    okay i'll sign up...kristen, i'll report a weight as often as i can - if i dont, please just carry me forward to the next week - i'm dropping off, just maybe not weighing in as often as the group....since there are 16wks i'd like to lose 16lbs but since we havent finished the labor day chellenge, i dont know where that puts me to start...i'll update the thread later when we get to 9/5....thanks for taking over, i really appreciate it....

    I'm in!!!! Love that it is a Christmas Challenge....my HAPPIEST time of year!!!! Would love to give myself a present of Onederland by Dec. 25th; but that means close to 34 lbs lost in 16 weeks. I know, not impossible...but don't wanna set myself up for failure either. So I will set my realistic goal of 20lbs and really strive to hit that magical 199 instead!!!!!!!!!!!! :bigsmile:

    Yep...I'm doing the same thing you are...I'm putting down I want to lose 25lbs...but I really believe I can hit more if I keep my focus...so I'm trying for 25 lbs...but trust me...I'm going to try to kick out more than that. :) Glad you joined Keri!!!!

    I want to do this! I always think the Holidays are so hard so what's the point,but the reality is that EVERY day is hard. So maybe the better thing to ask is why NOT the holidays!!! My starting weight is 170 and my goal weight by 12/24 is 140 which is a total loss of 34 pounds. This is 2 pounds a week for me....You guys are going DOWN!!!! Okay, maybe on this site that is not a bad thing. ; )

    I'm so excited to catch a challenge on the start date :happy: Count me in! I would like to shoot for more of a weight loss, but I want to be realistic and not get disappointed. Thanks so much for hosting the challenge!

    this is going to be my first challange... how does it work....

    Welcome! This is basically how it is going to work. Every Monday, before noon PST, you will copy and paste this (what you just did) into our topic here with your current weight. I will take that info. and put it into the colorful chart and have that chart posted later that same day. In the meantime, you can come back here, as often as you'd like, to get to know and support your fellow challengers. :-) I really don't want to be in charge of this next bit (since I'm not good at thinking up ones or participating in them, at times) but we might incorporate mini challenges along the way (i.e. - more water, more veggies, etc.). If we do, if you do those, you can post about how that went also.

    Something that was brought out...
    Not sure I want to do the next challenge, as I HATE Monday weigh in's. I feel the weekend throws off my numbers and mid-week is a better reflection of where I'm at (after enjoying my weekend, ya know?). I'd consider it if weigh in was later in the week.

    To which I replied - I don't care which day you use as your weigh in. :-) Just make it the same every week and then get me your numbers before noon on Mondays. We'd love to have you with us.

    Everyone - Please don't let a Monday weigh in day keep you from this challenge.
