Count me in. I am ready to get focused and loose this weight. I’m 53 years old. Started running when I turned 40 but had major injury in 2012 and never fully recovered. Would love to get back to running but for right now just focusing on some form of exercise every day. So glad I found this thread. I need the support.

Weekly Successes: I tracked all my meals- set up a reminder in MFP to send notification to remind me. Focused on good nutrition and water consumption. Also set up different daily calorie goals for week days vs. weekends. This allows me to splurge a little this weekend.
Weekly Challenges: Planned to start a yoga program this week but ended up with a bad cold so I delayed adding in exercise this week.6 -

I completely fell of the wagon in the last 3 months of 2019 and gained 15 lbs. Looking forward to getting back on.

This week's successes: Pretty awful week. For some reason, I went totally off the rails. I ate sugar like it was going to be erased from the face of the earth. I ate two servings of soup at our weekly small group and had dessert. I thought I had these meetings under control, but clearly not! I ate the rest of the fun-size M&Ms instead of getting rid of them by sending them to work or throwing them away. I’m thankful that I didn’t gain even more than I did. I think going to the gym, riding my bike, and walking helped to keep the gain from being even worse. I need to figure out why I did that. I’m not beating myself up about it, but I really want to figure out why my eating was so out of control this week.
This week's challenges: Limit sugar intake, add more veggies to my daily diet.

I'm in!
I joined MFP at the end of 2015. In a little over a year I lost almost 40 pounds. Then I started a new job, went back to school and most importantly stopped logging my food and stopped moving. I am determined to get some of this extra weight off of myself in a healthy way again. I am now almost 50 years lod and I can definitely feel the difference. Thank you Tammierlewis for starting this challenge.
