I've just started making chocolate crinkle cookies recently but have never seen that festive Candy Cane Kiss topping!

...also these, Chocolate Star Peanut Butter Cookies

Obviously I love peanut butter and chocolate.

I usually use regular Hershey's Kisses (dark) but really like those chocolate stars! Never noticed them in stores - will have to look.

Won't be buying from these guys: https://www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B00GXUHBP8/ref=acr_dp_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&reviewerType=all_reviews#reviews-filter-bar

These babies. They have many names, depending on where you’re from but I know them as Mexican Wedding Cookies, or Polverones. Light, lovely, pecan, buttery, powdered-sugary mess.

These are my favorites too! Mom used to make them. I'll have to get her recipe.

The ones in the picture, I made :) I run a small baking business through the Fall (breads, cookies, bars & cake pops) and these are always a big seller. Don’t ask me how I manage not to eat up what I bake. But these in particular are really hard to moderate, so most of the time I just don’t go there with these lol.

    Spritz cookies!!!

    It's not that I DON'T like spritz cookies...but I don't understand the hype over them, I admit.
I've had them on and off through the years but never made them until a couple years ago when I got a cookie press. I was so excited and then kinda like "that's it!?" because I just think they're really pretty and complicated sugar cookies, sorta.

@pancakerunner I can't believe you found peppermint cookies on chocolate crinkle cookies, exactly what I said would be so good! You're dangerous!

That was supposed to say peppermint kisses, I was so excited I couldn't think straight!

Favorites are peanut butter kisses, persimmon, chocolate crinkle cookies, my Mom's chocolate cake cookies with white frosting, and shortbread. Mom always makes chocolate chip and I associate that with Christmas too. Oh, and my aunt's rainbow cookies, those are awesome!

I'd love to do what you're doing in the fall! And there are so many outlets in which to sell them. I really would love to make/sell cookie pops. My dd bought some for a bridal shower last summer and they were soooo yummy. But I'd have no luck resisting them. :(

I just thought of another cookie I bake at Christmas time called Scandinavian Almond Bars, sooo good!! And my mom always made a cookie called Jim Jams which are basically a soft molasses cookie sandwiched with rasp. jam. Another cookie I could eat till I drop. :/

I do get it. For some reason resisting isn’t a problem, it’s in moderating that I run into trouble. I find it enjoyable, almost therapeutical. I’d post more pics of what I do but I don’t want to make temptation harder for anybody, it’s already everywhere right now.

Oh please feel free to post pics if you'd like. I find myself looking at all the foods and loading my pinterest goodies board up with ideas but it doesn't mean I'm going to eat them all. Not that I wouldn't if a plate full was placed in front of me. :)
