    Success(es): Definitely stronger!!!

Struggles: more hunger. Scale keeps creeping up...

Thinking about: My PT thinks I’m better at the 156-157 range, but even though I feel - and am - much stronger, I feel “porky”round the middle...

Moving avg is up 0.4 in Aug.
Moving average is up 3.1 lbs in 244 days for 2019. Or 44.5 calories too much per day in 2019 or 10,846 calories. 122 days (1/3 of year) left in 2019. So I should cut by 89 calories per day to get back to 155 by 1/1/2020.

Current plan: Keep at it until solidly under 155. Then revisit Maintenance Range goal.

Keeping my long term successes in mind, so I remain positive.

I hope you all have a great September!

I am leaving for a two week trip to a couple of different places, road tripping to visit friends and family at the end of next week, so it’s probably a good thing I am at a lower number right now!

Success of the week: My average weight did not increase, and even though I had a spike today, the trend is still down back towards my actual goal weight, where the scale was a week ago.

Struggle of the week: I had a big spike on Monday that was expecting. The one from today must just be fiber from all the shiitake I cooked and ate last night.

I posted my data this morning. Rain drove me back in from working in the garden, and while I took a break, I decided to look back at the last 20 months or so -- back to the beginning of 2018 when I got serious about my weight loss journey. It really made me a bit more relaxed about the bumps up I've been noticing. I still need to pay attention if I am serious about moving that little up/down cycle a few tiny more pounds towards zero, and it would probably be really healthy for me to accept that it may not and that maintaining where I am currently is SO much better than what I was doing for the five or so years before that.

Zooming out every once in a while really puts the current battles we're fighting in perspective. May I ask what your height is, and is that showing your maintenance range as 141-146?

In the past 4 years, I've tried to get in better shape by being more active (gym, running, cycling) on most days, but my weight constantly hovered at around 155 lbs. Since that didn't seem to be enough, starting in May, I decided to exercise everyday, lifting weights for 4 days, running for 2, and cycling on Sundays. This got me to around 150 lbs, but I still far from my ideal running weight of 140.

Then I discovered CICO from this reddit post https://old.reddit.com/r/Fitness/comments/c9sgqc/102_lifting_resources_you_may_find_useful/, and on July 4, started weighing and logging my meals and recording my weight daily.

Starting with a weight of 150.6 lbs on July 4, I stuck to a daily calorie intake of around 1700 cals up to the end of August. I hit my lowest weight on August 31 at 136.5 lbs. Since then I've upped my calories to 1800 in the first week of September, and 1900 since then. These past two weeks, my weight stabilized at 136.5 to 138.5 lbs.

I've been using the "TDEE 3.0" worksheet that I got from this community. Here's my data since July 4, if anyone's interested. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18qckK8UGBKWP_qWxbUWhIjXhN0aJmoYL8ZLAb0oIn9A/edit?usp=sharing

And here's my Libra chart for the past 2 months.

Used to be about 5'8", but with degenerating discs and all, I'm a little under 5'7" now. That green shading isn't mine; it's their arbitrary band. I am trying to get to 142-148, and I guess I'm there but want to get closer to the low end. It's SO much easier to bump up than down.

I'm 5' 8" and wondering where I'll settle my range as I inch down under 150 over the next little while. Soon enough! I'm leaning towards putting 149 as the top of my range.

Well, might as well check in. Hope to join the ranks of maintainers again in the next 6 months. Weight of today 193. Actually seeing SOME progress with the weight gain. Light at the end of the tunnel stuff. Just letting my body and lifestyle dictate my weight. Actually no longer overly concerned with weight. Just being happy. Strange, when you hit near rock bottom, just being happy at times feels amazing. Visiting a local TOPS chapter. Won't let me join until I am at GOAL weight, but they are nice supportive people. Actually wanted me to present an educational class on the various weight loss diets out there. OHHH boy, they have no idea what they are in for. I have spent the last 2 years studying this stuff. Good lord help them. Bless ya'll
