I’m in! Thank you for this thread, I’m looking forward to daily accountability!
New to MFPin 2020 (but not to the diet cycle...☹️). I know “how” to lose weight...now I need to focus on how to keep it off! This time shifting my habits and mindset for good.
Almost 50 (3 more weeks), 5’9”, working mom of blended family of girls mid-teens to mid twenties. The younger ones are fit and thin and an inspiration to get my act together!

This is my first time doing the challenge!
I'm a little over 8 months post partum. I had a twin pregnancy and ended up not gaining much weight at all and was at a very favorable weight at first however I quickly gained a lot of weight back after I stopped BFing.
I've been working out 2x week and trying to make healthier food choices for 2 months and have seen no results. Now I'm going to increase my workout to 3x/week, do more HIT workouts, and track my calories. So far so good!
Pre-Pregnancy Weight: 170 lbs
Weight when I gave Birth: 180 lbs
Weight 6wpp: 155 lbs
Weight 6mpp: 168 lbs
Weight 8mpp: 179.2 lbs
Weight today: 176.4
Goal this round: 174.5
Ultimate goal weight: I don't have one! Just want to try to feel confident and happy in my skin again!

Congrats to Everyone who participated in Round 100 - the 1st round of 2020!!
Research shows that people lose more weight if they have someone to check in with or be accountable to!
There were a lot of weight losses in that round! YAY!! Congratulations, to all of us who are smaller/lighter than when we started that round! Way to go, to us who ran into a new decade!
Some of us gained and many of us lost! Some made it to, or surpassed, their round goal weight!! If you did not lose, no worries. This is not a perfect road. The key is never giving up and to keep fighting the fine fight until you reach your destination. Sometimes life throws us a curve ball or 2 but hang in there because life is what it is. You can still do this, one day at a time! Cheers to round 102 and thanks to Jackie for keeping these going! :drinker: :drinker:

69 years old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
We used to walk 5 miles a day. A pinched nerve and back surgery side-lined me for about a year. Then I had back surgery. Now I'm waiting to get my hip fixed. Hip Doc said surgery in April. Ugh! I can't do any walking or biking...both kill me. I see my personal trainer three times a week. She is taking it very slow and easy with me.

I’ve started some good healthy habits in Round 100- looking forward to continuing these for the next 10 days. Didn’t lose the amount of weight I wanted to in the last round, but did weigh in at 216 a few days ago. Looking for a ‘mini whoosh’ this 10 days to get me losing some lb!!! Aim is to go to the gym 8 times in the 10 days, always stay under my calorie goal and eat my dinners a bit earlier (not currently eating until after 8pm).

You know, I'm realizing this thread has become a little like my daily diary It's quite therapeutic I stayed under calories yesterday mainly due to eating something at the restaurant yesterday lunch time which really didn't agree with me so I didn't eat anything else till this morning. Also had a good night sleep, I think I'll need a few more still to catch up after the past few weeks. Today is a quiet day, meetings at work then I'll go for a walk at lunch to the post office. This evening I'm going out for a board games evening, but luckily at this persons' house there's a "no junk food" rule
