Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !
Goal – end lower than started - aim to stick with good habits: be mindful of what I eat & drink, keep walking.End of round 69 134.2 lbs

Day/Weight/Comment
02/17 133.4 - great drop to start round with, 9 miles walked yesterday, 847 calories in credit & all macros in green. Had delicious 3 course Sunday roast lunch with loads of veggies a little later in the day than usual, felt so satisfied afterwards that wasn't hungry for evening meal & so just skipped it, I feel this really helped with drop so may bounce back tomorrow.
02/18 133.8 – ok with this - was hoping to stay under 134. 10.89 miles walked yesterday, 797 calories in credit, all macros in green.
02/19 133.8- 9.8 miles walked yesterday. 71 calories in credit, but 20 carbs & 15 fat over – went out for brunch with my sisters, had bacon so sodium higher than normal for me, but still in macro limit.
02/20 133.8 – 9.7 miles walked yesterday. 524 calories in credit all other macros in green.
02/21 133 – yes!!! No walking yesterday due to persistent rain and 90 minute each day journey each way to spend quality time with DD and 2 delightful little DGS hence calories 161 & carbs 20 over.
02/22 133 – 9.39 miles walked, 301 carbs in credit, 11 carbs over.
02/23 134 – that's last nights pizza. 8.16 miles walked, 81 calories in credit, 44 carbs over.
02/24 133.4 – only 2.5 miles walked; visiting family all day that live 80 miles away. 124 calories in credit, carbs 44 over.
02/25 134.4 – a bit disappointed, but for once I'm pleased to say that bit's not caused by unhealthy binges; it's a culmination of pizza Saturday night, a traditional family Sunday lunch with all the trimmings including apple & blackberry crumble and then lunch out with a good friend yesterday & I succumbed to sticky toffee pudding – it was sooooooo good. 9 miles walked yesterday, 52 calories over, 13 carbs & 15 fat over too. Another lunch out today, but at a place where it's easier to select a heathier meal.
02/26 133.6 – 8.79 miles walked yesterday, 130 calories in credit, 15 carbs & 11 fat over. 1.4 pounds down from end of last round, happy with this. See you all in the next round.

02/17 - 151.6 (-0.8) Things got a bit hectic the last few days and I'm sorry I missed all the messages at the end of the last round which unfortunately ended with a big weight gain for me. That was the result of the weekend weight-in combined with a couple of stressful days which lead to bad eating choices. I spent Friday and Saturday cleaning my father's apartment and sorting out new locks after the break-in, today I'll deal with the insurance, but we're finally getting things straightened out. My daughter is also finally on the mend after 10 days of the flu and back at school this morning, these are the times that I find being a single parent quite hard, I'm thinking about that old movie with Michael Keaton: multiplicity I'll admit that yesterday I was a wreck and I spent the day sleeping, being lazy and recovering so today I'm feeling much better and I'll go to the gym during my lunch break. I'm crossing fingers for a smooth week, without any drama or health issues
02/18 - 150.6 (-1.0) 1082 cal, 16753 steps, a very good day yesterday. I had to negotiate with my colleague to take my lunch hour early (11h - 12h) so I could go to the gym otherwise I wouldn't have been able to go with all the afternoon meetings starting early. I was happy to get a good 50 min cardio workout in and it felt good to work off some frustrations. This morning I did my yoga and planks workout as I won't be able to go to the gym today but maybe I'll have time to walk home this evening
02/19 149.6 (-1.0) 1211 cal, 11367 steps. good day yesterday and a good loss, I was happy to see under the 150.x again this morning. Also realized a few minutes after weighting myself that there was a leak through the ceiling in the bathroom, the apartment above had flooded from the one above that where a tap had burst and the place being empty water flooded the apartment for days. So we had to get the firemen and police in to break into the place. A lot of drama for 6h30 am. Now to deal with the insurances. I hope that's the end of the run of bad luck we've been having I'm not sure about the gym this lunch time, I'll see how it goes....
02/20 150.6 (+1.0) 1394 cal, 5857 steps, I had a craving yesterday evening so made some popcorn and ate some corn crackers with jam so this gain is what it is... no surprise . This morning things are a little more normal, I've already got a lot more steps at 9 am than yesterday for the whole Day. Also I'll be going to the gym as I didn't go yesterday. I've remembered to bring my lunch, which I had forgotten yesterday with all that went on, so I can avoid the office lunches as they are a disaster because they have only sandwiches and which never end up being under 600 cal.
02/21 150.6 (-0.0) 146 cal, 15.542 steps, no change there. I made the mistake of eating before counting the calories last night. I'm always shocked at the amount of calories in peas! I bought a takeaway chicken, potatoes and peas/carrots at a local rotisserie, I just had the peas/carrots with eggs (vegetarian so skipped the rest) so i was surprised at how much this was in calories. Yesterday, I didn't make it to the gym either as meetings and video conferences overlapped during my lunch hour, so I ate lunch at my desk. I did walk home as I had some time in the evening which helped me get my steps in. At last today it's quiet at the office and I'm going to the gym whatever happens lol
02/22 149.6 (-1.0) weekend
02/23 149.4 (-0.2) weekend
02/24 149.4 (-0.0) All in a ll a good weekend. I allowed myself some treats but exercised everyday and kept things on track. I did expect a gain today as I went over my calorie allowance yesterday with some of my nieces birthday cake. I'll have to be careful it doesn't creep up on me tomorrow. Also seeing that I haven't much time to go to the gym lately, I dragged my folding bike out of it's hiding place and instead I've given it a place of honor in my living room so I can't avoid it! It's not a very good one so I don't like using it much but it gets the work done.
02/25 149.4 (-0.0) 1.116 cal 7595 steps. I'm crossing fingers I stay at this weight till tomorrow and the end of the round! I had a horrible migraine yesterday so no exercise, I went to bed at 8pm and slept till this morning. I had a MRI last Friday for these migraines as it's been 5 months now, I'll be getting the results this coming Friday. I'll admit that although I'm trying not to worry I can't help it and the stress is probably making the headaches worse Anyway crossing fingers till Friday and I'll try and keep myself busy till then to think of something else
02/26 150.6 (+1.2) 1452, 5225, slightly over calories yesterday and few steps, so there's a gain but a loss all over for this round and I'm happy with that. Next round to aim under 150

Round 105
Age 53-5'2"
Starting Weight: 154 lbs
Round Goal Weight: 152 lbs
02/17:154
02/18:154 - Good day, kept within my calorie limits and took a brisk walk.
02/19:153 - I've been using an old scale that only weighs in whole numbers. Very frustrating because I tend to lose in tiny increments, so I ordered a new scale yesterday. Stuck to my calorie allotment and got a few miles in on my stationary bike. I had pneumonia a few weeks ago so I still tire easily, but I'm getting better each day.
02/20: 153.6 - (New scale) Busy day, stayed within calories but didn't get any exercise. Our new home gym was delivered. Now we need to assemble it..yikes! I live in the country, 20 miles from the nearest city, and I watch my grandchildren 5 days a week so it's hard for me to get to a gym to work out. I have a stationary bike, treadmill, and now the home gym should help me get a full workout at home.
02/21: 153.4 - Ok, this new scale weighs one pound more than my old scale. I weigh 152 on my old scale so I know I have lost a couple pounds this round. I'm happy with it though, I normally lose a few pounds my first week of dieting. I do need to drink more water so I'm going to work on that today.
02/22: 153.4
02/23: 152.8 - I lost a little more than usual. I stuck to my 1200 calorie a day allotment but it was hard, I was hungry yesterday. I think Ill try to eat more protein today.
02/24: 153.4 - I expected the number to go back up a little. Ate within limits, and lifted weights yesterday. I'm a little sore today.
02/25: 152.8 - Good day, drank lots of water. My old scale weighs me at 151 so I know I've lost a few this round. My weight loss looks a little confusing since I changed scales mid-round.
02/26: 152.0 - Happy with the results, -3 lbs. Looking forward to the next round9 -

Day/Weight/Comment
02/17 - 143 - I'm happy to see this number two days in a row. I may see a bump from the weekend tomorrow, but this is a nice trend.
02/18 - 144.5 - Ouch! Not only did the weekend catch up with me, a wonderful old friend dropped her tax info. off at my office and brought me 4 dozen butterscotch chocolate chip cookies. I shared with the office, but I had several myself. The rest are now packed safely away in my freezer. Water and calorie tracking the rest of the week.
02/19 - 144 - Slowly inching down. More water and more tracking today.
02/20 - 143.5 - OK.
02/21 - 144 - I am really paying for those cookies I had on Monday.
02/22 - 143.5 - I was actually surprised my weight was down a little because my rings were really tight this morning from water retention. Catered lunch at the office today, so I'll be drinking plenty of water.
02/23 - 142 - Yay, I haven't seen this weight in months.
02/24 - 142.5 - Still happy with this weight.
02/25 - 143 - Tracking and water today.
02/26 - 143.5 - Still within maintenance and trending lower, so I'm happy.

Day/Weight/Comment
02/17 - 168.2 Great day yesterday! Hoping I can keep it up this round!
02/18 - 168.2 I've had this weight three days in a row. I'll take it! Especially after how much I fluctuated last round. Hopefully I can squeeze in a workout tonight!
02/19 - 168.0 Still haven't worked out in a few days and somehow haven't gained anything ... I'm sure this will bite me in the butt.
02/20 - 168.4 I did a light at-home workout last night but I really excel in the gym. I'm going to make it a priority to go tonight!
02/21 - 168.4 I went to the gym last night! However, I was over my calories. I'll probably be today because lunch at work today is being catered.
02/22 - 168.0
02/23 - 169.8 My bad habits lately are catching up to me. Hopefully I can turn it around to at least break even this round.
02/24 - 168.0 Okay I guess yesterday was just water weight. Kicked my butt into gear yesterday.
02/25 - 166.7 Wow, all I did yesterday was stay under my calorie goal. Hope this weight isn't a fluke.
02/26 - 166.7 Great round! Thanks everyone for the accountability.8 -

Round 104 SW 242.6, EW 238.2
02/17 240.4, blood sugar 127. Looking at yesterday's food diary, I have no clear idea why my weight jumped up, but the previous day it fell 2 pounds for no reason so I am going to chalk this up to scale error and keep moving forward.
02/18 238.4, 118. My scale is acting like a random number generator lately. That, or I am seriously bouncing back and forth on fluid and sodium. Two pounds is a quart of water!
02/19 236.2 pounds, blood sugar 142. I will not get too excited, the random number generator is apparently setting me up for a bad bounce here shortly. With insulin on board I simply do not lose weight this quickly, and I even ate baked spaghetti last night (hence the blood sugar number.) I did go out for a short walk during lunch yesterday (only about one mile, work is a panic right now) but that doesn't account for more than 100 calories or so. Still, I am not going to complain about seeing a lower number!
02/20 237.0, blood sugar 89. If I wasn't overly excited about the scale saying 4 pounds less in two days, I can't get upset that it now adds almost a pound. I am still down for the challenge. I just need to do the work to STAY down. This will be a long day of meetings and by the time I get off there will be snow on the ground, so probably no walking today.
02/21 237.0 bs 110. Well, the promised sow never happened but we got sleet last night and I just don't walk in that in the dark. So a no change day for weight is probably as good as I could hope for. The weekend will be dry and 50's so if I can drag my lazy bum out of bed maybe I can score a few miles before Wyfe even notices I have stopped snoring.

02/25 238.4. I have to at LEAST get down a smidge to get below the end of last challenge end point. Failure is not an option.
02/26 239.0 There are no failures, only results. I have work to do next challenge.8 -

02/20: DNW - Scale won't move above 0 and I just put in new battery a week ago. Going to buy a new one today. 2/21 - Ended up that it wasn't broken. It was just me throwing it off-kilter by barely getting on it and jumping off to see around what my weight was going to be before actually weighing
02/21: 174.7 A normal fluctuation OR most likely a bad day yesterday. So, take every goal above and throw them all away and that was me yesterday I also hurt my back snow shoveling and today will be 3 days that I can't row or do any free-weights (it's much better today though!), but I CAN eat right and drink lots of water. Have a great weekend!
02/22: DNW - My back is better and I'm going to try rowing today. Exercise is what keeps me on track with everything else - especially when I row in the mornings. Not a good day yesterday. Going to catch this before it goes off the rails. I'm not weighing for a few days because it takes all my motivation away when it's not a normal fluctuation but because of my bad choices. Going to try to hit my lowest - 173.8 - again, by end of round!

02/26 - Act: 146.6 Trend: 147.1 - Managed to stay in the 146.x range and my trend continued downward for the round-- all good things. TOM should be arriving any day now. Between lack of water yesterday and some extra dairy I had (stupid lactose sensitivity), I'm already bloated and retaining plenty of water. TOM certainly isn't helping in that regard. Back to work today (yay!) and ortho this afternoon to see what next steps are. Managed to pack most of my kitchen from my butt, minus some pots and pans for 2 weeks of eating. Happy I can still manage to get some packing done (and that I started with the large items). Plus, it keeps me a little active and distracted so I'm not terribly bored and don't feel so fat and lazy as I do sitting on the couch all day. 1-2 days of that is fine, but nothing more or I start to go stir crazy!
Previous Day's Comments02/17 - The downward trend from last round continues after resuming full meals. I'll take this slower, but healthier, downward movement very happily. I'm coming down to the last 7-8lbs and I know I have to be careful to lose fat, not muscle. Only workout I did this weekend was cleaning/packing/organizing so not much at all. Depending on how my days go, I'll try to get in the little gym here at work (though timing will be hard as maintenance works the same hours and its always crowded before/after work. Maybe an alternate lunch time to everyone else?)
02/18 - Had a late dinner as I was out running errands with my neighbor lady. Other neighbor made a pot roast and it was a little high in sodium due to the tenderizing method he used. Traveling to KCMO today for work so water will probably not be the greatest but I will do my best. Not very many options to stop to go between KCMO and home so I have to time it right. Will catch up on posts tonight or tomorrow morning!
02/19 - I chuuuuugged water last night to try to get a little closer to water goals. I didn't have much at all (maybe 25-30oz total). Today I'm back at my normal work location and I have to give blood at 10. Hopefully my iron is okay. I had steak last night but I'll have to break my fast early and have some thing here in a short bit to be sure I'm good to go. Anyway, water is going to be super important today between dehydration yesterday and giving blood today. I drank some ginger-lemon tea and added some cinnamon to help with the bloat. I'm going to try to do this more often as it really helped this morning. I FEEL a little bloated, but I don't look it so much which was a boost I needed this morning. Yesterday's lunch was really heavy on me and left me feeling and looking super bloated. Work has a new wellness challenge for the next 4 weeks that started Monday. 1 point for each accomplishment: 5 servings fruit/veg, 7+hours sleep, 20+ min exercise, 10+ min relaxation. Anybody who has 20+ points at the end of the week (submit info Monday) is entered to win a fitbit (2 people drawn per week). So I had double side salad and double fruit salad with lunch on top of the chicken. It was a lot of food for one sitting but I know the fruit and salad weren't high in cals, the chicken was (Chik-fil-a strips, no sauce) and a cookie, of course. No self control there... Then last night my steak was with a side of grilled mini sweet peppers. I'm going for 3-4 servings veg and 1-2 servings fruit if I can. Don't know how I'll manage today... Don't have too many options to bring to work and don't want to go grocery shopping when I have so much food to eat or give away before moving. Did double yoga - easy YWA one for back pain last night I consider "relaxation" and another YWA for "Yoga Belly" which was a little more intense and got my heart rate up as "exercise"
02/20 - Bouncy, bouncy. The food truck was here yesterday -- they've been broken down and unable to come out for several months. Its a local classic so getting a burger was a MUST before I leave (never had one before). Drank a TON of water yesterday. Went over my goal, just didn't drink a lot the couple hours before bed. Super thirsty this morning so more chugging away! Yesterday I didn't have coffee and instead drank my ginger lemon tea. I think I might do that today. Seems to be helping (even if its just mentally) with feeling super bloated (and boy do I today despite 3 cups of the stuff yesterday!) Hit all my Wellness Challenge goals except fruit/veg. I had a cup of juice after blood donation (100% pure and 6oz qualifies as a serving). Other than that, I fell off. Tonight, since I'll be home and not running around like crazy, I'll try to make some of my frozen veggies so they're easier access when I'm being lazy. They need to get eaten in the next 3 weeks anyway...
02/21 - So I fell yesterday. Rolled my ankle under me and fell on top of it. Its the same ankle I tore tendons and ligaments in almost 8 years ago and still have instability in it. Also the leg with the numbness from my back injury -- recipe for disaster. It just gave out, walking on an even surface in the hallway. Unfortunately I hit the wall and slid straight down instead of falling sideways. I might not have done so much damage if I was able to fall sideways. Neighbor took me to urgent care. Not likely broken, but couldn't rule out fracture. They didn't have xray on site (who has an urgent care open until 7 and sends the xray tech home at 6?!) so I have to go back for xrays today. Neighbor had an orthopedic brace and crutches so she loaned them to me when she took me to urgent care last night. Couldn't cancel my tax appt so still have to hobble into that, too. At least I know how to get up and down stairs from experience. And I'm pretty dang solid on crutches even after all these years. Food will be interesting as now cooking is kinda out of the question. At least I have leftover homemade stir fry from last night for at least one meal today.
02/22 - Apparently I like bouncing between these two numbers a lot! Neighbor (who has been playing mommy) took me out to dinner last night so I know the bump up was from that. I broke my fast early with a fairly large meal (for me) and I'm glad I did, since dinner was the next opportunity to eat. Also had my water bottle full of coffee (since it can be sealed to go in a backpack unlike my coffee mugs) was all I had until about 530... Was stuck in doc's office and no water ): Swelling has gone down, as has bruising (still there, just not as bright/puffy). Haven't really been in pain except occasional random throbbing pain that lasts a few seconds and is gone. Or if I hit it/put any kind of weight on it (if I lose balance I have put my toes down to help regain). Nothing intolerable, just uncomfortable pain. I'm thankful it happened to the leg that I have numbness in from my back because I imagine that's what has been keeping me from feeling the worst of it. I only have 800mg ibuprofen for pain/swelling (I don't need for pain, but take for swelling because I want this to be OVER). Mama taking me to run my errands today since she doesn't want me going it alone. I can, but I appreciate having the company and someone there to help with the more complicated tasks. I am super sad about missing out on yoga, though. And going on walks since this weekend is super nice for February in Kansas.
02/23 - I expected an increase due to my situation, but it still stings. I might try to do some seated exercises just to get more movement in. I'm sure there's something I can do to keep moving a little bit and help keep the weight down. Sad thing is that I barely ate yesterday! Less than normal and still gained because I sat on my butt all day. I think that will be the most frustrating part. I guess abs and arms are going to get a lot more attention these next couple of weeks until I can be more mobile. Sorry for ranting, its all really frustrating. I'm bored out of my mind, too, which isn't helping me. Focusing on water and general movement, moreso than yesterday at least. I am DETERMINED to attack today much more positively than it started out. This could've been like last time I tore everything in my ankle and it took 13 months before I could walk without crutches or a boot, just a small brace. I'm fortunate in that regard. I have a full week of work this week which will get me out of the house and moving a bit more (especially if I go to the gym at work -- plenty to do upper body to stay active). I can still drive and get around, though inconvenient, so I don't need to ruin other's days taking care of me. The pain is very minimal, if any pain at all. I have mobility of my ankle back so it will not heal in an unfavorable position. All good things I am focusing on being thankful for today. If nothing else, my mindset will get me through the slight gain and hopefully help me drop back down! At least I have not popped back up to the 150s and that is my primary goal until I can go back to normal life.
02/24 - I was so stinking hungry yesterday... Today I'm back at work with limited mobility (don't think its very proper to scoot around on my butt between kitchen and living room as I did at home) so limited availability for food. Plus, I only brought so much for lunch. A large portion, but still a portion. Focus on water as I brought my other water bottle which has a handle to carry with. Its rainy and icky out which was not good walking into the office with -- Crutches like to slip and slide ): But I didn't fall and all is good. Isolating myself to my office. Boss planned on being here today and I haven't heard otherwise so lots and lots of sitting for me. I will conquer this and am very happy I've only slightly increased over these last couple of days.
02/25 - Yay, a drop! I'd be very surprised if I drop to or below my starting weight, but I'll be glad if I can keep 146.x tomorrow to end the round. I'm off to the doc, hopefully she will be able to see me quickly to fill out the paperwork so I can send it in today and return to work tomorrow. I will have to leave work early tomorrow to see the Ortho as I finally got an appointment, but hopefully I will find out how long I'm on crutches and in a boot then. I'm rather excited to at least be off crutches, if nothing else.

Last round was pretty successful by getting into the 170’s for the first time in 2020. My lowest weight was in October of 2019 at 176, so I hope to get close to that by Friday. This round, I have my birthday mixed in, which comes with tons of celebrations. I’m hoping not to gain too much!

02/17: 182.4 (I saved all my calories for a party, but I didn’t end up going since I had a lot of stuff to do around the house. So instead, I ate those calories at home! I knew this would happen so I’m not too worried about it. I did a Zumba workout at home yesterday!)
02/18: 181.2 (I had the day off from work yesterday because of the holiday! I cleaned my house and had to get a plumber in to fix my drain in the tub. Other than that I had a normal day! I ate to plan and did my Zumba class at the gym!)
02/19: My birthday! ❤️ 181.2 (boo I maintained! I ate to plan and did a 1 hour kickboxing class at the gym. I know this is because I’m ovulating any day now. I usually gain this week as well as TOM week. Anyway, I’m so happy I get to celebrate tonight with my hubby! I’m making dinner though lol gotta make my Friday weigh in!)
02/20: 181.2 (When my weight is the same like this, I know I’m ovulating. So yes I maintain the weight while doing all the right things. Yesterday I ate well for my bday! The hubby surprised me with chocolate covered strawberries and I made one small one fit into plan. Thanks to all those who wished me a happy bday! On to the next day!)
02/21: 180.4 (I’ve gained 0.6 pounds since last Friday’s official weigh in, but there’s nothing you can do about it when you’re a woman! I had no energy when I got off work yesterday and thankfully I had food cooking in the crockpot all day. I ate to plan and made it a rest day since my body was craving it. I’ll move my workout day to Saturday to compensate. Happy Friday everyone!)
02/22: 182.6 (Yesterday, I had my best friend come over on my off Friday and we watched movies, ate popcorn and pizza and our husbands came over after for a fun game night to celebrate my birthday. It was everything I wanted to do this year! No workout of course, unless you count my hand going from the popcorn bowl to my mouth 😂 I needed a day like that. It’s been a very long time.)
02/23: 186.0 (An expected gain from all the birthday celebrations! Went out with friends to brunch and then had a party at my house for the fight last night. I planned to have this happen over the weekend, so I’m not surprised.)
02/24: 182.4 (I walked a lot yesterday while out with friends to celebrate some more. We went to a drag show and had some bottomless mimosas. Let’s just say that I went a little overboard. Before I went to bed, my tummy did not feel good and I’ll leave it at that lol. It’s crazy that I dropped all that weight. But back to the grind!)
02/25: 182.0 (I did a Zumba class last night and ate to plan! I also was notified yesterday that I got a promotion from my director! It’s a great start to the week!)
02/26: 181.8 (I decided to change my workout plan and do some weight training and spin biking. I made a delicious chicken tortellini soup last night that was so good! I’m kind of hoping for a drop any day now, but maybe I’m holding on to weight from this weekend of eating.)

02/17 160.8 lbs. 1300 calories, only 5000 steps. It's pizza night with friends and I was feeling sorry for myself because my back will not just get out of it's funk and on top of that my 27 year old sewing machine was acting up and my husband and I spent all morning trying to figure it out but declared it needs a time out and I ordered a new one, so I needed a bowl of ice cream.
02/18 160.8 lbs 900 claories, 11,000 steps
02/19 161.4 lbs 1000 calories, 15,200 steps No idea for the gain, back right now, hurts to sit. Breaking down and going to the doctor today. Not happy about having more medical bills. But on the up side my new sewing machine should be here on Friday!
02/20 161.0 lbs 1350 calories, 10,000 steps. I had to take pills when I got home from the doctor with food and ice cream seemed the thing for this pity party. I was hoping to get an MRI but doctor wants to start with Physical Therapy and exercises. I have tried most everything a PT can do and for me this is just a waste of money. I was doing back exercises as my workout routine right up to two weeks ago when this all started. I am so sorry, I sound so negative, just tired of this pain and lack of being able to do what I need to do. I usually IF for 16 hours but now I have to take pills with food in the morning so that is off for a few days.
02/21 161.0lbs 1650 calories, 12,600 steps.
02/22 DNW Kids and grandbabies were here for the weekend plus meds, completely off diet.
02/23 DNW Woke up sick, vomiting, etc. I think from the steroids, spent the whole day in my room. Ugh!
02/24 157.1 lbs still ill.
02/25 157.0 lbs headache, back pain and stomach still a mess, 525 calories, 2000 steps I would love to see this number stay, it's pretty to look at but I am sure once I rehydrate it will go up some but still nice to look at.
02/26 159.0 lbs, 1100 calories, 3000 steps, rehydrated, lower back to neck hurt so bad, the side effects from the steroids are over but also are any of the help they were providing with the back pain. I can't sit, I can't walk, lay down, it hurts no matter what. Rescheduled PT for Thursday, hoping for some sort of relief soon.
Overall 1.6 lbs lost and I made it into the 50's. So a win for the round.6 -

I need some accountability. These last 10 lbs are brutal. No excuses this round, no travel and no birthdays.

Round 103- SW 160, EW 157 -3
Round 104- SW 157, EW 159 +2
02/17 – 159 I'm not letting last round get me down. I'm in this for the long haul.
02/18- 160, really? Sigh. I took the kids to the zoo all day and we walked for miles, but we did eat out and it was hard to calculate actual calories. Panera has amazing salads, but then I had a bagel.... LOL
02/19- 156 OK... I know I've been eating better the last 2 days, but that seems like a big drop. Not sure how real it is, but I'll take it.
02/20- 155 rode Frosty yesterday and ran 2 miles this morning in the the dark.
02/21-155- tried to ride frosty, but she was crazy wound. Lunged her and took her for a jog. Out for drinks. Tracking calories daily.
02/22- 157- rode at the indoor today
02/23- 159 WTF? I haven't gone off the rails. I mean I didn't track my calories yesterday, but really?! Rode a sale horse, Frosty and ran 4 miles
02/24- 157 Thank goodness...
02/25- 159 I'm done with this crappy scale. I can make it fluctuate several pounds depending on how I stand on it. I'm buying a digital today on amazon. Recommendations? Ran 2 miles this morning, walked the kid on the pony yesterday, but no real workout.
02/26- 158 Down 1 lbs for the 10 days. Not super happy with this especially because I fluctuated all over the place and I didn't think I was that flaky with my eating. On to the next round.6 -

Day/Weight/Comment
2/17: 145.8 (0) No change from yesterday, which is a win. I was able to get in a big run, with lots of walking and stretching to keep the hip happy. Then we went to Korean Food with friends in town – no idea what we were eating with all the sauces, rice, etc. Sodium had to be off the charts. I assume it will rear its ugly little head tomorrow. 😆But it was fun to see them😎
2/18: 145.4 (-.4) Went to slow flow yoga and then walked with a friend for 3.75 miles. I was sore and tired last night – not sure why. I ate well, tried to work on protein intake and getting enough fiber but my challenge is getting fiber without wrecking my carbs. I am not winning the macro thing!😝
2/19: 145.2 (-.2) Got a run in which felt pretty good. Really pushed the protein today so I hit that macro but of course, went over on the carbs. I have a sweet tooth – either I get it from blueberries or chocolate. Either way, my carbs go up. 🤩
2/20: 145.8 (+.6) I am blaming the Democratic Debate on driving me to drink last night. That was WWF match at its finest! Anyway, today was a run day on the treadmill….I wasn’t motivated but got it done!
2/21:144.8 (-1.0) Due to schedule, did not get all my calories yesterday. Ate later than planned and it was so salty – Amy’s soups are good but too salty. My bad. Glad for a loss but this will not stand as today is the first day in a long time that I cannot workout as I am driving to Houston and back.✌
2/22:144.0 (-.8) What goes down must go up! I will pay for yesterday, tomorrow! Drove to Houston with college daughter, just to keep her company so she could prep on the way for an interview. (I swear I am not a helicopter mom – it’s a 3 hour drive and and she had a 4 hour interview and then a 3 hour drive home – and sleepless college kids – not a good combo IMHO). And the bonus – I got to hang with her which I don’t get to very often even though she goes to college 10 miles away. Anyway, didn’t get to exercise other than walking the outlet mall and the worst part, we stopped at Buc-Cees on the way home! For those of you who don’t know about Buc-Cees – it’s a massive TX-sized “minimart” with all kinds of treats, junk food, etc. I ate a bag of Snappers minis – so good and yet so bad. Then pizza for dinner.😈😈😈😈😈
2/23:143.6(-.4) Tried to stick to the plan yesterday – gym workout, eat healthy. Had 0 energy so was just lazy after the gym. Wasn’t terribly hungry either but managed to eat most of my calories. Got to hold a week old baby boy so that was awesome! Life is precious😘 Today, longer run day and hope hip flexor will not yell at me. Then mexican food with out of town friends. Will need to go easy at dinner.
2/24:144.4 (+.8) Not that surprised with this….eating out is not easy. Had to guess my calories but still ate well under….maybe salt. Yoga day…..Namaste 🙏
2/25:143.6 (-.8) My scale is taking notes from the Stock market…..Don’t know what to believe. But I did not hit my calories yesterday so its probably that. Had a last minute offer to walk with a friend and did 4 miles so earned back some calories. 📉
2/26: 142.6 (-1.0) Well….I am not going to complain. I reset it per the scale instructions so it registered 0 and this is what came up. I have been consistently exercising and eating under calories so who the heck knows. I am trying to focus on averages and how I feel and my macros. And I have a very social weekend with houseguests and parent weekends for college girl so this will change. Happy hump day y’all – see you in Round 106 😘
Round Total: (-3.2) - Best round yet if I choose to believe it. Will focus on the averages.👍
