09/10 - 227 - I have no words this morning. I know things take a couple of days, so I hope that my exercise and clean eating will be reflected as much as the poor choices have been these past few days.
09/11 - 226.2 - Meh...I'm not mad at the number going down.
09/12 - 222.8 - Whoosh! I think it was my TOM and the cravings and weight reflected that. Also, I got an amazing full body dumbbell workout in (NTC App) and started walking at lunch again (just 20 mins)
09/13 - 222.4 - Had a great evening yesterday. I went to the gym for Zumba Strong. I couldn't do all of the push up and plank exercises due to my rotator cuff, but I got a great workout in. Between Wednesday and yesterday I have a bit of soreness and I honestly missed this feeling. My goal for the next couple of days is to control myself over the weekend.

09/15 - 222.6 - I'm good with this considering I usually gain during the weekend. Did 1 hour Zumba today.
09/16 - 222.2 - at point I'm ready to see the underside of 222.
09/17 - 223 - lol. I'm attributing this to sodium intake yesterday. Plus I've started using weights again. That combo will make me retain water. Upping my h2o intake today to see what happens. On a positive note I've exercised twice this week!
09/18 - DNW - Hit the ground running this morning and didn't weigh in. Need to get some cardio in today.

I totally agree. When I saw the donuts I thought about how overly sweet the donut would be and that considering how many calories each donut was it wasn't even worth it.
Since about a month after I started Keto/LCHF, the things I HAVE tried again just no longer taste good.

09/10: 136.8, have dinner with a friend tonight and a tennis lesson so hopefully the additional exercise of a lesson will combat some of the eating out aspect of the day.
09/11: 136.6, woke up with a dry throat so have a feeling I picked something up from my niece when I babysat her. Today have a family members birthday dinner out at a restaurant I really love, but might just go with soup to better my odds of getting well. Officially have a 25.9 BMI so only .9 to healthy. I started in the 32s I believe so what a difference 10 months is.
09/12:136.1, officially have a cold so didn’t go to the gym yesterday and won’t go today either. Going to sleep today to try to kick this as fast as I can
09/13: 135.9, so sick of being in bed but feel better than yesterday so I think it’s working. I have a concert on Sunday that I really hope I’m going to be ok for!
09/14: 135.7, I’m still not 100%, but hope to go back to working out a bit tomorrow or Monday
09/15: 135.7, feel much better today, but woke up very thirsty so will prioritIze water today. It’s been very warm here so might try to get some of the liquid in with popsicles for my throat at well.
09/16: 135.4, went to a concert yesterday and ate and drank more than usual, which is usually seen in 2-3 days on the scale. Hoping to be really tight on my food consumption the next 4 days to combat it.
09/17: 135.7, good day yesterday, but still haven’t gone back to exercising after being sick. I hope to be back at the gym by Wednesday. I also need to drink more water. Hoping to stay below 136 for the rest of the round.
09/18: 135.7, Going to try to take a group class today, but will make sure I make substitutions since still a bit congested. Happy to be holding steady under 136.
09/19: 135.3, only did 35 minutes on elliptical yesterday (usually do an 1 hour of exercise a day), but was nice to take it slow. Goal today is to do 45 minutes and gradually get back to where I was before I got a cold. Happy with the round progress and hope to continue losing in round 70.

Calories were extra low yesterday but carbs on the higher side of my plan due to cabbage roll (rice & tomato sauce) and a wrap I usually don’t use. However, numbers were otherwise very good which I worked very hard to achieve. Yesterday’s stats: 976 Calories In / 3011 Calories Out. 49 Net Carbs. 19,047 Total Steps & 8.06 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 43 minutes. I rigorously cleaned cabins for 95 minutes, cleaned my house & yard with light effort for 46 minutes and I walked for 59 minutes at a pretty fast pace. Total extra calorie burn was 1048. I am working hard before my upcoming travels to minimize damage if that is even possible!
09/18 …..191.8 ….. Business Travel & restaurant meal planned with son traveling with me. Blew it a bit last night with too much of my prepped meals because some of them I’ve learned to love as much as “cheat food” so I’ve got to watch out! . Today I am so tired and dread this trip ahead of me this afternoon! Yesterday’s stats: 1630 Calories In / 2776 Calories Out. 61 Net Carbs thanks to the double helping! 17,162 Total Steps & 7.26 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Step hours. [Lost one hour while at the hairdressers getting haircut). I slept 4 hours & 38 minutes and my body is SCREAMING for more today. I did some light house & yard cleaning for 48 minutes and I took a 55 minute walk at approx 4.0 mph. My total extra calorie burn was 580.
09/19 …..195.0 ….. Sadly ending round on an after travel weigh-in but glad I got my son out & about. I promise, I ate very little quantity and practiced such great restraint at the restaurant. However, the sodium was likely way above levels I use in my prep cooking at home. And I know the carbs were still high. However, I also know I didn’t eat 14,000 calories so I’ll just have to be patient for the water release. Sad to end the round this way. Great job to everyone for all the accomplishments this round. I’ve read every single post & am re-inspired by you all every round!

9/17 - 188 - I'm going to have to force myself to eat on schedule. 2pm and 10pm meals not working. Today, stick to the schedule, drink a gallon of water and ADD ELECTROLYTES!
9/18 - 186.8 - 20g carbs. IF/17.5hrs. Meal times~3:30 & 7:30. Went back to taking my adrenal supplements. I should continue taking them for another 3 or 4 months. My back (hip joint pain, groin pain from muscle tightness and knee pain too) has been aching badly for a couple of weeks and pain killers bring no real relief. The chain was pulled on my light bulb finally, it's not just muscle aches, it's my adrenals. Glad to be getting to the bottom of the cause so I can correct it.
9/19 - 186.2 - Meal times~ 12:30, 2:30, 8pm. 17g carbs.
Only one actual meal, and broke fast with some peanut butter and end3d the day with bone broth. Felt lousy all day yesterday, but did get out and run a couple of errands. Throughout the rest of the day, I worked on repotting some houseplants and potting up some cuttings I've rooted.

09/10: 204.2! Coming down again from my frustrating jump up at the end of last round. Hopefully releasing water weight. Trying to stick well to my food and exercise goals and trying to drink lots of water to reduce water retention. IDK if that's actually true or not, but I remember hearing somewhere that drinking more keeps you from holding on to water weight as much. Had a good day of work today, hoping to be more productive in that sphere as well. Was letting depression get the better of me the past couple weeks and my productivity definitely took a toll.
09/11: 205... Well, I just don't know why. Had almost no appetite so did not overeat yesterday at all and yet here we are with a bump. Nothing to do but push forward... Keep sticking to it and hope for some progress. I knew losing weight with PCOS is tough so I just need to be tougher.
09/12: 203.2! Idk why yesterday I was so high and today I'm so low, but a win is a win, so I'll take it! Going to ride the wave of progress today and get some good work done, exercise hard and stick to my food goals. I made a keto pizza last night with almond flour fathead dough and it was pretty decent. I hope its leftovers make a nice lunch
09/13: 203.2! Wahoo! Staying level! Got some intense exercise in and did a good job of sticking to my food goals. Didn't get a lot of work done, had to take a half day to get to spend some time w my partner before he leaves for 10 days this evening. We played pool so that's been fun to learn
09/14: 202.8! Omygosh! So happy 😊 went for a really long kayak and saw loads of otters and seals. My first time seeing otters, so amazing. Was hard to focus my camera on them with the strong winds blowing me away. Had a great time and ate very healthy before and after.
09/15: 202.2!! Wow! Did lots of chores. Trimmed my hedges and now my forearms are ready to explode. Eating healthy and trying to be productive with chores today
09/16: 202! Really happy I havent had a pop up yet. Fingers crossed I stay down. Had an intense workout and got lots of work done. One of those days where I was so busy working in the lab, I forgot to decontaminate and go eat/drink/take any break whatsoever. 09/17: 201.8! Yay! Can't believe it but very happy. Did a great job of sticking to my diet today, didnt exercise. Super sore from my workout yesterday. I did walk around a lot for work and did some stretching for muscle stiffness. Hoping to hang on to this loss as my TOM begins.. would be nice to finish this challenge out nice and strong
09/18: 201! Oh man, nice dip. I expect it's an anomaly and will go up again tomorrow. Did a ton of lab work today, no time to exercise, barely any time to eat. I managed to eat my lunch on the train ride home from work so at least I didnt miss any meals today. Still really sore from Monday's intense workout, gotta stretch more.
09/19: 201! Wow! Maintained the loss overnight! Starting birth control today so we shall see how my weight fluctuates with that in the next challenge. In the meantime, working hard, sticking to my food goals and hopefully will find time to exercise today.

After reaching a 75lb loss, personal and family stressors became way too exhausting back in June and I practically LEAPED off the wagon. Sad to say, but comfort food was my only solace w/ all my time and energy dedicated to everyone other than myself. After a summer of very little exercise and LOTS and lots of carb and sugar consumption for sanity's sake, I've regained 19 pounds ... all in my midsection, hips and thighs of course .... uggghhh.

9/16 122.0 I’m okay with this. The retreat was FANTASTIC! Good to have a weekend away with my gal pals although DH says I can never go away without him again. (That’s nice to hear after almost 50 years.) I got over 100% of my step goal each of the last 4 days. The a/c went out in my car which wasn’t a good thing since it was over 100 degrees everywhere.
9/17 121.5 I’m so upset. It’s going to be really expensive to replace the a/c unit in my car. Bad enough that we will probably just trade it in on a newer but not NEW model. It’s crazy to be that attached to a car but it is the first car I had ever chosen entirely on my own - I was 52 at the time. I’m in mourning.

9/10 166.1 I'm in a similar place I was last round on day 1. Getting ready to travel for work with my BF in tow for a few days. I must say NO to all sodium heavy things. At least I'm seeing my man. He hasn't had to travel for 3 weeks in a row!

9/12 No Scale I was happy to be down yesterday! I'm sad my BF isn't here with me but I woke up a little sick so maybe it's better he's not here I was under on calories yesterday and lifted weights last night. Going back tonight to ride the stationary bike. No scale until Saturday. I have a doctors appt tomorrow afternoon. I hope he can tell me something good about my leg. I miss walking so much.
9/13 No scale Went to the gym last night and did over 12 miles. I'm consistently doing 5-minute miles now. The location I went to has new stationary bikes that have scales built-in so no more put in your weight, it came up 165 pounds without my help. I hope that was accurate because it meant I wasn't retaining too much water! It was after work so not my regular weighing time but I was happy. I don't remember what the scale said the last time I was the docs but I think I'll be down around 20 or 25 pounds. I should be able to spend a lot of time with my BF this weekend AND my friend Mark that has been staying with me recovering since July 9th is going to try to leave on Monday. Fingers crossed ladies. I love him like a brother but he's a brother that's been living on my couch for 2 months. Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!
9/14 165.9 Played at the park with the baby for almost two hours! Dinner date with boyfriend. Great night
9/15 165.5 Easy Sunday. I went fishing this morning, then brunch with girlfriends. Afterward, one friend and I went to a couple of estate sales. Doc said no tear in my muscle, stay off of it another couple of weeks.
9/16 167.2 Went a little crazy last night, not a pound and a half worth so this should drop in a day or two. The only "workout" was a little housework yesterday. That and a lot of walking around at estate sales . I'm going to go ride the bike at the gym tonight. Maybe go a little extra. The doc was very happy with my weight loss and blood work numbers. He said just keep doing what I'm doing. He said no tear in my muscle, and to stay off of it another couple of weeks. He gave me some exercises to do and if staying off and the exercises don't help to come back.
9/17 165.5 I did not go to the gym. I have a cold/sinus thing happening and had no energy for the gym. Driving back to StL this afternoon. I've been traveling a lot the last 6 weeks and have missed weighing in on the last day. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night due to my nose being on a constant drip. It's going to be a long drive today. At least I have a good book. I doubt I'll go to the gym tonight. I have meetings tomorrow I need to be prepared for, so I'll probably just get dinner and go back to my second home. I've had the same goal weight for 3 rounds, it would be nice to hit it because TOM water retention is going to start and that delays me again. It's not a race, it's not a race, it's not a race.
9/18 No Scale Stayed within calories yesterday. I didn't go to the gym (no need to get my germs on everything) but I did walk around a mall for an hour. I just didn't want to be at the hotel all night. I had one of my favorite dinners at Crushed Red (half Health Nut salad and half Fire Roasted Veggie pizza comes in at 372 calories!). Does anyone else find they're eating less meat? I'm not doing it on purpose I eat what sounds good and is within calorie goals. I don't feel like I'm missing it - just curious. Also, my friend is not leaving for another 2 weeks.

9/10: 223.8 (0.0)/18.9 (0.0). No change is a good thing. Feeling a little bloated and/or "off" this morning. Not sure what it is, but I know my wife is sick or getting sick. I probably did not make good food choices yesterday, but I stayed within my calorie goal. EDIT: In the interest of being completely accountable, I have to acknowledge that I am not feeling particulary motivated today. I was going to just ignore it (I didn't write about it in my first draft of my post), but I really don't want to "get lost" again. I need to be here, probably more on my bad days than my good.
9/11: 224.2 (+0.4)/18.9 (0.0). I'm going to chalk up this weigh-in to the mood I started out with yesterday. I think I recovered relatively well as the day went by, and I didn't make any horrible food choices (except the "later" night coconut paleta). I kind of needed that paleta; it was delicious! My wife and I will be headed to the gym tonight (she is feeling better @mrs_sutsie ). I'm mostly feeling better, too. The gym means I can get a salad tonight from Cook's Tortas, which is always an amazing experience (you know what I'm talking about @Anlaing016 ).
9/12: 222.8 (-1.4)/18.8 (-0.1). I did not make it to the gym last night, but I'm going to go today. I was under my goal for calories last night, and pretty on-target with my macros. This wasn't a WHOOSH, but it was probably a whoosh. My neck/upper back are really sore today, but I'm not going to let that throw me off.
9/13: 223.2 (+0.4)/18.8 (0.0). I had a bit of a blip last night. Sweets are the Devil, and I indulged a bit. Still, I kept it under control for the most part; I had another paletta (160 calories or so) and 1/4 to 1/3 of a bag of dark chocolate covered berries (200 to 260 calories). I'm not overly concerned with the bump, but I'm trying to limit the duration of my "relapse." It was not that intense, and when I woke up this morning, it was over. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

It was a stressful day, but, as I hinted in my last post, I received a lot of love. I'm trying not to be too upset at the scale right now. It's a marathon, not a sprint. This week was really stressful. I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to keep plugging away at this. The gym is going to happen tonight as well.
9/19: 226.6 (-0.6)/19.2 (-0.1). Dinner was a bit of a $#!*show (realized halfway through, and did not stop), but I was generally pretty good throughout the day. And I made it to the gym. This was a rough ten days, but overall I'm not discouraged. Life has not generally been this hard, and it certainly (knock on wood) can't stay as hard as it's been. I'm sticking with this. I'm also going to try to remember today why I do the average weight (AW) and average body fat (ABF%) calculations. My final number weren't great, and I'm definitely trending upward overall (really bad week), but it's not as bad as my ending numbers would suggest. On to the next challenge!

09/10: 308.2 lbs (+0.4) … the smallish uptick continues. Nothing that I’m worried about. I’m starting to feel some real benefits to my running… since just yesterday I’ve noticed my walking pace has increased a decent amount without a corresponding increase in effort. Not too long ago it felt like a chore just walking around…

09/10 298.8 Guess I was wrong, there was still some water weight to be lost! Today will be my last maintenance day of this set. I’m planning a day or two of eating at maintenance calories here or there for special occasions now that I know that I can stay on plan more often than not.
09/11 299.2 A bit of a bounce up, but dinner was high in sodium so I’m not surprised. Back to lower calories today. I’m ending the maintenance break at only 3 pounds higher than I started it at. I don’t think that’s too bad at all.
09/12 297.4 Who knew that I still had water weight to drop? I did pretty well yesterday staying on track. It doesn’t hurt that I’ve decided that I’m not going to be as aggressive in my weight loss goals for the moment. I know that I can be if I want, but I think that led to the binges and struggling in August. 09/10:209.8 Hardly drank any water yesterday and hardly drank any water today. I ate 2 snacks yesterday evening and even though I had the calories for the 2nd snack I wasn't hungry and I only ate it because I had the calories...need to work on that.

Hi everyone. I am hoping to get back on track this round. The last 3 rounds have not been my best and I have just been maintaining around the same 5 pounds or so. My birthday and TOM will happen in this round so I am expecting pretty much the same results, but hopefully I can get my healthy/low calorie eating skills back on track. 09/10 - 146.5 up a bit more than I expected this morning, but not mad about it. When I started this in July of 2018 at almost 180 pounds, one of my only goals was to be in a healthy BMI and to feel better about myself when I turned 40. I have 5 amazing kids (ages 20 to11 years old), a wonderful husband, and have so much to be thankful for in my life, but I did not like what I saw in the mirror a year ago. I have not reached my ultimate goal of 135 (which has been changed multiple times in the last couple of months), but am very happy with my progress so far. I have lost around 35 pounds and am currently working on my last 10. Maybe I will be there for my 41st birthday next year, lol. Thank you everybody who has supported me and helped me along the way with my good and bad days. Happy 40th bday to me!!!!

Even though I have been drinking a ton of water I am still waking up super thirsty and know I am holding onto water weight. My ring barely fit this am when I went to put it on, so hopefully in the next couple of days I will lose it and be back to normal. Next round I am looking forward to making some progress finally.

09/10 127 I'm getting maintenance-y, but with a lot of jiggle. I zipped into an ancient pair of size 4s yesterday and was floored that they fit. But I swear, I'm still flab-ola in so many places (belly, arms, back). I so need to tone up!
09/11 126.2 This is only because I didn't have time to eat much yesterday, barely 1000, as I'm helping to plan a funeral. At least I had a BLT (bacon lettuce tomato for our non-U.S. friends) and a good salad, so some decent nutrition there.

09/17 128.2 Tough week, and not because of this little blip upward, which will resolve in the next few days. I've gone from seeing one friend through the first week of her new life without her spouse right to being in the hospital all day with another friend who's going through some awful surgical complications. More carbs than usual and the associated water retention, but who cares? I'm alive. Thankful for the big stuff, not sweatin' the small stuff like the last few vanity lbs.

09/19 127.2 Well, life happened this round. And I'm okay with it. I was there for two good friends, and that is more important than whether I dropped a couple of pounds. Last round was rather whooshy, and I basically maintained this round. The last couple of pounds will slowly come off over the next month or so. I'm only within 3 lbs of my UGW now (!)
