32 female, BMI 37.1, RHR 70
My fitness level is low, I have chronic illness. I walk and do dance fitness when I can. I also hike when I can. My average daily step count is around 8,000 on average thanks to getting a dog. I used to barely get 2000 a day. On good days I get well over 10,000 but don't have too many of those.
I wasn't tracking my heart rate until this post, so I am not sure if it has gotten better since I've lost weight. I had been a very high level athlete all my life, but that all changed as of 2016 and with my diagnosis'. I'd say that has probably had more of an impact on my RHR than weight loss but don't have data to back that up.1 -
Mine is 50 right now, but before I started running again I was between 58-65. Running lowers the RHR within a week for me, so that's nice. BMI is 25.2

Mine is typically low 56-72 but mostly low 60s. I am obese, BMI 36.0

My RHR was a little lower when I lost 30lbs but not massively different. I was also rowing more often.0 -
Right now it's around 70, but I'm a little out of shape from a less than stellar 2019. At peak fitness in 2017/18 it was around 55.1

The steep, sudden increase in RHR was what helped my doctor pinpoint anemia as the source of my laundry list of complaints - including rapid weight gain and persistent headaches.

Resting HR ~60 bpm per my Apple Watch
30 - Male - 6'1" - 179 lbs = 23.6 BMI. I recognize that is on the high side of "normal" and almost to "overweight" but I'm <15% body fat. Blood Pressure was 98/62 at last check. In terms of fitness level, I lift weights 5-6 times per week and I maintain my cardio well enough to roll out of bed and run a 5-10k with my wife for the occasional local charity race.
I don't necessarily have data to support it but I don't believe my RHR has changed by more than ~5bpm. As an adult my weight hasn't exceeded ~195-200 lbs and has been as light as 158 before I started lifting.1 -

Have you seen your resting heart rate evolve with weight loss or exercise?
Yes! When I started actively going to the gym about 2 weeks ago, my RHR was 67, but of the past 2 weeks of consistent cardio (running every morning before work) it has come down and is staying at the 59-61 range.0 -
RHR: 56 average this week, sometimes into the high 40s. That's what my watch gives when first rising, but I can have lows in the morning that are in the low 40s.
BMI: 27.2, ~13.5% body fat on DEXA though

In the past when I was about 25.5 BMI and 9.6% body fat with less endurance training, I'd had a month of RHR in the high 30s (~37-~41) for about a month.0 -
My BMI is about 25. Depending on who you ask, that's in the normal-slightly overweight range.
Currently my RHR is mid-60s. When I'm training for a race, it dips into the 50s.
I consider myself fit/athletic but could stand to lose a few lbs of body fat due to too much drinking over the last year.0 -

My RHR goes up when I am sick, it was 57 over christmas when I was sick, I can see it going up the days before I come down with something, so I usually know when Im about to be sick before it even hits.
Im not super athletic, but i workout fairly regularly, and have for awhile with small 1-3 months hiatuses in there. But I shoot for 3 to 5 workouts a week, usually 3 lifting sessions, and 2 to 3 cardio of running, and somtimes on the recumbent bike if its really cold out.
Iv also done 2 marathons 2 1/2 years ago, and my RHR wasnt any lower than now, but i did weigh a bit more.1 -

My resting hart rate is 75. Age 7e, bmi 27, lost 15 kg last year, rather fit. Is it ok? It was lower 20 years ago.1

My RHR is pretty high, I suppose. Its still in the normal range though, so I'm not too concerned. Hopefully it will drop once I start losing weight.0 -
My RHR is in the low 50's according to my Garmin, and my BMI is ~23 right now. I'm pretty active--10-12K steps per day including exercise.
The number that is not on point is my blood pressure--it's borderline high, but I contend it's because they use the stupid automated machine that squeezes my arm so tight it hurts and stresses me out.1 -
Mine is usually 45-55. It was in the 70s when I was obese.0

Mine went down from 84 to 66 when I started losing weight and exercising. Exercise seems to have made the bigger impact.0 -
Last year start 75-95 normally, now 50-60 baseline with daily lows in the 40's and cardio heart rate right around 100 tracked on the same Apple Watch the whole time, rarely even on a strenuous run do I get much over 100. This was hand in hand with 100+ weight loss in a year plus exercise.0

My resting heart rate this week is between 53-54. My current BMI is 31 and I run 3x a week for 30 minutes and strength train for 30 minutes 3x a week. I get about 12,000 steps a day. FitBit says my Cardio Fitness score is 34 which they say is "Excellent". Before I (re)started MFP, my BMI was 42 and my resting heart rate averaged at 66 and my Cardio score hovered around 25, which is "average".0
