 Calories Out. 17,220 Total Steps & 7.29 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours & I slept a whopping 6 hours & 10 minutes and I am so tired today. Probably from the carbs on the bread yesterday evening. I did some light cabin cleaning & housework for 110 minutes including some painting. I did some yard work for 40 minutes. I did some low impact aerobics for 30 minutes (instead of dance) and I walked at moderate pace for 69 minutes. Total extra calorie burn was 1229.
09/09 …..193.6 ….. No TMI, so its probably a normal fluctuation. I’m ending exactly where I started so I didn’t make goal – a wash. However, better than a gain! Yesterday was my day off of any extra activity to give my body a shake-up & rest. However, I did clean a tourist cabin for about 33 minutes burning an extra 120 over normal day. Yesterday’s stats: 1681 Calories In / 2532 Calories burned. 44 Carbs. 12,074 Total Steps & 5.11 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 11 minutes and woke up running busy with my business but still so tired. The zucchini bread again!?!? Things are slowing down a bit this month for tourism now that typical vacation time is over. I will have to pick up extra movement & exercise to make up for it. Great Job everyone this round. So many has made goals or maintained and I am so proud of us all!!!!!

Seeing a nutritionist today, hoping for some guidance on what to eat and how much. Overall a good 10 days with a -2lb delta. 8/31: 197.8 (+/- 0) I didn’t think yesterday was horrible but I guess it wasn’t great. Weighed in today after my light breakfast. But not gaining is ok by me. Guess I’ll make this a 9 day challenge.
9/1: 199.0 (+1.2) well this challenge isn’t working so much so far. I did good all day yesterday. Even went to a wedding and didn’t eat. Ate McDonalds late but only half the food. Still early. Still hopeful
9/2: 198.2 (-.8) not to bad. Had a good workout yesterday. But ate a lot of junk food in small quantity. Mostly because I had a late lunch/ early dinner and was getting hungry. As long as it’s going down. Hopefully I can get back to my starting weight
9/3: 197.6 (-.6) yesterday wasn’t great but wasn’t horrible. Today is my daughters birthday and she’s requesting carb overload for birthday dinner. I’ll try to control myself. But sometimes there has to be risk to get a reward.
9/4: 198.0 (+.4) not to bad for celebrating my youngest daughters birthday with carb overload. I did my best to have portion control. But I also hadn’t eaten most of the day knowing most my calories would be going to dinner. Plus also haven’t slept much the past few days. Going to hit the gym and hope I can work it off.
9/5: 198.4 (+.4) guess working out and eating good only lasts for so long. Seems whenever I get to a low and maintain what I’ve been doing my body decides to gain. I’ve had this problem for a long time. It’s starting to look like I’ll never get where I wish to be. And it’s not just muscle gaining from weight training. Just like my life in general. When I start to see some good light darkness quickly takes over.
9/6: 198.0 (-.4) weighed in kind of late today. Didn’t have much motivation or drive to do it this morning. But I did. No matter the results I will stick through it. And with the help of a few people I will stay positive and keep pushing towards my goal no matter how long it takes. The best results are in the mirror not the scale. And I just have to remind myself of that daily. One day at a time with my accountability partners I’ll get there. Thanks! (They know who they are)

09/01: 206.8 day 3 of the same weight! I am definitely not complaining considering it's a long weekend here in Canada and weekends aren't usually the best for my eating habits. I do try and stick within my maintenance calories at the very least but I'm doing pretty well so far this weekend Usually I would've gained a couple of lbs in water today lol.
09/02: 206.5 I still can't believe I haven't had any water gains. I stayed within my calorie goals yesterday but my calorie goal is set at 1670; I usually try to stay around 1400 per day during the week. I'm going to kill it this week (after today) haha!

8/31: 224.0 (-1.6)/18.9 (-0.2). A reward from heaven because I finally went to the gym? I went out to dinner with my wife, and split a sandwich with her. It was relatively healthy, but my willingness to portion control was what made my night a success.
9/1: 225.6 (+1.6)/19.1 (+0.2). I did my best last night with what I could regarding food (quality/quantity), at least as much as I could while out at a restaurant I love. It's likely my previous weigh-in was a slight exaggeration (weighed late) and that it was affected by me working out the night before. I'm going to the gym this morning, and I'm going to try my best to keep things under control today (wife's birthday party). If I have alcohol, it will be in the form of a mixed drink or two (spirit + diet soda). Going to the gym this morning (right now) to try to give myself a little wiggle room tonight. Oh, and to get myself into good habits! :-)
9/2: 225.6 (0.0)/19.1 (0.0). I went to bed late last night and got up late this morning, so this number is potentially a little bit under what it should be. I did pretty well yesterday at my wife's birthday party; I planned out what I was going to eat before I ate it (for the most part). I had one beer, but other than that it was all spirits + diet soda. I couldn't resist a tiny slice of the best carrot cake I have ever had (homemade by my sister-in-law). I also hit the gym before going to the party, which made it twice in three days that I made it there. I think I can sustain three times per week: Friday (with my wife), Sunday, and Tuesday, with basketball starting up this coming Saturday. I'll shoot for three times times at the gym, but I'll feel successful even if I can make it twice per week. Coming out of the weekend (particularly given two celebrations for wife's B-Day) still at my starting weight for the round feels like a pretty significant accomplishment.
9/3: 226.0 (+0.4)/19.1 (0.0). This is probably the right number, and not bad for the weekend I just had. I'm feeling okay right now, but this is going to be a stressful week. Trying to stay focused...
9/4: 226.2 (+0.2)/19.2 (+0.1). Last night (and much of my waking hours) was spent worrying about what was going to happen today (I'll talk about that tomorrow). I am pretty sure that I ate within calories (and according to plan), and I know that my weigh-in does not always reflect my previous day's efforts. Eat that, scale!
9/5: 224.0 (-2.2)/18.9 (-0.3). WHOOSH!!!. There's no good reason for this, and who cares!?!?!? I was above my calorie goal yesterday, but below maintenance. I have a lot of workplace stress right now; a coworker is basically trying to get me fired because she did not like that I reported her inappropriate behavior, and I'm being investigated as a result (my stressful day yesterday was meeting with the investigator). I'm going to the gym either tonight or tomorrow night, and basketball is FINALLY BACK! Saturday will be my first time in over two months (problem with gym permit).
9/6: 223.2 (-0.8)/18.8 (-0.1). This is the lowest weight I've been in months. I'm going to try not to get too excited about a number (just as I don't get too upset about a number), but I can't help but feel good about this. On a side note, I HATE the way my body looks as I lose weight. I tend to see losses first in areas I DON'T want to lose (thinning out of legs, shoulders, arms), and I don't see ANY CHANGES around the belly area. Weight training only exaggerates this, unfortunately (I love to lift, both upper and lower body). To make things even more fun, my wife loves to point out changes in my legs in particular (though she has not done this yet during THIS cycle, to her credit). The good news is that I generally know how this process goes. At about 215 my face thins out a bit, and when I get below 210 I start to notice a change in the midsection. I just need to stick with the process and utilize my delayed gratification skills and patience. And continue to stay accountable, of course! This group feels like the only thing that really works for me, in addition to a supportive friend or two (who also happen to be in this group!).
9/7: 223.4 (+0.2)/18.9 (+0.1). I went out for sushi last night and did pretty well. Mostly stuck to sashimi (no rice), clams, and mussels. I got peer-pressured into three small shots of sake, but overall I'm pretty pleased with the way I handled myself. I did my best to track, but I am pretty sure I overestimated my calories by quite a bit. Basketball happened today, but I'll talk about that tomorrow morning
9/8: 223.4 (0.0)/18.9 (0.0). I played basketball yesterday, and I felt like I was playing "beach" basketball. I was exhausted. I couldn't move. I didn't expect it, but I can't be surprised by it. 2.5 months of no basketball = THIS. Still, even a bad day at basketball is a pretty good day. Eating was a bit of an afterthought, though I did log to the best of my ability (and I'm 99% sure I was significantly under calories considering how much I know I burned). I went to bed VERY late, so I'm taking this weigh-in with a grain of salt (expected a loss). That being said, I was also a little surprised that I didn't have a worse weigh-in yesterday, given the "all-you-can-eat" sushi experience I had the night before. This weigh-in (unexpectedly up) is what I was talking about yesterday @arlak21 ... I'm not trying to curse you, but sometimes some context can help make sense of otherwise confusing information. Basketball days are (in my mind) supposed to lead to a good weigh-in the next day (edited weight in post because I misread it... need to get the old eyes checked... again).
9/9: 223.8 (+0.4)/18.9 (0.0). I thought about complaining/being a little upset, but I'm going for half-full at this point. From Friday morning to Monday morning I gained 0.6 lbs. THAT IS FANTASTIC (for me). Weekends are the DEVIL, and I did okay. On to the next!

When we left Nicaragua on Aug 5, I weighed 140, came back home Aug 2, still 140. Then within 4 days I gained 3.5 lbs. Weird, but true...lol. So, I'm back to logging on this forum.

9/7 - 156.5 - the last 2 days at work were awful. The bright side is that I was able to do OMAD. The down side was no “movement” for several days and so much stress that I didn’t sleep well. Got to crash last night & sleep in today then out of bed to get things moving. Have to stay strong & focused this weekend so I can finish this 10 days strong. I’m starting to wonder how the stress hormones are related to cravings. Any insight?
9/8 - DNW - craved Mexican so bad yesterday, ate it last night, pay for it later. BPC to start the day.
9/9 - DNW - if I trusted this scale, I would say I’ve lost 10# in 2 days! Lol! I’ll start round 89 with a fresh weight tomorrow. My other numbers are steady. Staying the course.

08/31 126.4 Well the 1.6 lb whoosh at the end of the round went right back up to previous weight so as usual have to wipe out the gain at the beginning before showing anything for the round - LOL. Dinner out the night before was heavy on sodium/carbs (although guesstimated calories were under), so may come back down after a day or so. Tried Xtrain today (20 min spin/tabata body weight exercises)!
09/01 126.4 Well at least it did not go up! Only 2.6 lbs away from Healthy BMI! patience, patience patience...
09/02 126.6 Up, but according to scale the gain is muscle and not body fat so will take this as a plus - LOL. Typical pattern after a whoosh - exercise has been great as well as calories so expect the upward pattern will break in the next day or so. Just to repeat again, but as long as the number of drops/amounts are more than the stalls/increases I will be making forward progress!
09/03 126.6 same. anyway another whoosh... pasta for dinner (aglio & olio with shrimp) with 2 servings of linguine (refeed/cheat day :-) but within macros. Tried foam rolling today for first time! Definitely adding that to my workout repertoire!
09/04 124.8 Back to weight at end of round so breaking even at this point. Spin class and then later this evening some ab work. Hopefully weight will stay around in the 124-125 range and not bounce back up in the 126's. Overall loss rate is still stable.
09/05 125.4 up, but typical, so not worried. NSV is that this is 5 pounds below what MFP or Pacer predicted for this day 5 weeks ago! (neither used exercise calories and I do not eat those back). Saw the nutritionist today and no tweaks to diet/exercise at this point so at current rate should reach goal weight in November and will retest BMR for maintenance plan. Good strength/cardio workout today followed by foam rolling and sauna so hope no DOMS and water retention tomorrow! Need to catch up on sleep - took an hour nap before dinner tonight so going to try to get to bed earlier tonight!
09/06 124.4 Yeah!!! new low! It is my third time to cross milestone 11 (125.0 lbs) on the Happy Scale app so really hoping that this time I stay below 125. - third time is the charm - no? Workout today Latin dance class before work and then a 30 minute spin class during lunch. Calories good for the day, but Fri/Sat are the days I allow wine with dinner/after (if within calorie budget - I split alcohol calories over carb/fat to be accountable) so hoping don't get a bump from that at tomorrow's weigh in. Challenge tomorrow will be that we are having friends over for dinner so will try to get to the gym for XTrain at 9:15 plus weights.
09/07 123.6 Happy Dance!!!! First time weight is below cut off for healthy BMI (25)! (Major STG reached!!!!) Did XTrain this am which may help to balance the dinner tonight with friends. Definitely over budget, but will treat as a refeed/cheat day! Most of meal was within macros, but made Dulce de Leche ice cream with salted macadamia nuts and had to try some! Life is too short to not enjoy treats now and then! Besides there is always the gym tomorrow or the next day. I have had ups, but usually quick to come back off as long as I keep up exercise. Body should definitely be refueled for Weights and Cycle tomorrow!
09/08 124.4 Well expected this :-) all within the realm of day-to-day variation with water fluctuations. Went to gym for XTrain at 9, and then followed up with the last workout in Strong Stage 1. Calories are good for the day so far and expect that I'll be back below BMI of 25 in the near future.
09/09 123.2 Happy Dance Take 2!!! Below BMI of 25 again (STG!!!) and back to healthy weight category, which I did not really expect to reach this round given the increase at the start. Likely will be up tomorrow 'cuz that has happened the last three rounds LOL! Started Girl Power class today (twice a week until Oct 2) so excited to have some more formal instruction with squats, dead lifts and bench press with barbells + TRX. Will be working on that while my trainer is out of town. NSV: a colleague who had not seen me since last spring asked some of the others in the dept if I had been running marathons or what happened! Nice to see the consistent work is paying off. Every time I do step ups with two 25 lb dumbbells I am reminded of how much weight I was carrying around at the beginning of the year. Great feeling to leave it on the rack at the end of the workout!
