I can't help noticing that the frequency of bedroom activities has increased lately...more self confidence, increased drive?20

I stumbled across two packets of sweets given to me, for my kids, in my coat pocket. I've just thrown them in my handbag (from which nothing is ever found again) and not eaten them despite having a bit of an anxious afternoon in work. I writing this so it's already in my mind as a victory, and then there's no chance I will cave and eat them to (try to) feel better on my bus ride home. Choosing to recognise that junk won't make me less anxious right now, I just have to ride the emotions out.14

I had a couple the other day in my workouts. I upped my pushups to 30, planked for 5 minutes, and beat my flights of stairs on the stair treadmill. The latter was really hard, I doubt I'll beat it today! Oh, and I'm one plate away from doing all of them on a leg machine, can't wait to see the whole stack up in the air!15

I just came across a bag of fun-size milky way bars in the pantry...I had FORGOTTEN about them!!
They used to be irresistible little sirens calling out to me until I ate them.
And now that I know they are there, I still don't really want one.20 -
I’ve gotten all my workouts in despite having classes this week and I wanted to eat all the things last night but stopped myself after two rice cakes!17

I went trying on jeans today and I discovered to my excitement I could fit size 14 jeans! Real denim too - not even that stretch stuff. I spent a while admiring how thin my legs and butt looked in the changing room mirror when they were on too!! So that was a major victory as 7 months ago I was size 24 and would not have worn jeans at all as they just didn't look good.
Then I was going through some old clothes at home and to my excitement discovered an old belt - I need more belts!! So I put it around my waist straight away to try.. and booo - I'm too thin to fit any of the holes! So I guess I don't have a new belt - it looks brand new and shiny as well so I'll be donating it. But I am happy about that as well!16 -
I finally went down a pant size today! I have lost 22 pounds so far, but I hadn't seen much of a change in my waist. When I have lost weight before it seems like it takes forever for my clothing to fit differently. I bought a pair of US 14s a couple of months ago, and when I tried them on today they finally fit! It's nice to finally see some change in my body. Seeing the scale number go down is great, but noticing a physical change is even better.17

I got a nice compliment at spin class today. There was a participant who hadn't been in class before, a pretty fit-looking I've seen around my Y but not in class, and she was on the bike next to me.
At the end of class, she thanked me for being a good pacesetter, saying she liked to pick out someone who was working hard and use them as motivation to keep intensity up. Surprised at this, I thanked her and said "Li'l ol' lady tries!" (I'm 64, BTW). Her reply: "No, you don't try. You do it." So sweet of her; I was touched.40 -
Last week visited Vegas for the first time. Had no idea there would be SO. MUCH. WALKING. And all those escalator bridges just to cross the street. A lot of the escalators were broken, and I kept thinking as a charged up the steps, a year ago I would not have been able to do this! I often chose the stairs when the escalators were packed (tho not every time). Step counter put me over 25 miles for the week. Yeah, that never woulda happened a year ago. Day 5 I wore 4 inch heels to a party in my hotel. Last year I would have had to skip the party altogether.

Sharing the love with you on this one and for the first time in 20+ years went from a 3 hook to a 2!14 -
My bathroom towel goes all the way around me now.34

My wedding ring doesn’t fit anymore which means I’m lighter than I’ve been in over 5 years now!25

Unplanned 10k this morning and PR. My previous fastest was 9 years ago. Of course, that was a lot more hills than today.18

Make sure you get a ring guard or the ring resized. I failed to do so and lost my wedding ring when I took some recycling to the recycling center and it fell off in a dumpster.17 -
I went "shopping" in my closet this morning...some of the "smaller me" items are already too big. I guess I missed some opportunities! It will definitely be time to go real shopping soon.19

I've been making digital scrapbook pages in the evenings instead of eating. I'm having so much fun!21

The sense of self-empowerment by being able to say no is so much more rewarding than the food itself.
I love this line! Reminds me of another line I saw on MFP.: Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels.
I posted that at my desk at work. I'd like to post yours next to it.
I said no to the best fried fish on Friday. My office also is known as a grazing hub. Someone is forever bringing in sugar, carbs, chocolate, so it helps to have encouragement.
I work in different offices on different days. Doesn't matter where I go - the temptations are everywhere! I need to keep both of those reminders front and center every day! Kudos to both of you for the inspiration.

All of a sudden even more women are coming up to me and telling me I inspire them. I saw one of my instructors behind the desk, pulling a “YEAH!” fist and grinning at me behind ones back. That meant more than the actual compliment.
I hit my lowest weight in 27 years today, went in to put on some pretty leopard leggings I just bought in August, when I splurged because “surely” I couldn’t get any smaller, and they are swimming on me. Same with some nearly new (and expensive- by my standards) leggings I just rewarded myself with at Christmas. They both fit perfectly a couple of weeks ago.
This is after I bumped my calories up 300 a day. I guess the recomp is working!
Sometimes I feel like my own lab experiment.29 -

*sigh* since I started out so heavy, even when I get the weight off, I'm not going to have a smooth back - the only difference is that the bulges now sag......course, that's what I buy spanx for!13 -
PR on my trail run today!17

The size down fits perfectly *huge cheesy grin*17 -
I can almost do a normal toe-touch! Up until recently, I couldn't even do a poor one. Now my belly is drooping instead of sticking out. Also, now there are a couple inches between me and the steering wheel.20

Had a horrible, horrible family-induced stressful day but my only thought as I drove home was, "I need to go for a run!"
Once upon a time, in a previous life, I'd have been munching a family-sized bar of chocolate on my way home.23 -
Today I realized I needed new tank tops to sleep in. I can't sleep in anything loose, so they need to be sized down one size from where I'm at now.
I can't order from the place I'm used to ordering clothes from. They only go down to 1x.
So victory for me; a very slight dip into straight sizes. The rest is yet to come....32
