9/10 166.1 I'm in a similar place I was last round on day 1. Getting ready to travel for work with my BF in tow for a few days. I must say NO to all sodium heavy things. At least I'm seeing my man. He hasn't had to travel for 3 weeks in a row!
9/11 165.9 Yeah!!! No BF after all. EDIT: The yeah is for the weight, not the missing BF.
9/12 No Scale I was happy to be down yesterday! I'm sad my BF isn't here with me but I woke up a little sick so maybe it's better he's not here I was under on calories yesterday and lifted weights last night. Going back tonight to ride the stationary bike. No scale until Saturday. I have a doctors appt tomorrow afternoon. I hope he can tell me something good about my leg. I miss walking so much.
9/13 No scale Went to the gym last night and did over 12 miles. I'm consistently doing 5-minute miles now. The location I went to has new stationary bikes that have scales built-in so no more put in your weight, it came up 165 pounds without my help. I hope that was accurate because it meant I wasn't retaining too much water! It was after work so not my regular weighing time but I was happy. I don't remember what the scale said the last time I was the docs but I think I'll be down around 20 or 25 pounds. I should be able to spend a lot of time with my BF this weekend AND my friend Mark that has been staying with me recovering since July 9th is going to try to leave on Monday. Fingers crossed ladies. I love him like a brother but he's a brother that's been living on my couch for 2 months. Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!
9/14 165.9 Played at the park with the baby for almost two hours! Dinner date with boyfriend. Great night
9/15 165.5 Easy Sunday. I went fishing this morning, then brunch with girlfriends. Afterward, one friend and I went to a couple of estate sales. Doc said no tear in my muscle, stay off of it another couple of weeks.
9/16 167.2 Went a little crazy last night, not a pound and a half worth so this should drop in a day or two. The only "workout" was a little housework yesterday. That and a lot of walking around at estate sales . I'm going to go ride the bike at the gym tonight. Maybe go a little extra. The doc was very happy with my weight loss and blood work numbers. He said just keep doing what I'm doing. He said no tear in my muscle, and to stay off of it another couple of weeks. He gave me some exercises to do and if staying off and the exercises don't help to come back.
9/17 165.5 I did not go to the gym. I have a cold/sinus thing happening and had no energy for the gym. Driving back to StL this afternoon. I've been traveling a lot the last 6 weeks and have missed weighing in on the last day. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night due to my nose being on a constant drip. It's going to be a long drive today. At least I have a good book. I doubt I'll go to the gym tonight. I have meetings tomorrow I need to be prepared for, so I'll probably just get dinner and go back to my second home. I've had the same goal weight for 3 rounds, it would be nice to hit it because TOM water retention is going to start and that delays me again. It's not a race, it's not a race, it's not a race.
9/18 No Scale Stayed within calories yesterday. I didn't go to the gym (no need to get my germs on everything) but I did walk around a mall for an hour. I just didn't want to be at the hotel all night. I had one of my favorite dinners at Crushed Red (half Health Nut salad and half Fire Roasted Veggie pizza comes in at 372 calories!). Does anyone else find they're eating less meat? I'm not doing it on purpose I eat what sounds good and is within calorie goals. I don't feel like I'm missing it - just curious. Also, my friend is not leaving for another 2 weeks.
9/19 No Scale Stayed within goal. I really wish I could weigh but I'm feeling a little heavy this morning so maybe it's good. I won't know until Saturday. Very annoying. Congrats and hugs to everyone on the final day of this Round. See you next time9 -

9/10: 223.8 (0.0)/18.9 (0.0). No change is a good thing. Feeling a little bloated and/or "off" this morning. Not sure what it is, but I know my wife is sick or getting sick. I probably did not make good food choices yesterday, but I stayed within my calorie goal. EDIT: In the interest of being completely accountable, I have to acknowledge that I am not feeling particulary motivated today. I was going to just ignore it (I didn't write about it in my first draft of my post), but I really don't want to "get lost" again. I need to be here, probably more on my bad days than my good.
9/11: 224.2 (+0.4)/18.9 (0.0). I'm going to chalk up this weigh-in to the mood I started out with yesterday. I think I recovered relatively well as the day went by, and I didn't make any horrible food choices (except the "later" night coconut paleta). I kind of needed that paleta; it was delicious! My wife and I will be headed to the gym tonight (she is feeling better @mrs_sutsie ). I'm mostly feeling better, too. The gym means I can get a salad tonight from Cook's Tortas, which is always an amazing experience (you know what I'm talking about @Anlaing016 ).
9/12: 222.8 (-1.4)/18.8 (-0.1). I did not make it to the gym last night, but I'm going to go today. I was under my goal for calories last night, and pretty on-target with my macros. This wasn't a WHOOSH, but it was probably a whoosh. My neck/upper back are really sore today, but I'm not going to let that throw me off.
9/13: 223.2 (+0.4)/18.8 (0.0). I had a bit of a blip last night. Sweets are the Devil, and I indulged a bit. Still, I kept it under control for the most part; I had another paletta (160 calories or so) and 1/4 to 1/3 of a bag of dark chocolate covered berries (200 to 260 calories). I'm not overly concerned with the bump, but I'm trying to limit the duration of my "relapse." It was not that intense, and when I woke up this morning, it was over. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

9/17: 227.2 (+1.4)/19.3 (+0.2). It's been a bad week, but I feel like there's a light at the end of the tunnel. My one day "lapse" turned into me getting sick and having more like a four-day relapse, really. I still weighed-in every day, even if I didn't post. I'm still here. And, like I said, I can see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Outside of being here, I reached out for some help recently (and I'm continuing to do so even as I write this, more than I have in years). I'm really trying to look for a silver lining right now. I'm also trying not to beat myself up too badly.
9/18: 227.2 (0.0)/19.3 (0.0). I ate much better yesterday, particularly in food quality and in how well it "fits in" to the way I would like to eat. It was a stressful day, but, as I hinted in my last post, I received a lot of love. I'm trying not to be too upset at the scale right now. It's a marathon, not a sprint. This week was really stressful. I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to keep plugging away at this. The gym is going to happen tonight as well.
9/19: 226.6 (-0.6)/19.2 (-0.1). Dinner was a bit of a $#!*show (realized halfway through, and did not stop), but I was generally pretty good throughout the day. And I made it to the gym. This was a rough ten days, but overall I'm not discouraged. Life has not generally been this hard, and it certainly (knock on wood) can't stay as hard as it's been. I'm sticking with this. I'm also going to try to remember today why I do the average weight (AW) and average body fat (ABF%) calculations. My final number weren't great, and I'm definitely trending upward overall (really bad week), but it's not as bad as my ending numbers would suggest. On to the next challenge!

Iβm starting to feel some real benefits to my runningβ¦ since just yesterday Iβve noticed my walking pace has increased a decent amount without a corresponding increase in effort. Not too long ago it felt like a chore just walking aroundβ¦

My goal is to get back to my lower calorie goal and start losing more than water weight.
09/10 298.8 Guess I was wrong, there was still some water weight to be lost! Today will be my last maintenance day of this set. Iβm planning a day or two of eating at maintenance calories here or there for special occasions now that I know that I can stay on plan more often than not.
09/11 299.2 A bit of a bounce up, but dinner was high in sodium so Iβm not surprised. Back to lower calories today. Iβm ending the maintenance break at only 3 pounds higher than I started it at. I donβt think thatβs too bad at all.
09/12 297.4 Who knew that I still had water weight to drop? I did pretty well yesterday staying on track. It doesnβt hurt that Iβve decided that Iβm not going to be as aggressive in my weight loss goals for the moment. I know that I can be if I want, but I think that led to the binges and struggling in August. I still plan to lose, but Iβve set my calorie goals for a little higher than I did before in hopes that it will lead to fewer binges and less struggling. If it doesnβt work out I can always change things.

09/16 298.6 The tom hungriest got to me yesterday. However, I didnβt binge I ate at my higher end of calories and ate back some of my activity calories. In the past I would have dealt with being over hungry until I binged on something. Thankfully tom started last night and hopefully the worst of the hungry is past. If not thatβs okay, so I lose a little less this round, I know that this passes.
09/17 296.0 There we go! Iβm now a little lower than I was before starting the diet break. I knew that it wouldnβt be long. My next break will be for the last two weeks of December.
09/18 294.8 What!? I stepped on the scale, saw this number, reset the scale, walked the dogs, stepped on the scale six more times. Iβm hopeful of no bounce back up.

09/10 197.8 (+1.0)/ 29.2%. Late weigh in after breakfast but it is what it is. I may have a number goal for this challenge. But my challenge to myself is to be better than Iβve been. With the help of a few people I believe I can!!!
09/11 197.0 (-.8) yesterday when I thought I didnβt have it in me. When I didnβt want to do anything. I went to the gym on no sleep. Then forced myself to do cardio later. Although when I finish these small accomplishments I feel great, Iβm more proud I didnβt just say βit can wait till tomorrowβ. Letβs see what today brings me. Although Wednesdayβs usually put me in a good mood.

09/11: 220.3 Not able to get many steps in. My hip and the front of my thigh is in a lot of pain when I walk. Dr says its sciatica, but I thought that pain went down the back of the thigh?

9/11 179 (.5) It appears that working out more is helping with the scale. Iβve added cardio to my weekly workouts and Iβm starting to see a difference. I hope my energy levels can stay up and can keep it up.

09/10:209.8 Hardly drank any water yesterday and hardly drank any water today. I ate 2 snacks yesterday evening and even though I had the calories for the 2nd snack I wasn't hungry and I only ate it because I had the calories...need to work on that.
09/11:209.4 Was busy at work again and didn't drink as much water as I should have. Went out to lunch today and met with my strength coach.
09/12:208.5 Had a great workout yesterday, but the dog woke me up early this morning so sleep wasn't great. It was a busy week in court this week, so I left work early today. I'm going to take the dog on a short hike this afternoon as it looks like this will be the last sunny day for awhile.
09/13:208.7 Even though I had another night of horrible sleep, I still went to the gym at 6 this morning. Movie and dinner tonight, so I wanted to make sure I got my workout in this morning.
09/14:208.1 Went out to dinner last night and going out to a movie today. I'm kind of surprised about the drop in weight today because I thought there would be instant water retention from dinner last night, and the fact that I didn't drink much water yesterday, but it could also show up on the scale tomorrow. Goal is to get water in today.
09/15:209.2 Uptick is due to movie popcorn and lack of water. Strength coach today. It will be raining all day so plan is to watch football and do things around the house including finish putting up pictures over the fireplace.
09/16: 208.5 There goes some of the water weight. My husband started up again on MFP about three weeks ago, he hasn't weighed himself since he started, and this morning he weighed himself and realized that he had lost 15lbs! He also started weight training with his PT. I am very excited for him.
09/17:208.1 There goes the rest of the water weight, but I did do some extra snacking yesterday even though I wasn't hungry. Supposed to go to a book club meeting tonight...it's the first time I've been able to actually finish the book so I think I should go.
09/18:208.3 I got my water in yesterday so that was a plus. Book club was great and someone brought in donuts and I wasn't even tempted.
09/19: 208.3 Workout with strength coach yesterday. I did some extra snacking last night, but not too bad. I realized that I weighed in every day at lower weight than my average weight from last round.

09/14: 203 Yay! I went to the gym for the first time in 3 years last night! I'm super unfit so I just went on the treadmill for half another and did some of the circuit buuut I WENT! π I'd like to drop another 0.5-1lb this round.
09/15: 202.9 I'm not obese anymore!! Just severely overweight ππͺ Not sure how this happened lol. I didn't go over maintenance calories but definitely consumed a lot of sodium! I think I'm still retaining some water considering how tight my rings are today. Ate like crap today as well so I guess we will see what the scale says tomorrow lol.
09/16: 202.9 That could've been much worse! I had a really bad food day yesterday and went waaay over on my sodium. However, I did stay within my maintenance calories soooo should be fine. I did get lots of steps in though. Back on track today and heading to the gym once my son is in bed!
09/17: 202.9 LOL this has to be the last day of 202.9. Can I get a 202.8?! lolol. Anyway, I said no to some baked goods coming around the office this morning.

Hi everyone. I am hoping to get back on track this round. The last 3 rounds have not been my best and I have just been maintaining around the same 5 pounds or so. My birthday and TOM will happen in this round so I am expecting pretty much the same results, but hopefully I can get my healthy/low calorie eating skills back on track. Not really looking to lose seeing as I will probably stall for 5-6 days and have 2 restaurant meals out for my bday. Thought about not posting at all this round, but then I really would go off the deep end and I don't want that to happen. So I am staying here, posting, and being accountable for my actions.

09/10 - 146.5 up a bit more than I expected this morning, but not mad about it. When I started this in July of 2018 at almost 180 pounds, one of my only goals was to be in a healthy BMI and to feel better about myself when I turned 40. I have 5 amazing kids (ages 20 to11 years old), a wonderful husband, and have so much to be thankful for in my life, but I did not like what I saw in the mirror a year ago. I have not reached my ultimate goal of 135 (which has been changed multiple times in the last couple of months), but am very happy with my progress so far. I have lost around 35 pounds and am currently working on my last 10. Maybe I will be there for my 41st birthday next year, lol. Thank you everybody who has supported me and helped me along the way with my good and bad days. Happy 40th bday to me!!!!
09/11 - 143.8 this is from dehydration and way to much alcohol. Did have a really good birthday though. Should be up tomorrow I am assuming.
09/12 - 145.8 I figured plus we went out last night for dinner and our reservation was originally at 7:30, but did not get seated until 8:30. So late dinner plus 2 margaritas waiting to be seated and 2 beers with dinner. Officially done with my break and back on the wagon.
09/13 - 143.8 Had a good day yesterday and I am getting back on track. My TOM should be here any day so I am figuring I will stall, but as long as I can get back into the groove of things and then I can shake things up next round. A little over a month on my "diet break" and I am only a couple of pounds up from where I was so I am not mad at all.
09/14 - 143.2 Iβll take this. Iβm hoping to have another pound or so of water weight. Hopefully I can stay on track today. The weekends are a killer for me.
09/15 - 144.8 stayed on track, but may have been a little more sodium than normal. Sundayβs are my hardest day of the week. Letβs see how it goes.
09/16 - 146.3 DARN-IT! I was doing so well, lol. The chips and dip in my fridge got to me yesterday. I almost beat the craving, but I eventually gave in. TOM should be arriving today to, so this may be a little bit from that to. 3 more days to get back down to 143 or maybe even 142. Crock pot chicken tacos and beans for dinner tonight, so should be able to stay on track.
09/17 - 146.3 uuuggghh!!! Was on track all day yesterday, but saw no movement on the scale. I know this is just TOM weight and should be gone in a couple of days. Usually day 4 or 5 I drop, so I may not get to my goal by the end of this round seeing as I am only on day 2, but we will see. I am staying the course and knew this was coming up. Even though I have been drinking a ton of water I am still waking up super thirsty and know I am holding onto water weight. My ring barely fit this am when I went to put it on, so hopefully in the next couple of days I will lose it and be back to normal. Next round I am looking forward to making some progress finally.
09/18 - 145.7 There's a little movement at least. Was on track all day yesterday, so I am not worried. It will eventually come back down. I am lower than I started and my 10 day average is lower than it was last round, so I am looking at the positive right now. I can kind of be a negative Nancy this time of month, so I am thinking positively.
09/19 - 143.7 WHOOSH! So I am back where I started pre-Texas. I was able to maintain through my birthday and TOM. So it is what it is. At least my 10 day average is down almost a pound even if I am not. Round 90 I really want to get some where and hit some new lows. My head is back in it and I am focused. I should be able to get somewhere.7 -
