Food Suggetion

Hello, I am new to this portal. I started following my daily goal since last 5 days.
I need some suggestions on my query.
I am targeting of 80 kg of weight from my present weight of 95 kg.
Sometime I eat less calories then my daily target and some day little more. will it effect my weekly target of loosing 1 kg.
also, in lunch, I am eating mixed fruits but it causes exceeding my daily sugar goal. shall I stop eating fruits.
kindly suggest.

I used to count my calories by the week but found it just didn't work for me. I got too loose on most days, which put me over. But a lot of people have success counting calories by the week.

I wouldn't worry about sugar intake unless you are diabetic or have some other health issue where you need to watch it.

I'm new to this as well, (began Oct. 9th)...my question is if I stay in my allowed calorie range BUT the ingredients of some foods throw me over in other areas such as Carbs, Fats, Protein, SODIUM, etc...will that effect my weight loss. I find it VERY HARD to stay under 2300 mg sodium. Doing "ok" in other areas I have eliminated adding any salt (using other herbs and spices - sodium free), and I rinse canned goods and my meat, but still having a hard time staying under.

Good nutrition is important for health, but not very much importance to weight loss alone

In the short run, nutrition won't affect fat loss unless it affects your energy level and therefore activity level, or affects satiation therefore calorie compliance. Long run, undernutrition fatigue, or degraded body composition (less muscle mass due to persistent low protein, especially) could slowly be an issue.

Sodium intake variation may lead to fluctuating water weight showing up on the scale, but it's not fat so may not be a big deal absent relevant medical conditions. Consistent high sodium intake may not be optimal for health depending on individual factors, but shouldn't cause much water weight variation.

If you have questions different from the OP, you might get more focused answers by starting your own thread to ask.

    Best wishes!

I have no medical reasons to avoid sugar or sodium so swapped them out for fiber (hitting my fiber goal helps me stay full) and iron (I'm anemic.)
